Arden wondered, how could the enemy won? How many people did the enemies have? They talked and talked, making strategy and planning how to win against in their enemy.
Day turned into night and night turned into day, one day straight planning a strategy.
Then a person came inside the cave, horrified face can be seen. Based on his breath, he already runs for a long distance
"My lord, enemies are seen 1 day away"
Both sir Aswick and Arden stand up and shocked. Arden asked the person.
"How many are they?"
"More than 10 thousand, 15 thousand at most." still tired after running for a long distance.
Arden and sir Aswick became more shocked and quickly goes back making strategy.
Out numbered 5 to 1, both of them made a strategy.
They will divide the army, Arden's army will be hid in the forest and sir Aswick's army will be put into the Castro fortress.
The troops are moved to the location and then they waited for Bisvirb's army to come.
One day later, they came to the location and they saw Castro fortress being defended by 50 men.
The enemy's general underestimated the army and then commanded their troops to make a siege camp.
This is the time Arden have been waiting for, when they are building the siege camp, they will put away their weapon and exchanging them for hammer to make the siege camp.
Arden thought about his victory near the city of Riet, he believed he could win again, even though the odds is bad.
"Charge!!!!!!"
He shouted and all of his troops obeyed, the infantryman charged and, the knights and the cavalry started mounting their horse and then followed the infantryman.
The enemy commander is as confused as their troops.
With their armor unequipped and didn't have their weapon on their hands. The enemy got slaughtered instantly.
Some of them could get their weapon in hands but still got slaughtered, Arden joined the fray as well.
Many of the enemy realized Arden is an important person and attacked him, most of them is cut off even when they touched Arden.
But some pass and attacked hit Arden, with all his might, Arden continued to fight and kill the enemies while gritting his teeth to relieve the pain.
And then, an enemy commander that looked over weight came up to him and attacked him.
His attack is not accurate and easy to block like it was given from a new unexperienced soldiers.
There is many opening in his attack and Arden goes for one of it.
Within seconds, he dropped dead to the ground and the battle continued.
When all of the enemy realized what had happened, it's already too late. Most of them is already killed and the other scattered at all direction.
In the end, the enemy lost almost all their troops and Arden lost not even a quarter of his army.
They waited at Castro fortress while celebrating their victory over Bisvirb.
After 3 days in the fortress, a noble entered the forest and demanded to talk to Arden.
At first, he is not allowed but he waited and finally, the guard let him to enter.
He said he is the king of Bisvirb and he wanted peace and also gave a piece of message for king Astria written on a paper, Arden simply asked why?
"You destroyed the army that consisted of all the troops I can muster on my kingdom"
"That is your whole army?"
"Indeed"
And then Lucaro walked in. Shocked face is displayed on both the king of Bisvirb and Lucaro face.
And then, the king started saying something.
"My son?!?"
"Father?"
"I have been searching for you in the past 3 years, where have you been"
Arden is shocked, the knight that lived under his banner is actually a prince himself.
"I have been declaring war on Avalon since I thought you killed my son, I was wrong"
Three of them walked to a table to talk.
The king, while sobbing explained to Arden that 3 years ago, when he goes to Lucaro's bedroom to check on him.
He found blood on the wall and Avalon's banner on the bed. He wanted to declare war on them but still didn't have their power.
So they waited until Avalon is on the bad condition. The king also explained that the war 6 years ago is made by Lucaro's grand father.
The current king always wanted peace but then decided to make peace later because of the incident 3 years ago.
While his father explained all of this, Lucaro watched his father and sobbed as well.
And then Lucaro told his story.
"3 years ago, I was sleeping in my bedroom and the very next day, I woke up in the forest. I walked and walked and found a city, I worked and got the money to buy my armor, then I started doing things like a normal knight"
Arden is a very understanding man and simply said.
"I myself doesn't know my parent and I don't want other people relationship with their parents is destroyed. Lucaro, you are now free to go with your father"
They both gave their thanks to Arden and now Arden doesn't have anything to do here and then let sir Aswick to take care of the place.
Arden began his journey to the capital, while in the road, many of the knights talked and laugh.
Some come to Arden and talked to him
"That is an easy war, we didn't even waste a week on there. Hahahahahaha"
"Indeed, but now we must go to the south after going to the capital, be prepared, I believe it won't be easy there"
They arrived at the capital and like normal, Arden goes to the throne room to meet the king.
The king is shocked Arden came back this fast and then Arden proceed to give the message from king of Bisvirb to his king.
"Now, here is your last task, go to the south and reinforce both sir Valencio and sir Rakham, I believe that sir Aswick will also be joining in 5 months. Defend the south for me till that time, and good luck"
"Yes, my majesty"
"Now go, they are waiting for you and I'm waiting for my victory and also, from now on you are a count from now on, we will discuss about the land next time"
"Thank you, my lord"
Arden proceeds to go and prepare his army while smiling since he got a promotion.
