LOGINDeploying his telescopic baton, running on the railing to avoid the stampede. Taking out his six-shooter, he started shooting the Deckers, coming for blood. They chanted their mantras as they started firing on the crowd. Although vile he didn't hesitate to use the fallen bodies as a shield against their bullets.
The lights are down as he took cover. Muzzles flashes shone as the very floor of the stadium flooded with blood. They held no hesitation in their slaughter. They gunned down the young and old down as Jakob pushed through. Noticed by the Mechanical Cult, he uses a seat to jump over the head of one of the cultist.
He bashes the skull of a cultist, disarms him, and uses the gun to shoot three to four down. Landing on the side of a seat, he plucks the seat out of the floor, threw it on the cultist, and elbowed another in the neck. Ducking at a wide swing of a chainsaw, he went in for another elbow, followed it by plunging the pommel of the baton on the nape of the cultist.
A bullet hit Jakob's suit. He stumbled, gritted his teeth, threw a cultist with a shoulder throw, and opened the glabella of the same cultist. Holstering his six-shooter, chucking his baton at a cultist, he closed in, went in for a kick on the ribs, catch the baton and stabbed the cultist with the end of the baton. Pulling the baton out of the cultist's skull, he fell on his back as he got hit by rounds of bullet, destroying the last remnants of protection that he had. Rolling back to his feet, he plunged his elbow on a cultist, lifted the cultist and lobbed the cultist to another.
Sprinting to a cultist, he slugged the cultist on the throat, elbowed, followed by a crushing blow using his knee. Drawing the slung rifle in his hands, fingers pressed firmly on the grip and trigger. Opening fire, cracking a shot below their necks, he continued moving while avoiding the slaughter happening on the civilians. It wasn't his first rodeo. He had seen a city burn, and its inhabitants eaten alive by the belua's. It didnt mean he was immune. Jakob hardened his heart as he continues on to protect the future star of Aured City.
Breaking into a sprint, he kept on shooting cultists while leapfrogging over civilians, and even using them as shields against the bullets if there were no choice but to do so. Continuing on, he arrived on the outskirt of the stadium where he faced off against an exosuit. Strafing to the left, ducking before it could hit him, and then forcibly slamming his shoulder, turning into a shoulder throw in which he smashes his fist like hammer blows until the cultist was dead. Another exosuit user flung Jakob away, his back slamming against civilians. Rolling away from them, they got turn into meat ribbons by the exosuit user.
Pouncing at the exosuit user, slamming his elbow repeatedly on the cultists face until it caved in. He took the rifle of the cultist, then unloaded the mag against them; he bashes the rifle like a bat, using sharp objects and fragments as weapons while dodging bullet fire. As he nears the stage with his suit battered and ragged. A cultist tackled Jakob, barrel pressed on his forehead, he rolled to his left, smashes his elbow on the cultist's jaw and took the pistol. Unloading four bullets inside the cultist's head, he crawled up the stage, watching Gaul duel the full-metal suit with a vibrant blade. The guards place the Miss on near the raised podium, using their nanoweaved suit as shields before they go down with caved in bodies. The Miss's eyes widened as she looks to Jakob.
Making a beeline for the Miss, Jakob dodged a chainsaw coming for the head, and countered with his baton stabbing the decker cultist on the ear. Leaving the baton on the side of the cultist's head, he sprinted across the bodies, and slid passed the full-metal and then took a rifle on the side. Inhaling loudly, time seems to slow down as Jakob hears only his heartbeats, counting fifteen seconds in his head, he accurately shot all the attacking cultist, taking out twenty of them. After one hundred heartbeats, he froze for five seconds, and before a storm of bullets could tear apart his body, he dodged to the right, and this time, he slows his perception regularly, accepting ten heartbeats that at least would only cost him a second to freeze up.
Taking a cover on the raised podium, he gestured for a magazine in which a bodyguard willingly handed over. Focusing on covering for Gaul, he held down the cultists while the others fired back, courage igniting on them as Jakob guns down the cultists approaching them in waves.
Missiles fired towards them, forcing Jakob to shoot them down mid-air. Meanwhile, Gaul fought the full-metal unit, dodging left and right, slicing through the armor plating of the full-metal unit. Returning fire, Jakob heard an explosion coming from the side of the stadium, only for him to feel the dread pointed at them. Taller than a two-story building, a Talos Machina pointed its mechanical eyes on the stadium.
"Gaul!" Jakob roared. He sprinted to Gaul, took the vibrant blade of a bodyguard, avoided the blows of the full-metal suit with ten-second bullet time, and stabbed the vibrant blade on the pilot's cockpit, turning the full-metal exosuit as the Talos Machina fired thousands of rounds at the direction of the Miss, shredding the armor-plating of the full-metal exosuit like it was nothing.
It was not over as missiles fired towards them. Before the missiles could hit, Jakob and Gaul used the vibrant blades to slice the bullets into two. Jakob panted, spitting blood as he adjusted his bearing. Looking to his side, Gaul placed his body in front of the Miss, staring down the Talos Machina.
"Give me a weapon!" Jakob roared. A bodyguard threw his spare pistol at Jakob as he shots down the last of the missiles. Jakob felt like his head was going to explode by using the bullet time, forcibly slowing down his perception was giving serious headaches. But he had no time for that, not when he was facing against a Talos Machina.
The orbs of light hanging on the circular tower not far from where he was lighted Jakob's face. The veil of rain splits the lights. On the community, there was a group of people opening the hatches so that the floodwater whirls down the drain. From the second-floors of the buildings, there were men and women dressed in thick gray clothing.Jakob rested his back on the bench. He looked up. The flyers of Aured City numbered about hundreds a day. The city consumed fuel than any of the bastion cities. He had been ignorant of the world. Jakob did not have to know about the city. All he knows back then was how to survive a day outside of the city.Jakob clenched his fist. He had done something to change something. He did not know what it was that made things turned out this way, but he could not understand the empty feeling. The feelings he had while in battle were like momentary and fleeting."I really cannot do it," Jakob said. The rainwater was like spray hitting h
Jakob stood behind Helga. She wore a sharp business suit with a red tie. She had gloved her hands and tied her hair into a ponytail. She spoke to a man armed to the teeth. Though he looked intimidating, Helga did not show any stiffness or being overwhelmed. How could he, when Jakob was standing behind her with such an expression? The two talked for minutes. Helga shook the armored hand of the man and started strutting to the pad. The Karnifex was on the landing pad. Helga stood. She took out a cigarette from her pocket, lighting it up. She looked up at the Aured Sky."Just a drizzle of rain," Helga said.Jakob folded his armored arms. Helga snickered."You are getting used to that suit.""Hard to take it off when it seems like you are making use of me too much.""Can't help it, you are a good at what you do. Also, the Boss wants to personally make sure that my safety is secured."Jakob surveyed the area. The personnel from the buildin
Dona liked to mix drinks. She had become a better mixer than ever. It seems she had a natural talent. Helga had praised her drink, and when Jakob comes home, she would give him a stiff one that would ease his muscles. They had not done it for a long time, though she did not mind it. He was always full of thoughts and his mind would wander. Not that it matters to her as long as he comes home safe from his missions. He had become one of the terrifying people that Haven knew after his recent works, which made him quite an important person. Just by association, they treated her with respect. Dona knows she was riding on his coattails. It did not bother her that there are those who would call her hurtful words.Jakob was not someone who was a restricting person. For someone who started the relationship with cash, he was someone who did not bother too much about it. He was not a wasteful man. He was thrifty, and he liked to eat nutritional food with fondness. He acts like an
The event definitely took the attention of the people to the fields of Gharasu. The discovery of the cattle-human, and the appearance of the beluaman showed the world who the true enemy was again. They discovered the steelfort project hidden from Humanity. Leaders gathered to address the issue regarding the Project.Commander Stan Blackwells, accompanied by Anastasia and Karl arrived in the conference of leaders. Karl, the holder of the access key to the satellites around the world announced that he is siding with the Commander of Recon Korp. The move alongside the appearance of Commander Blackwell, supported by both human and etherian made the Leaders accept Commander Blackwells' status as one of the protectors of Aured City.As for where Sanctum and Haven stands in the issue, they answered by showing their neutrality in the matter. The first request that Karl made was to take back Gharasu and the steelfort. The government moved to prove that they are accommodating. T

The beluaman raises the ground, forcing Jakob to use the grappler stake to swing around the beluaman's attack, using the momentum created by the weight of the greatsword to hasten the swing. He turns around to smash the greatsword down on a 15m belua."Still alive, J," Helga called, "you are making Dona worry.""Got to buy time, Hel," Jakob flattened the greatsword to block a root spire. He grappled on the 15m belua, threw the greatsword, caught it, and pummeled a belua pouncing at him. Landing on top of a belua, he stabbed the greatsword's tip."Your suit is a mess," Helga said, "the amount of repairs it'll need is going to cost you. Nonetheless, the ether forge,
Her opinion towards humans were low. Anastasia will not work with these humans if she had the chance to do so. Blackwells changed her opinions of them. This time she had to admit. Humans were not as inferior as she thought. Their technology were keeping them alive. Even their medicine and drugs have started evolving. The suit this Outrider was wearing and the ability to lift her Blackwell's sword was enough to indicate.Still, it was odd in a sense that she did not see the usual side effects. He did not even take the usual syringes that one would take. Her and her Blackwells have been part of the many meetings and experiments. They share the burden of turning their fellow etherians into good soldiers. Therefore, she did not recognize any signs of modification other than the well-made exosuit. Deep in the swamp, hit by the rain, and surrounded. Anastasia kept her calm while pulling her Blackwells away. Blackwells conserved his energy. His eyes lacked light. There is an
