I looked up to her face that was beaming with mischief. She crossed her arms across her chest as she leaned against the wall.

"Yes, me. Why...Did you miss me? A coy smile appeared on her face. Miss her? Please! Okay, maybe I did think about her sometimes, but not all the time.

"W-why will I miss you?" I faked a scoff and avoided looking at her. Why did I stutter?! I mentally facepalmed. Now, she was going to think that I was just a lame loser.

She tilted her head and raised her eyebrow in amusement. "Your face reaction says otherwise".

My eyes widened in horror. "What?!" What was wrong with my face? Was my face that easy to read?

She tittered, shaking her head at me. Great! Now, I looked like an idiot.

"Relax, my man. I was just joking with you." She leaned away from the wall and placed her hands inside her red jean jacket. She had on black jeans that hugged her figure very well. Those thighs, damn! I could admire them all day.

"Yeah, this baby is my best feature." She giggled with amusement as she patted her thighs. I looked at her in horror. Shit! I was caught staring. I kept on embarrassing myself. Who was this chick, and why was suddenly making me act like an idiot? I know I was an Idiot already, but this was another level.

"I am so sorry! Please, forgive me. I did not mean to look at it-It was very rude of me. I tried to not look, but then I looked. I am so sorry!" I kept on talking non stop like an Idiot. I think I have a crush on her. That explains the reason why I was acting like this. Now, I sounded insane. Crush? Pfft.

She heaved a sigh. "Man, you talk a lot and you also think a lot." Her mouth curved into a smile. "That's kind of cute."

Cute?! Why were the girls suddenly calling me cute? Did puberty finally make me attractive? But I already passed that age.

A laugh erupted from her. She bent down and clutched her stomach. Did I say or do something funny? I scratched my head.

"You are funny in a kind of cute-ish way." Huh? What was that supposed to mean?

She shook her head. "Never mind. Anyways, why were you spying on them?" Her tone was wary but cheerful.

I wasn't spying on them. I get where she had gotten that misconception from. I was just passing by when my eyes landed on them, and you can't blame a person for being curious.

"I-I was not doing that." My voice cracked. Crap! My voice cracking would make her even get more suspicious of me.

She raised a brow before a smile appeared on her mouth. "Relax, I would also do the same thing when I see some shady ass people."

I narrowed my eyes. "Shady ass?"

Her smile faded. "Never mind." She looked away, avoiding my eyes. Was she hiding something?

"Oh, come on! Don't look at me like I am hiding something. " She threw her hands in the air. Was it that easy to read my face?

"Then why do you look like you are hiding something?"

"I am not hiding something. I said that they were shady because they do look like they were hiding something." She glanced at their back and rolled her eyes.

She was right at that though. They did look shady, but, my mom taught me that we should not judge people without knowing the truth.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Well, it is not our business anyway. Shady or not, It is their issue."

She tilted her head, and then she smirked. "I like your attitude."

That was kind of weird. She was giving me a simple compliment, and yet was she eyeing like she wants to jump on my bones. I took in a sharp breath and looked away from her sharp gaze. Oh, God! Oh, God! This was starting getting weird.

"You know what, let me go before I get late to class." She laughed while walking way. She was such a weird girl, but I somehow kind of liked her personality.

"Oh wait! I almost forgot. Can you show me where room 2112 is?" She scratched her head.

"I can take you. It is next to my class."

"Oh, thank you! This school is big and confusing. I appreciate your help."

"You do not have to thank me." I could feel the blood running to my cheeks. Damn me!

"You are so cute that it is not a joke."

How many time was this girl going to make me blush?! At this point, my face must have been so red. When was I going to stop blushing when a girl gave me a compliment that probably did not mean anything.

"Well, are we gonna just stand here and look at each other all day, or are we gonna go to class because the bell has already rung?" She giggled.

The bell rung?! I glanced at my watch to see that I was already one minute late. Now, this was what happens when a beautiful girl distracted you.

"Shit! We need to hurry now!"

"Damn! Relax. Haven't you ever gone to class late before?"

"Never and I will not start now."

"Honey, sorry to ruin your hope, but you are already late." She facepalmed.

"I am ruined."

I got inside class with everyone's eyes on me. This was why I hated coming late to class. Everyone would pay attention to you and I hate attention. I was only two minutes late, and yet the class seemed full.

"Do you mind telling me why you are late, Ryan?" Ms.Miller folded her arms as she glanced at me. I felt angry that I broke my perfect record of tardiness. Okay, I was exaggerating. I was not angry, but I was pretty much disappointed.

"Oh come, Ms Mi! He is just late for two minutes." I jerked my head in the direction of where David was sitting.

There he goes with his big mouth. This boy had some guts. I could never talk back to a teacher.

"David, open your mouth again, and you might get another detention." She glared at him.

Oh, trust me. That idiot was for sure going to open his mouth again. Just wait for it.

"There is no way I can get dentition again. I already have one for this week."

"David, you have dentition for two weeks."

What did I say? David was known for attracting trouble. This would not be the first nor the last time he got in trouble.

She pushed her glasses up. "Ryan, take a seat. Next time, make sure you arrive on time."

Trust me, this would never happen again. I took my seat next to David who was sitting at the back. Best sit in the world. Sitting at the front was exhausting. Especially when your teacher's eyes were on you all the darn time.

"So, what made you came late cause I am damn sure that you would not do it intentionally." He narrowed his eyes at me as he leaned forward.

"Ha-ha. What are you talking about?" I gave a dismissive wave of my hand.

He narrowed his eyes at me and chuckled. " Ryan, we have been best friends since childhood. Whom do you think that you are fooling?"

The toughest part of having a best friend was that they know you so well that nothing gets past them. He could read me like an open book.

I drew my lower lips between my teeth and stared at him. I was contemplating on whether to tell him or not. I was afraid that he might make it a big issue.

"So, umm...I got late because I-I was talking to a g-girl." I avoided his eyes. One, two, three...wait for it.

"You finally asked a girl out?! This is the best day ever!" He jumped from his seat with both of his hands in the air.

"David! Why in the world are you screaming?!" Ms.Miller glared at David who looked like a deer in highlight.

I knew he was gonna overreact, but this was too much. Now, everyone was staring at me, and it was starting to give me panics. There was only one way to get through this.

"Ms.Miller! Can I go to the bathroom?!" I stood up from my seat and raised my hand. I must have looked like an idiot because the class started to bust in laughter.

She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "You did not have to yell like that, Ryan. What is with you boys today?"

"Nothing Miss. So can I go?"

"Sure. You can go even though you just came five minutes ago."

"Thank you!" I yelled as I ran for the door. The moment the air hit my face, I felt that I could breathe. I was never a social person, so when people paid attention to me, I would get panic attacks. I was glad that I did not get a full-blown attack in the class today.

I opened the bathroom door to see that no one was in there. I still checked all the stalls to make sure that there was no one in there. I did not want anyone to see me at my vulnerable point.

I faced the mirror and splashed some water on my face. I was glad that I was getting done with high school soon. Lord knows how I can not take this anymore.

"You are not so bad looking, but you lack confidence." I talked back to my reflection. I knew that was lame, but I still loved doing it. In a way, it was a way for me to ensure myself. I was self insecure. Women are not the only ones who suffer from this.

As I kept on staring at my reflection, suddenly the door of the last stall slammed itself open. I whirled my head so fast that I could hear the crack it made. What the fuck was that?

I was contemplating on whether to check it out. In horror movies, the character always ends up dying when he or she checked out the noise, but this was real life. No way could happen, right?

I dragged my feet towards the stall. I went inside the stall to see that there was no one. So what slammed the door open? I think I might be going crazy. I needed to get out of here.

"Ryan"

I stiffened. Why was I hearing the same voice? I whirled around to see the same woman standing behind.

"Fuck!" My chest rose and fell with rapid breaths. I walked back into the stall. I had to get away from her.

She tilted her head sideways, baring her fangs. Her long dark hair covered her naked, bloody body. Jesus! Why was she always naked?

"There is no place to run, Ryan. There is only you and me here." A creepy smile appeared on her face. Her red eyes went round with excitement. This sight was disturbing me.

I shut my eyes. "Go away! You are just a nightmare!" I was trying to convince myself that she was not real.

"Awww...I am real, Ryan. Want to see for yourself?" I opened my eyes to see that she was right in front of my face, her breath hitting me. I suddenly broke into a panic attack. I clutched my chest as I crawled away from her.

She was not giving up. The more I ran, the more she chased.

"Oh come on. There is no use in running. I will always catch you." She laughed, throwing her head back. "Do you know how long I have waited for you?!" She pulled her hair.

I was losing consciousness. The pain was too much to bear. The color was draining out of my face.

This was not how I was going down. I had to try one final time. Hopefully, Someone could hear me.

"H-Help me!"

Her expression hardened. "No one can help you, Ryan. Face it....you were born to be mine."

I was not born to be yours, you dumb bitch.

"Now, let's go home. You have been a brat. Someone needs to learn their lesson." She grabbed my ankle and dragged me out of the stall.

I grabbed the door. There was no way I would let her win.

"Let the door go, Ryan." She scowled.

Fuck no.

"I said, let it go!"

Over my dead body.

A dark chuckle erupted from her. "Fine! If this is how you want things to go." She raised her left hand, her claws getting bigger. Terror overtook my face. She was going to kill me.

She brought her hand to my chest, near my heart. This could not be happening!

"Ryan! " Suddenly, the bathroom door was slammed open. That was the last thing I heard before I lost consciousness.
