Chapter-6 Special

Marina was pacing in the hall waiting for them to come. Soon she heard Camilla calling out for her. Camilla huggedMarina,"Granny....Granny....
you have no idea. How happy I'm. Gabi, is so beautiful and so kind. I love her granny. She is so adorable. I wish I can be like her."

Marina eyes welled up listening to Gabi's name. It has been years and she has talked to her. 
"You know what granny....she gave me her new mobile.  Now, we will also make tick tock videos, become famous and rich." Camilla showed her the new mobile. Both Marina and Isabella smiled looking at her cute antics. 
Marina patted her head, "What else happens?"

"Gabi missed mom. I told Daddy that I love him. And he said he also loved me." At this moment Marina narrowed her eyes at her, as she knew Robert will never say that. Marina tries to know the more details but Camilla was busy in her new phone exploring apps.

"God! Granny... You are too much. Daddy said he loves me. You know, I first time met Gabi and she called me big girl. And here you are treating me as a child. She instantly recognized I'm a big girl, who understands everything." After stating this, Camilla looked at her granny and asked,"granny I'm confused. Whom shall I love more? Gabi or Daddy?"

Marina scoffed, and made her sit on her lap,"simple, you can love them both equally. Just like you love me and your mother."

"Oh! But granny who said I love you. I only love Mumy, Daddy and Gabi. You are not in the list. "

Marina rolled her eyes,"Cami, do you want to die from my hands." Camilla shook her head at this.

"Good, then shut your mouth."

Camilla giggled and kissed Marina,"Granny, don't worry. I love you also. Though you are last in the list. But you should be glad that you made it in the list. It's very difficult to get in my list. Start making tasty food and maybe you'll jump one number up."

And soon she received a smack on her head. Camilla said her goodbye and went towards her room. Marina saw her retreating figure, and sighed thinking,"did Robert say he misses her or love her?"

Camilla, is a child who loves her father very much. Even more than her mother. She always imagined Robert telling her that he misses her, loves her adores her. So, when Robert didn't say that he loves her. She imagined the answer, she was yearning to hear. After all she is a daddy's girl.

Camilla called David and tells him about everything. "Why did he ask me not to call him dad? Gabi, is cool. Daddy is handsome but...I don't know... What do you think?"

"You are so dumb. It's a guy thing."

"What guy thing?"

"Dumbo! It's clear he got irritated. Guys don't like girls who talks a lot. Once you start speaking, no one can shut your mouth. Maybe you must have done something so he got irritated. Like you always irritates me. And guys don't like cards or chocolates. It's too girly. That's why, he got pissed."

Camilla was listening to everything very keenly and nodded her head."So, what does a guy likes? Shall I purchase teddy for Daddy? I want to be a good daughter to him. I can't believe I'm so stupid. Hope, he is not mad at me anymore. I'll do one thing. I'll call him."
"No, purchase, bikes, trucks, cars for him. Guys like this. He'll be happy. For now, just drop a text message."

"But, I don't have money to purchase toys. Did you forget I recently became poor? I can buy ice-creams for him."

"Oh! Yeah, I forgot you are poor now. How does it feel to be poor?"

"It's horrible David. Never become poor. Mumy is struggling to provide things. I have to sacrifice my Saturday's pizza. I miss eating pizza."

"Oh God,it's terrible being poor. I can't live without pizza. I will never be poor. By the way mom is calling me. I have to go. But remember, I need your sisters number. Tell her, I'm handsome. Tell her to talk to me. Ok, bye. Good night."

Camilla stared at the ceiling and think about what David said. She took out her mobile and send a text message to Robert,"Love you Daddy☺"
Soon, she received a text message from him,"love you too princess☺" Camilla instantly sat down and hugged her mobile. She didn't realise, when tears started spilling out of her eyes. She closed her eyes and went into the deep slumber whispering,"love you Daddy."

Camilla, was admiring her new school. "Mummy, it's so big. Like they show in movies." 
"Cam, behave. Remember, don't talk too much. And please, I'm begging you to not ask your classmates to do your homework. It's not like your previous school where you can boss around."

Camilla, just nodding her head. When she noticed Limo and saw Gabi, coming out of it.

"Wow, she has her own car. "

She called Gabi's name, but due to headphones, she wasn't able to notice them.

As soon as she entered in School premises, Some noticed Camilla, some ignored her and some whispered looking at her.

Camilla, as usual, she smiled and confidently moves towards her classroom. All this time she was thinking that the people were praising her for being special.

Teacher made her stand with 5 new students and ask them to introduce themselves to class in one minute. Camilla was the last. When her turn came, she started introducing herself.

Teacher looked at her and she was constantly speaking for 5minutes. 
"So, I was saying....we recently became poorrrr"

"Ok, sweety. That's it. We got it."

"But Mam, It's only one-fourth of my introduction. I haven't completed it. Just give me half an hour. I haven't told them about my previous school, David."

"Sweety, that's it. "   Teacher looked at the class and asked them who is going to show her around the school. When none of them raised their hands. Camilla pouted, and whispered in her teachers ear. "See, I told you. If you have let me complete my introduction, they would have become my fan by now. Shall I continue to introduce myself again. "

"NO...., just wait a minute."

"Becca, help her. And in return I'll give you 10points. "

Camilla, sit beside Becca. After the class, Becca reluctantly show her around the school. Camilla didn't get time to interact with girls as they were having back to back classes. Bell rang indicating it was lunch time. She came into cafeteria and saw all the benches were filled with other girls and boys.  Becca pointed at one bench and informed her that she can have lunch there.

"Why? Why there? Those people are not in my class."

"Look, I have to go, my friends are waiting. And as you said you are very special, that bench is for special students. Just go, or  find other place."

Camilla, went there and looked at the 2boys and 2,girls. She kept her tray there and sat. They all looked at her. She also stared them trying to know what's so special about them.

"So, how you guys are special?"

"Are you making fun of us by calling special? When you are also one of us." Said Kathy

When Camilla didn't get it what they are saying, so they informed her that she is sitting with,'Freak club."

"What? Freak Club? But I was told it's a special students club."

"Who told you that you are special? " asked Ian

"Granny"

"Wow, I can't believe she is a topper. Don't you know every kid is special for their parents. How stupid you are?" Commented Enzo.

Camilla didn't get it. She didn't even like them. So she stood up,took her tray and went from there.

She was looking for new place when she noticed Gabi and her friends. And then she shouted her name and all students got stiffen. She ran up to her,"hi, Gabi. How are you?"

Gabriella's eyes got widen listening her name so casually. She looked around and noticed her friends, who were clearly disgusted by Camilla as she is standing beside them.

"Cam, what are you doing here? You should be with your friends eating lunch. "

"Gabi, todays my first day. I'll have lunch with you today. " saying this she kept her tray on the table. She was about to sit, when Gabrielle stood up,"NO....I mean you can't sit here. As you have not earned your place to sit with my friends. You can sit with those students" Gabrielle pointed towards 'freak Club 'students.

"Earn? how much I have to pay you to sit with you and your friends?" 
Gabi, rolled her eyes at this statement whereas her friends laugh at her.

"Cami, listen. You can't sit with us. My friends don't know you. You have to earn their respect, trust. And it takes time. So, go now."

"Introduce me then. Shall I gave them my introduction? Class teacher don't let me complete my introduction, that's why I wasn't able to make friends. I have praticed a lot yesterday. What do you think?"

"No, they all know you are my sister. Look, I'll talk to you after school. Ok?"

Camilla looked at Gabi, who was desperately trying to get rid of her right now. Camilla nodded her head, "ok, Gabi, I love you."

She stood there waiting for the answer, but Gabi didn't say she also loves her. Gabriella just nodded her head.

Camilla sadly smiled, and went from there. She again went back where 'Freak Club" was sitting.

She kept her tray and start eating. They also ignored her and she also ignored them. But soon a girl came there asking them,"hey guys, now I'm wearing heels. What do you think?"

Camilla noticed a very little girl, and without thinking she blurted out, 
" small kids are not supposed to sit here. Go and sit with your 2nd grade students."

All of them stopped eating and glared Camilla.

"What?"

Before they can make her understand anything. Someone yelled "hey, dwarfy has wear heels. Look at her." And all students started laughing at that girl, except Camilla and the freak club. 
And then Camilla understood, that girl is suffering from dwarfism.

That guy came and picked that girl, and made her sit on her chair."All you have to do is ask, we will pick you up. Aww, sometimes I think how do you pee. Do you need my help in picking you and made you sit there."

The girl eyes welled up, but she knows better to keep her mouth shut.
Camilla eyes widened listening to this, but also noticed all the members of the freak club have kept their mouth shut. And they all are uncomfortable with his presence. 
Camilla looked at the girl who was sniffing, and take out her handkerchief and gave it to her.

And then she looked at that boy, "my mother always say, some people have small thinking. I can't believe your heart and thinking is so small compared to her height. So, technically she is big. And don't need your support. So, back off now."

"And, who are you? Oh my God, you look so ugly. What happened to you?"mocked Eric, looking at her with disgust.

No, one has called Camilla 'Ugly'. This word disturbed her so much. But she didn't lose her calm, and retorted back," I'm special. And look at you, you are ugly. Have you seen mirror? Monkeys look more smart than you. "

Everyone start laughing at Eric, listening to Camilla's comment. Eric is a handsome boy, who tease others. But the girl standing in front of him just compared him to monkey.

He was about to lash out on her but noticed a teacher coming there, so, he decided to teach her lesson afterwards. When he turned around and about to leave, Camilla tripped him with her leg. He fell down and his face got stuck in dustbin, which was lying there.

Everyone was laughing at him. Whole school was laughing at him. This time the freak club were also laughing. 
Kathy looked at Camilla and said,"I like you."

"Of course you will like me. I 'm very special." Said Camilla.

Enzo  rolled his eyes,"here, we go again with her special word."

They all introduced themselves to her, Enzo is suffering from Down syndrome. Ian, has tourette syndrome and he is black. Kathy belongs from poor class family and Lisa has dwarfism. That's why they all are called freak club. They all are outcast from their school. And Camilla introduce herself as special, and instantly become leader of that freak club.
