First Day At Manila

Ella and her friends were sneaking out of Cebu very early in the morning.

They met Alfred at the park selling flowers to the travellers. "Let us snub him,just pretend as if you don't see him" Mary said to Ella and Samantha whispering.

The three of them goes straight to where bus ticket is been sold to purchase it, Alfred sight them from where he was standing "Ella! Mary! Samantha! please wait for me" He said while running towards them.

"Please sir we want to buy tickets of bus going to Manila, hurry up please" Samantha told the Park secretary while trembling.

The three of them rushed inside the bus and they're the last passenger, Alfred ran so fast just to catch up with them but before he could get to them, there bus has already taken off. 

"Ella, Mary, Samantha, where re you going? talk to me please" Alfred saying this while running after their bus and slamming it with he's  hand.

"I don't know what he want, he just spoil my mood ummmh" Samantha said looking so pissed.

"Please ma'am can you borrow me your cell phone? our dear Ella need to call her father" Mary told the lady sitting in front of them. She turned back and look at them with a disgusting face, then continue pressing her face.

"She is not even pretty, I pity her. She don't know that you're the governor daughter in law to be, don't worry when we get to Manila, we will look for where you can make a call".

*Cebu*

Alfred, face look so dull while he was going home from the park. Mrs Toms was coming from the market holding basket full of different fruits and she met Alfred on her way home "Hello Alfred, why did you look so dull, what happened to you?"

"My Ella has gone to Manila with her friends" water was falling on Alfred cheek while saying this to Mrs Toms.

"Haaaaaaaa those three demons have duped me and run away" Mrs Toms screamed and dropped the basket on the floor then sat down screaming and crying. Then Alfred started consoling her.

*Manila*

"Ella, Samantha, wake up,wake up, we're in Manila now, look, every where is beautiful not like Cebu" Mary said while she woke her friends up.

"Hello Manila" Mary said while stepping out from the bus holding her waist and raised her left hand up, looking excited.

"So where should we go from here?" Ella asked Mary and Samantha while facing them Samantha brings out the flyer that was distributed to them back then in Cebu, she gave it to Ella "Read out the address on it, that is where we are going"

"Are you two crazy? don't tell me you don't have where we can stay before bringing me here! there is no address here" Ella said with her eyes filled with anger.

"Sorry Ella, let ask around am sure people we know where the company is" Mary replied.

Samantha stopped a taxi "Hey what are you doing?" Ella asked Samathan.

"We're going to that company remember, let just pray this cab man knows the place"

The three of them get inside the cab, "Where are you going?" The cab man asked staring at the front mirror looking at them.

"Please take us to LAVIDA-S COMPANY" Mary 

replied the cab man.  

"Okay ma'am"

Then cab man drive them to LAVIDA-S COMPANY.

The three of them step out from the cab felt so amazed seeing how big the company was. When they arrive there "Ella, you're so lucky, look at your mother in law company so big and huge" Mary said this with excitement.

They all walked closer to the company Mrs Davis was about leaving the company she is already in her car when Samantha rushed to her "Hey ma'am please wait" she said, breathing heavily

"Stop the car" Mrs Davis told her driver. Then she wind down 

"Who are you?"

"Am Samantha Suarez ma'am" 

"Why did you stopped me?" Mrs Davis asked while staring at Samantha.

"I and my two friends came here to look for job in your company ma'am" Samantha replied Mrs Davis and she was trembling, while Ella and Mary were standing 3yards to them.

"Ooh OK, but no vacancy for massagers for now. Please start the car and let go" Mrs Davis said and she wind up the glass.

"Ooh ma'am wait" Samantha was running after Mrs Davis car while Mary and Ella were look at her from where they're standing.

"Mary, Ella, both of you let followed her" Samantha stop the cab Mary and Ella walked up to her and enter the cab. Samantha told the cab man to follow Mrs Davis car.

When Mrs Davis got home her guard closed the gate after she drives in, Ella and her friends arrived with cab.

They were amazed by the look of that house because it look so big and beautiful. "Ella you're lucky look at the house you will be living in now so beautiful and big, am so jealous of you right now" Mary said this with happy expression written all over her face, while Ella was smiling.

The cloud change and Thunder began to tremble then rain started falling, the three of them don't have any where to hide and Samantha suggested that they should stay under the rain since they don't know when next they're going to bath.

Mrs Davis was inside her room upstairs looking at them through the window.

The next morning Mrs Davis has prepared for work and she was about to drive out, then she saw three young ladies laying down in front of her gate, when the guard open the gate for her, she almost hit them, then she screamed "Oh my!" She was shocked.

"Who are this refuges?" Mrs Davis asked while step out of her car angrily "Guards!"

Ella and her friends got up quickly and said "We're sorry ma'am" Trembling.

Mrs Davis cite Samantha "Are you not the lady that stopped me yesterday, before I left my company?"

"Yes ma'am, we're sorry, it just that one of us. Her father was sick and she needs money to treat him, so that is why we came here maybe you can help us with any job even if it's cleaning your office always" Samantha replied having pitiful expression on her face. 

"And which one among you is that?" Mrs 

Davis asked calmly 

The three of them look at each other then Mary and Samantha pointed at Ella "No" Ella replied looking confused.

"Ella admit it, you don't have to hide am sure ma'am has a good heart she will give us job"  Samantha said, walking towards Ella and sounding pitiful.

"Okay, Okay. Nanny, Nanny" Mrs Davis called the head of the maid in her house.

"Yes ma'am" Nanny respond and came out from the house to the compound.

"Which work can we give this girls?" Mrs Davis asked her Nanny while facing her

"I don't know ma'am" The Nanny responded calmly 

"Okay, you guys should come back tomorrow" Mrs Davis told Ella and her friends.

"Sorry ma'am we came from Cebu so we don't have any where to stay ma'am" Mary replies Mrs Davis 

"Oh my gosh! you're unbelievable! fine, Binto!?" 

"Yes ma'am"

"Let this three girls stay with you till tomorrow"

"Am sorry ma'am we don't even know them, who knows they might be thief's" Binto replied  Mrs Davis 

"Hey Mr or Miss, we don't steal" Mary replied Binto looking at if she wants to fight him.

"Hey, you two stop! Binto they're staying with you and that final" Mrs Davis said with seriousness expression on her face.

"Ma'am" Binto replied.

*The Governor's Office*

"How about the case of Lia I asked you to worked on?" Governor asked his P.A while sitting on his chair pressing the laptop on his desk.

"Working on it sir" P.A replied governor and bow his head.

"I want her release fast, before her brother comes back from abroad"

"Okay sir."

The P.A left the governor office to make a call, then he smiles after dropping the call. 

*Station*

"Good day sir am here to report myself" A man walk up to the officer standing at entrance of the station. While  some journalist are inside the station waiting for what to report on.

"Please come in" the officer replies

They both walked in and the officer pick up his pen, "I'm listening"

"Sir, we drug Lia Davis the governor daughter and carried her to our gambling scene so that rich people we like to steak with us once they see the governor daughter among us."

Those journalist turn on their camera and told the man to repeat what he said. The man was arrested and the news spread all over that Lia Davis the governor daughter, don't know anything about the gambling she was arrest for.

*Governor Villa*

"Did you watch the news today?" Governor asked his wife while laying beside her on there matrimonial bed. 

"l watched the news you and your P.A cooked up." Mrs Davis replied, as she turns her back to her husband on the bed.

"What did you mean?" Governor asked then stand up and sit beside the bed edge.

"You can't fool me! the way you fooled the masses. Or do you think I don't know you plan this? you and I knew your bastard daughter was involved in that gambling!. you know what? am sick and tired of you both. Excuse me."  Mrs Davis get up angrily and left the bedroom.

The LAVIDA-S COMPANY

Mrs Davis set up meeting with the press and annoccce when her son would be back, which will be a day before the event.

Mary rushed to where Ella was, she was serving coffee to the staffs "Hey Ella, your prince charming is coming back, I can't wait" She said this with excitement all over her face.

"Hey keep it low Mary someone might hear you, remember Mrs Davis told us that any mistakes from us, she is going to sack us and she also said we should always mind our business" Ella replied Mary calmly.

"Hey Ella, I was just happy for you, since your prince charming will be back tomorrow".
