Se connecterThe wolf had shown Katalin so much that night. He had gave her so many questions that she needed answered. She didn't want to leave him but she knew that she had to. When the humans came for him, she would be forced to fight with him. If she shed human blood, she wouldn't be able to control the monster in herself. It would do something to her that she would never forget. She had only killed one human ever... her own mother. Her hands were clean of honest and good people. Her mother never fit in that category for all that she could remember. Even if she stayed and didn't kill the humans, they would run her out of town for helping the wolf that they considered a beast.&nb
It was almost midnight. She needed to come for him. Time was running out. He let a loud howl burst from his chest. He grinned to himself. He knew the race was on. She was coming for him tonight. He had left her guessing for too long, and as far as he could tell, she was an impatient person. This would be fun. He had been waiting for this day for a long time. He had been waiting for her since he had heard her prophecy and knew his fate.He ran to the west and stopped. He pointed his wolf ears and listened. Many creatures could hear a
Before long, they were arriving back into town and the sheriff parked back in his designated spot of the police department parking lot. He waved Katalin and Thomas on to the diner as he hurried into the building.Katalin grabbed her Molly pack out of the back seat of the jeep and began to head to the diner. It was already 2 in the day and the lunch crowd had done came and gone. Thomas followed close beside her and opened the door for her.'This courtesy thing is getting rather annoying.' Katalin thought to herself. She wasn't the same girl she was as a human. She had hardened herself to feelings and care. This was just not acceptable. He was only acting this way because of the pheromones that her killer inside put off. It made it hard to care for anyone when you knew that 1.) you could kill them just from lack of control and 2.) that they only thought they cared but really it was the attraction of the beast that made them that way.
As the dust cloud settled from Jimbo’s rash take off, Katalin and Deputy James chuckled at Harold’s intolerance for the boy. Mr. Billings just nodded in agreement.James climbed in the back of Harold's Jeep. Mr. Billings waved bye and took off in a much slower pace than Jimbo. Katalin followed suit and pulled herself into the passenger's seat of Harold's Jeep and Harold opened the door and crawled behind the steering wheel."Shot gun!" Katalin said playfully."Sherriff, I think you're rubbing off on the poor girl!" James said with a chuckle."Ahh well, everyone needs a sense of humor sometimes." Harold replied as he started the SUV up. "Now young lady, about this staying in the woods... I really must protest to that. If them boys are telling the truth, these woods could be in bad danger.""I've done explained that I'm sure I will be okay. I really must go check my camp. If that thi
The burly, brown headed man bust through the door. His breathing was heavy and his thoughts where running wild. It was written all over his face. She recognized him instantly. The little girl's daddy Jimbo from the woods..."Sherriff, I need ya. Come on, I need ya now!"Harold stood up and she looked up at him."I hadn't realized you were the Sherriff," she exclaimed quietly."Jimbo, Come over here for a minute and calm down," Harold said."There ain't no time sir. Come on!""Now Jimbo, I ain't going anywhere with you until you come over here and tell me what is going on. I'm half way through my breakfast." Harold explained.Jimbo scowled his ruggedly handsome face and walked over to the table. He looked at Katalin with puzzlement."Cain't we talk on the way. This is important Sherrif. Dwayne's missin'. Plus, I don't wanna scare th
Katalin awoke as suddenly as she had drifted off to sleep by the dripping of water on her face. Her little cave haven had sprung a little leak. It must have rained in the night. She was glad it had. The leak had woke her up before sunrise and the smell of wolf was still present in the cave. It flooded her mind that she needed to get out of here soon.It didn't matter though. She didn't want to be here anymore. The dreams had ruined it all for her. The dreams always ruined it. It reminded her of too much she despised. It reminded her that she was still running from her father. She knew little of him. Only what dreams brought back to her memory and that was only three specific memories that she had. The two memories from the beginning of the dream she had that night and another dream about the night that she fully turned. She didn't know why she was running from him or who he really was because these dreams were all she had and they always showed kindness in
