Mag-log inTo look at beautiful, confident, eighteen-year-old warrior, Bellamy Carrington, one would never expect the dark tragedies that had formed her. The blood spilled, the lives lost, the pain and hopelessness that shaped her childhood. Orphaned at six, the young rogue born alpha vowed vengeance on the men who took her parents from her. The men who stole happiness and love from her life. And she succeeded. Training under the tutelage of vampires, witches, rogue wolves, and other shapeshifters, for six years; Bellamy became a deadly and formidable force in the supernatural world. But, no one's perfect. After killing the hunters, she was captured by a dark witch. Beaten, poisoned, collared in silver, and slated for sacrifice in one of the witch's spells. Bellamy made one last push for life and escaped. She was hopelessly lost, in pain, weak, and broken in so many ways. Bellamy gave up. She decided her death would be on her own terms. Fate had other ideas. A young future pack Alpha found her, half-drowned, in a pond and saved her life. He didn't care that she was a rogue. Warrick of the Hunter's Moon Pack only cared about preserving the life of the little girl. Warrick helped her find the life she deserved. He found her an adoptive family and became a true and compassionate friend to her. Valuing her strengths and supporting her completely. Bellamy found new purpose, new hope, and a new life. All she was missing was what she saw her friends and pack mates finding every day. Love, a mate, someone to be entirely hers. She never thought she'd find a male worth offering for, until she allowed herself to be taken captive by vampires. When she met the man who could change everything. The other half of her broken heart.

When the elevator doors closed, Lucien leaned down and kissed me gently.“I don’t know that I have the energy to properly worship you, chouchoutte. This has been a long day.” He murmured.“There’s always tomorrow, my love. I figured the walk would probably wipe you out, so I’m not disappointed. I really didn’t intend to tell your friend, though.”“I got possessive. You know how Alphas are. You never told me someone else had a claim on you, chouchoutte.” He chuckled.
I nodded to Kieran.‘Have her come in for a report.’‘Got it, Amy.’“I was going to call her later. You know how girls are, she’ll go on about things that are important to her, but not important in general. It might be a good idea to get it out of the way, then I can relax.” Kieran chuckled.I tried not to laugh. Cara and I had gotten good at reporting to each other and our parents without seeming like we were doing anything. The way we did it made it seem like we were talking about inane things.
[Bellamy]“There’s a problem at Lune Rouge? I need to get home.” Lucien whispered, looking up where Dilly had disappeared. He was already gone, but Lucien wouldn’t be able to track him.“Let’s go to the pack house and see what we can find out. Maybe they just realized you were gone sooner than you thought they would.” I took his hand and led him to the guard house.I went in and grabbed my phone and the keys to the car. I dug through the bins and found a large shirt that looked like it would fit Lucien and some sunglasses. He put them on while grumbling about needing to go home.‘Kieran,
We spent the next couple hours going over our exact plan. He told me what he was doing in the area. Every year, he took a week long sabbatical in his cabin. It was off his pack’s land and it gave him a little break from his duties as Alpha. Only his Beta and Gamma knew where it was. He’d heard a child crying while he was headed there and fell into the vampires’ trap.“It sounds like they knew what they were doing and where they should be, Lucien. Is it possible your Beta or Gamma set this up?” I asked.“No, Robert and Thierry wouldn’t do that. If they were unhappy about something, they would’ve talked to me. I’m a fairly reasonable man, when I’m not a prisoner.” He chuckled.
