On Dongwen Kingdom's prosperous imperial streets, the people were well-ordered and stood on both side of the road, cheering in praise of the victorious return of the great General Chen Lei.

This Chen Lei was considered as one of Dongwen's legends, he guarded the border for several years so that the neighboring countries would not dare to invade. Also, not long ago with one swoop, he turned four countries into Dongwen's subordinates. Hearing of this matter, His Majesty was extremely pleased.

not only moving Chen Lei back to the Imperial City to receive commendations but also give a blank edict, it is the equivalent of his Majesty's promise to fulfill one request of any kind.

However, after victoriously coming back, the Great General Chen Lei did not attend the court meeting to see the Emperor but rushed back to the Prime Minister's Estate instead.

Following behind him, the soldiers were all silent. Nobody was clearer than them about why General Chen Lei was anxious to return home! all of these could be attributed to the eldest miss of Chen Clan

It was said that while Great General Chen Lei was guarding the border, that trash provoked an enormous amount of trouble. her typical arrogant, domineering, rampant, and overbearing personality could be over looked but she recently made her suppose fiance the Crown Prince to cancel his engagement with her.

And she tried to commit suicide. The Great General also heard she was being bullied by her siblings and step mother which was ignored by her father.

Chen Mulan woke up and found Chen Tianyao nowhere, she called Liu to prepare her bath. Liu came running and informed Chen Mulan that her Grandfather was looking her, Chen Mulan raised her eyebrow, what she could remember from the so-called Grandfather was that he is a Great General and he left when Chen Mulan was just three. According to the original Chen Mulan's memories, this grandfather dotes on her more than anybody.

Chen Mulan smiled, ''Liu, get me dressed, let meet this so-called grandfather.''

Reaching the Main house, from a distance, Chen Mulan could hear two voice, the first voice belonged to  an unknown person and according to her memory the other voice belonged to her father. She waited and listened to what they were talking about.

''What kind of a father are you? how can you dote on other children born of concubines but neglect your daughter born of the main wife. Mulan being a trash is not her choice but the heavens, You even let your precious daughter to steal her sister's husband to be.'' 

''Father, you just came back from war and you rushed here instead of settling down to relax just for that trash? you even ignored the genius of our Estate but worry about a trash, i'm not the one who made the Crown Prince to realized he's going to marry a trash that can't be helpful to him or the country when he..........'' Before the Prime Minister could finish he was slapped by the Great General Chen Lei and he coughed out a mouthful of blood.

The Great General Chen Lei shook his head ''I really failed as a father, and that's regretful but i won't fail as a grandfather so i have decided to take Mulan with me and live in my General estate.''

 Prime Minister Chen was scared, not because a precious daughter was about to be taken from him but his plan of marrying Chen Mulan to a rich man to enjoy more wealth was being taken from him but then he remembered something and smirk. ''Father, Mulan won't agree to your request, she rejected you once she can do it again. How about taking Fang with you? She is special and won't cause you any shame.''

Chen Fang eyes brighten and she smiled but the Great General Chen Lei knows his granddaughter more than anyone. Although she appeared sweet and innocent, he knows she is a dangerous vixen, after all she was also the one who stoles Chen Mulan's future husband. ''I want to be shamed, i like being shamed so i'm taking Mulan with me.

''But father Mulan doesn't want to......'' Before the Prime Minister would finish a voice interrupted him.

''I will go with the old man'' Chen Mulan who doesn't want to hear more of their argument came out with a smile so seductive.

 Prime Minister Chen turned and saw a young girl who was clothed in white looking like a goddess that came to control mankind, her looks will put a lot of countries and kings in danger if groom well but it's a shame that she is nothing but a trash. The Prime Minister Chen looked at Chen Fang and smiled, although Chen Fang is not as beautiful as Chen Mulan, she was also beautiful and talented.

Great General Chen Lei turned and saw a young girl clothed in white, he couldn't help it anymore and cried, especially by looking at her face that resembled her mother so much, he cried because he thought that he failed ''Girl, I'm your grandfather and your should address me as one.''

Chen Mulan rolled her eyes''i'm going to pack.'' She turned and wanted to go towards her room but a voice stopped her. 

''Mulan if you leave this estate then we are no longer family.''  Prime Minister Chen smiled because he knew how well Chen Mulan loves him and can never leave his estate, this was also the means he used in the past to stop her from leaving so he can avoid any stain on his reputation. He was still waiting for Chen Mulan to cry and say she wasn't going anymore but her calm voice and single word left him speechless.

''Ok.''

Ok? Prime minister Chen was surprised. '' You, you. fine Go and don't come back to beg me take you in.'' he left in anger.

 Great General Chen Lei was also surprised but he was also happy.

Chen Fang was fuming with anger but continued smiling not to show her true self in front of her grandfather.

''hahahaha, Silly girl you can Choose any room you like and feel at home, this is also your home.'' Great General Chen Lei brought out a key and handed them to Chen Mulan ''girl this is the key to the safe, you can spend any amount you want and don't worry about it finishing, its all yours.''

Chen Mulan eyes flashed and she collected the key while smiling ''ok''

''Girl, make yourself comfortable, i'm going to meet the emperor now.''

At night Chen Mulan was called to eat dinner but she told the maid to inform her grandfather that she was busy. Chen Tianyao came in to warm her bed and when asked where he was his short reply was: ''Learning.'' Chen Mulan rolled her eyes and slept off.
