Chapter 13 - A Son is A Thief

"So, she was sent from Turner Company."

Blade nodded and explained, "Yes, Young Master. Turner Company is our rival in our new project. Maybe, they sent her to get some information about that project so they could steal it or copy it. But, this is still my opinion because I haven't got any proof of her motive."

"Well, anything about her is annoying. Find that proof and deal with her immediately." Said Dave with a cold voice.

"As you wish, Young Master."

Before Blade reaches the door, Dave called him again, "Right, Blade. This afternoon, there are some seniors in my school that want some beating. Try to deal with them, too."

"Yes, Young Master."

By the time the conversation end, Blade got out of the door. Dave wanted to work for more but couldn't get his attention to it. So, he took his phone and read his messages with his angel before.

Dave hesitated to send her message yet he typed it, 'Are you asleep?'

No, isn't this too casual and short? He should type more but before he could click the delete button, his thumb accidentally clicks the send button.

He was shocked until he stood up from his chair and repeatedly saw the same sight. It was his 'are you asleep?' and she actually read it.

No, no, no. Dave tried to calm himself down. Before he could send other messages, his phone rang and he saw her reply.

It was a sticker of a girl shook her head and she added, 'Not yet. How about you?'

"Thank god, she didn't think that was a weird short, and too casual text." Dave sat back on his chair. "I should reply to her first."

'Me too. Have you eaten yet?'

Not long after he sent it, she immediately replies. 'I have. My brother made the dish and it was super delicious.'

"So, she has a brother." Dave muttered before his fingers typed a reply.

'What kind of dish is that?'

'Pasta and some salad.'

'What a coincidence. I like pasta too.'

'Well, I didn't ask anything.'

Dave let out a laugh. Without he realized, she really brought colors to his life. The dull life he felt suddenly become worth living. Because, if he didn't live a life like this, he could never meet with his angel.

After chatting for a long time, he looked at the documents on his desk and suddenly it becomes so easy to resolve.

'Was this case so easy before?' he thought.

He found himself enjoying the time he spent with Elena more than he thought it would. Unexpectedly, the day passed quickly and he found himself in his room, looking at his appearance.

He found no acne and his face was alright. His uniform was also neatly worn and he soon ready to go to school. He looked at himself once more to found that his bangs slightly messy.

"Dave, how long do you intend to be in your room? Look at the time, please!" His mother shouted outside his room. He quickly took his bag and went down to the dining room.

"Good morning, beautiful madam." Dave gave his mom a hug before pecked her cheek.

"Good morning to you too, my beloved prince." said her mother. After gave her son a hug, she glanced at her son's appearance. Nothing seems weird but somehow, something was different.

"Do you have something today?" asked Elia.

"Hm... No, why?"

Elia cupped her son's face and answered, "I think you look more handsome today."

Dave was smiling ear to ear and thought to himself proudly, 'Elena must be a crazy girl if she's not falling in love with me."

"Look at this sight! Elia, you don't love me anymore, don't you?"

Dave and Elia turned their head and saw Lucas stomped his foot, walking closer to them. They could see how Lucas pouting his lips and his aura darkened.

He snatched his wife, looking so pitiful like some dog that has been abandoned. No one in the world except god and herself knew how much she was sick with this guy. Years after years, as he grew old, he turned more childlike, clingy, and possessive guy.

"Dad, are you a child? Mom is just looking after me, you know?" Dave sighed while sat on the chair. He looked at the breakfast menu and his stomach was growling.

"Humph... What do you know?" Lucas then hugged Elia and sprayed his cologne on her. "Now, all trace of men is gone."

Elia snapped and gave Lucas a beating. Her face was red. She felt embarrassed. How did her husband become like this?

"Aw... Aw... Honey, stop! You hurts me!" Lucas yelled and avoided Elia.

"You... How dare you treat me like this? How many did i tell you that he is our son!"

"Humph... I don't care! He is still a men. That's why i told you daughter is the best. A son is a thief!"

Dave unbelievably glanced at his father. A thief? Seriously? He didn't know that his father EQ could be this low.

Dave could only take his bread and gave a jam on it, then he he said to his parents, "Maybe I should go to the school now. Later!"

Dave sighed at the sight of his parents. He decided no to go with his motorcycle since he needed to go to the company after school. So, he called Blade to prepare the car.

As soon as he reached the school lobby, every girl stared at him. Some of them screaming loudly while the others only gave his an admiral gaze. Dave didn't gave a damn about them, so he ignored them and walked into his class.

Now, what lunch did he should buy for Elena? He thought meat is good since she was to skinny. Should he buy a vegetable soup? Did she like spicy food? Thinking through this, Dave realized that he didn't know anything about Elena Heath. Lunch break, please come as soon as you can.

While sitting on his chair, Dave heard some whispering from his classmates.

"Hey, did you know Elena Heath?"

Hm, they were talking about his girl?

"Who's that?"

"She is a student in here and I heard some rumours about her."

"What rumors?"

"Apparently, she was selling herself for a cash and yesterday my friend told me that a men pick her up!"
