Be My Fiancé…

While Alexa was waiting for Ramon to finish whatever he was doing in the bathroom, she decided to call her cousin Andrea. Ever since they were little girls, they were always so close like two peas in a pod. They always told each other whatever was going on with their lives.

For example, when Andrea was kissed by a boy from school that she did not like, although it was on the cheek, she felt annoyed and violated like she had lost her virginity.

Even as adults, nothing has changed between them except for the fact that they now both have jobs, and they have grown up but not apart.

Andrea's phone rang a couple of times before she answered. "Hello! Where are you? Have you started having your dinner now? "

"No, not yet. Andrea, are you still in the hotel?" Alexa asked with curiosity in her tone.

"No, why? I just left, and I am on my way to my next appointment. What's up?" Andrea stated.

"Nothing much, I'm inside Ramon's hotel room and waiting for him to finish getting ready, so we can go out for dinner. What about you? What appointment do you have now?"

"Well, you know my boss, Miss Rita Robles of RRWP is currently working on a big project. She is in charge of the biggest wedding in the Country right now. I'm running around delivering wedding invitations personally to all the VIP guests of the wedding." Andrea said excitedly.

"Guess the VIP person that I had to deliver the wedding invitation to the hotel. Where you are right now!" Andrea couldn't help but let out a burst of laughter as she spoke.

"Who?" Alexa asked.

"Guess!" Andrea stated. 

"Andrea!!! I do not have all day to play games with you, not right now. Why don't you tell me and get it over with? Alright?" Alexa exclaimed loud enough for Ramon to hear as he came back to the living room looking all handsome.

"Girl, you are not fun anymore. Back in the day, whenever I asked you to guess, you loved it and would not stop until you guessed it correctly. Now, you only want the answer. Forget it, forget guessing. It's not important who. I do not think you need to know. What's up with you though?" Andrea asked in a concerned voice.

Alexa went into the details of how she bumped into Prince Alexander and Lady Antella. She told Andrea how the two of them were still standing outside of the door of Ramon's room. She did not understand why. She felt worried about not knowing why Prince Alexander showed up again and this time with that bitch, Lady Antella.

"I only have one conclusion regarding their actions. They are angry and want to get even with you. They probably will set you up and get you in trouble with the police then you will get arrested for kicking a Prince's butt. Andrea said chuckling. She was joking around not realizing she was scaring the heck out of Alexa.

"I do not understand what that perverted guy wants from me. The way he looked at me was creepy and made my skin crawl. Yikes!" She was brushing off the goosebumps that were sprouting on her other arm that was not busy.

"Nevertheless, I need to go. Ramon's ready. How about I text you the address of the place where we are going to have dinner, and if you find the time, stop by and we can continue this conversation, alright?" Alexa told Andrea nonchalantly without realizing that Ramon wasn't happy when he heard her invite Andrea again.

"Thank you for the invite, but I'm swamped right now. Maybe next time. Tell Ramon he owes me one. See ya!" Andrea hung up before Alexa was able to say goodbye.

Ramon who was listening to their conversation the whole time felt relieved that Andrea did not accept the invitation to join them for dinner. He needed to be alone with Alexa. He was running out of time. He needed to know if she would agree to become his fiancé…

"Are you ready? I found a famous restaurant that I think you will enjoy. Let us get out of here." Ramon said with anxiousness in his voice. He was worried that if they prolong dinner any longer, Alexa might change her mind, and he was not allowing that to happen.

Alexa was still pulling the hem of her tight-fitting dress. "Ramon, I think we might have to cancel our dinner. I can't go out with this skimpy dress, and I left the one I was wearing earlier at Ms. Garcia's suite." She looks at him straight in his eyes apologetically.

Ramon was speechless. He knew that this would happen. 'What do I do now?' He asked himself. He had to think of something, and they cannot cancel dinner, if they do that, then he's in trouble. His mother warned him that if he does not introduce a girlfriend to them soon, he would be in deep shit, and a random woman would become his fiancee right away.

Ramon was about to refuse Alexa's cancelation, but he did not have a chance. Alexa got up and straightened herself, dusted off a speck of imaginary dust from her skimpy dress. "Let us go anyway! Who cares what I look like right now? The most important thing is my stomach, and I am starving."

Ramon's face lit up like a light bulb. His prayer was answered. God took care of his poor soul. "Let us go then! I am sure you will love this place. It is all you can eat.." Ramon proudly announces.

"Eh? You are taking this beautiful body of mine to an all you can eat buffet!" Alexa exclaimed, with her eyes blazing in contempt at poor Ramon who was clueless about what he needed to do.

"I'm sorry, I thought you said your starving, The best place to eat when you are starving would be that type of restaurant, but if you don't want to go, then we could go on the original one that I planned to go to." Ramon apologetically said with disappointment on his face.

Alexa realized how proud she has been acting. Here is a guy who she has not seen in a long time trying to do his best to accommodate her, and she's acting like a selfish child. She produces the sweetest smile that she could make while giving him a dewy eye, "I'm sorry...Please, forgive me! I am a brat, and it is because I'm exhausted and starving.

Ramon has a half-smile on his face as he grabs the key for the room and walks towards the door to leave. "Let us get out of here before we start crying our eyes out! 

Alexa gathered her purse, cell phone, and followed Ramon, but as he is about to open the door. Alexa shouts, "Stop!" Ramon froze and looked at her and asked. "Why? Did you forget something?" while his hand was still on the doorknob.
