CLICHE....

"Rose, it is done. Do you need my help to wear the other accessories or you will manage it yourself" Selena asked in a warm and doubtful tone.

"I will manage it myself Mum, you should also go and get ready for the night" Evelina said in an assuring way.

Selena nodded and then smiled warmly at Evelina before heading out of the door with a final glance at Evelina. After Selena left Evelina looked at the remaining accessories left to be adorned on her and sighed heavily.

There were four pieces of jewellery designed to be compatible with the tiara and gown. They were a beautiful black sapphire choker in a leaf design and dangler earrings matching the neck piece, to complete it there was a black sapphire bracelet and watch with it.

After wearing it one by one and double checking that they were secured properly, Evelina's eyes landed on another velvet box near the mirror. She opened it and found her guess to be right, inside were black platform heels with white crystals embedded in it.

She sighed at the height of the heels, it was minimum four-inches high. She wore it and secured the strap properly and made sure it would not come out even when yanked softly. She then did a light make-up and applied light greyish eyeshadow which complimented her well.

After she was done, she stood up and looked at her reflection in the complete body mirror. She nodded in satisfaction and then exited the closet to find her door opening. Lauren and Sam entered her room and were stunned at her sight.

"Wowwww...." Lauren could only manage to bring out this one word as he was dumbstruck because of his sister's appearance. Sam was dumbfounded as he was standing like a statue, Evelina shook her head at their reactions and snapped her fingers in front of them bringing them back to earth.

"Well....I knew that my sister was beautiful as she inherited my genes but I did not know she was so beautiful" Sam quoted in a serious tone making Lauren roll his eyes in annoyance and Evelina was speechless at her older brother's shamelessness.

"Sam, how about you simultaneously stop praising yourself, she is so beautiful because of Mum and Dad. You have no contribution in it" Lauren chided Sam in an annoyed and frustrated tone.

Sam scoffed and rolled his eyes, while Lauren was about to lose his cool with his annoying older brother. Evelina seeing her two bickering siblings could not help but chuckle helplessly at their childish attitude.

"You two are here for a reason or are here just to bicker like small kids" Evelina asked helplessly as she sighed and looked at them casually.

"No, well we are here to take you out. The guests are here, so Dad asked you to go out as it will be easier to introduce you to the people we are close to before the common announcement" Sam said in a comparatively serious tone.

Lauren nodded in agreement with Sam and Evelina also nodded in understanding. Lauren and Sam then offered their hand for Evelina to hold on. The scene was too cliche for Evelina to bear, she simply stepped back refusing their hand making them frown in confusion.

"I would love to walk independently, holding your hands to walk will either look like I am too shy or I don't know how to walk properly" Evelina said before either of her siblings could question her for her refusal of their offered hand.

Sam and Lauren realised how cheeky it looked, then chuckled in amusement as they realised their own cheekiness and felt odd about it. They nodded in agreement and walked towards the door first, they then exited first and Evelina followed them out.

They took the central staircase which led them to the first floor foyer where many of the wizards and witches were present. They were about to land when both the boys realised something and held Evelina's hand as they took her back to the side staircase.

"What are you two doing, where are you dragging me to" Evelina asked in a confused and annoyed tone.

Sam and Lauren were silent and blatantly ignored her questions annoying Evelina even more. She masked her displeased explanation quickly and looked at her brothers with an expressionless and cold face.

Sam and Lauren realised the sudden drop in the temperature and looked at Evelina who looked at them indifferently and coldly. They realised their fault as they knew Evelina never liked to be dragged somewhere without informing her.

"We are going to the terrace first as the Wizarding families will arrive their first and then proceed downstairs to the first floor foyer" Sam said in a calm and coaxing tone as he tried to pacify Evelina's coldness.

"So we are going there first to welcome them, to be specific the Potters, Weasleys and Longbottoms as it is almost time for their arrival. Dad is already there as we are only close to them and Mum will be there shortly" Lauren completed the explanation for his brother.

Evelina nodded in understanding and then her brothers released her hand which was held by them while they were dragging her with them. Evelina then followed her brothers slowly behind them as she was walking slowly while making sure she won't step on her gown and trip on it.

They reached terrace and entered it through the entrance door, Sam and Lauren walked quickly when they found their friends. Whereas Evelina was walking slowly and elegantly while lifting her gown properly and watching her steps carefully.

She stepped into the terrace and immediately was pushed down by something heavy, to be exact a person. Evelina crashed on her back, if not for the fur carpeting she would have been hurt very badly.

Her eyes widened in shock when her lips grazed with another, which seemed a bit rough and thin. Her turquoise eyes clashed with hazel ones, both the eyes held shock and surprise in them. The two people were shell-shocked and dumbstruck beyond comprehension.
