2020-05-17 09:53:11I walked into the tuition room and noticed my new teacher was there. His back was facing me, and he was writing his name on the board. Liam Winters. I walked to my usual spot and put my stuff down, sitting on my chair.
He must have not noticed me, since when he turned around, he jumped, cursing quietly. He was younger than I expected, in fact he looked around my age. Mia was right, he is pretty handsome.
He had a mixture of blonde and brown hair, and his eyes were light brown, a couple of cute light freckles traveled between his cheeks and nose. My tutor stood there speechless as he looked at me. Quickly, he cleared his throat and blushed with a shy smile.
"Sorry, I didn't hear you come in," he smiled apologetically. I liked his voice, it was sweet and tender. I couldn't help but to smile back. "I'm your Spanish tutor, Liam Winters."
"I'm Chloe," I said looking away. God when did the room get so hot? "But I'm sure you already knew that."
"Yea," he chuckled. "It's nice meeting you."
I nodded and we didn't say anything for a minute. I looked up to him, "So, Spanish."
"Right, right!" He blushed and smiled. "Spanish," he repeated and started writing something on the board.
"This is the pronunciation of the vowels. We can start with that, and then I'll teach you how to introduce yourself," he said, pointing at the board.
We went through the pronunciations a couple of times till I mastered them. After learning 5 different languages, it wasn't hard for me to pick up most pronunciations. As the class continued, I noticed that he grew more confident than when we met a couple of minutes ago. I liked that.
"Mi nombre es Liam Winters, ¿cómo te llamas tú?" He smiled as he saw my confusion. "That means, my name is Liam Winters, what's your name?"
"Oh," I smiled. "Mi nombre es Chloe Lattimore," I said in a tone of question, his smile widened.
"That's correct!" He said happily. "I'm surprised, that pronunciation was perfect."
I blushed, "I am a fast learner," I grinned.
We went through some basic phrases and before I even knew It, the class was over. I was surprised two hours went by so quickly. I stood up and walked towards the door, but stopped myself and turned to my tutor, "Hey, Mr. Winters?"
"Yes, your highness?" He replied, looking up at me.
"Aren't you too young to be my tutor?" I chuckled and he raised his eyebrows. I could see a flicker of disappointment in his eyes.
"Well," He cleared his throat looking down, "if you want to change tutors I can give you the-"
I interrupted him before he could continue, "No, no it's not that, I do want you as my tutor," I smiled, seeing as he looked up at me, surprised. "It's just, you look my age and I was wondering how a teenager could be tutoring Spanish instead of doing anything else."
"It's quite simple really, my mother is from El Carrusel." El Carrusel was a Spanish speaking kingdom, located in the south side of the American continent. "And she taught me and my sisters Spanish," he continued, "besides, I do love teaching and when the opportunity came, I just couldn't say no."
I nodded, "Well it was nice meeting you, Mr. Winters," I said as I walked back to the door. "I'll see you tomorrow at 3."

I sighed as I stared at my corset, it was 5 pm already, and I had to get into my corset if I wanted to wear my light blue gown. It had little sequences on the top part, creating a V shape with tiny diamonds and strings, as it went down, it got bigger and puffier. I loved a puffy dress. In the skirt part, it had breathtaking patterns, traced with some sparkly white thread.
