LOGINHis expressions are telling me, he is ready to kill anyone, right now. Okay, more precisely, me. But that's alright, as I get to see his oh so good face.
His hair is as darkish brown as cocoa, his eyes green. They held hues of the forest, surrounded with dark moss. It was kind of earthy green, that revives the grass after a cruel, unforgiving winter. Interwoven shades, hiding the chaotic nature behind. Never before have eyes clutched such danger and beauty, all at once. He had a sharp nose, and lips were better not explained. His features were reckless, untamed, yet captivating.
Awestruck by his god like features, for god knows how long, I came back to the planet when I saw him snapping his fingers in front of me. Then I noticed my hand still clutching his. I quickly let it go.
When I gained my so-called consciousness, he asked, "Do you usually shut down for few seconds, then regain composure? Or its just me?"
I could seriously manage just a, "huh?" Okay call me embarrassing.
"Because it is not good for you, to be so lost, being Crimsons leader, Rose Crimson." He emphasized the last bit. "You never know, where your sworn enemies might be. May be right in front of you." He shrugged, and whispered the last part.
He is right. Wait, how does he know me, since he is new here?
Oh, right I've been on the news all these days after last encounter.
"I know my enemies, and I also know they wont play peek-a-boo with me. I'll get to know, when someone will near me."
"Sure." He said with a knowing smirk. "By the way, why did you drag me here?"
Thats when realization dawned upon me, that is what am I doing here in first place.
This boy, and his looks.
"Shut up, and get into the car, there well play twenty questions, okay?" I quickly snapped at him.
"And why would I do that?" He asked raising an eyebrow at me. And I rolled my eyes.
"Because, this place isn't a bit safe." I replied. I got into the drivers seat, and looked at my side to find an empty seat. I look out of the window. He is standing with his arms crossed across his chest.
No, he seriously doesnt want me to open the freaking door for him, does he?
"What? Get your ass in here, right now." I exclaimed. He huffed, but eventually got in.
"Okay, now tell-" I interrupted him, and said, "First, let me drive out of here." And revved the engine.
Once I made sure that I left that lane, I slowed down the car, and released a breath. I could see him itching to ask questions, from the corner of my eyes. When he realized that there is nothing left for me to stop him anymore, he turned towards me and started shooting questions.
"Tell me why you dragged me here? Where are you taking me, huh?" To murder you. I internally laughed. Oh, I like him being annoyed. Deciding to irritate him further, I asked, "What is your name, again?"
I felt him tense a bit beside me, but he recovered soon. "I asked you first."
I sighed, "Well, I was trying to save you. You dont have an idea how dangerous they are. If anyone saw you gawking upon their house, they would probably get the sense of you being a spy. And then, it wouldn't be long to find you buried six feet underground."
He seemed to be a bit too caught up in my small speech to interrupt. He nodded, processing all in. And then said, "Either way I'm not safe. I mean, I'm sitting right beside the Leader of Crimson, crime family. You can result being equally dangerous."
I smirked, on the thought of being dangerous. "Yeah, like I can, but don't you worry, I don't harm innocent."
I heard him give out a breathy laugh and mutter 'innocent' under his breath. But I decided to ignore it.
My gaze involuntarily shifted from the road to his face. He was looking out of the window. His profile was also too good. A glass cutting jawline, and raised cheek bones. How cliché?
He chose that moment to turn his head towards me. And I whipped my head back to the road so fast, for a second, I doubted, is it still fixed to my body or will it bounce around any second?
Shit. Why do I have to embarrass myself like this?
He coughed lowly, and I didnt dare look at him. It was too awkward. But it soon vanished, when my phone rang. I mentally thanked, whoever it was.
Violet.
I grinned like an idiot to myself and attended the call. "Heellloooo." I sang, in a teasing voice.
"Oh, my god Rose, you wont believe, what in the freaking hell happened!" By now she was literally screaming on the other end.
"Umm Let me guess, Cam gave you chrysanthemum daisies and asked you out?" I said in a fake unsure voice.
"Seriously Rose, how do you know?" Disbelieve, evident in her voice. I chuckled, and said, "Let it be the story for another day, and I need the full description of what happened. Okay?"
"A to Z. Sure." She assured, then hung up.
I was still smiling and thinking about my best friend when he spoke. I forgot he was still there. "I didn't know, you were a part time witch, working with a prophecy."
I gasped. "You were eavesdropping?" How descent.
"Well, I couldn't help listening. You friend screams like anything." He ended with a shrug. I started closing my mouth, which was hanging open dramatically.
"So, what is your name?" I asked, to prevent any upcoming awkward silences.
"Why are you so desperate to know my name?" He accused, with an amused look on his face. His lips slightly tugging up, which made him look so bright.
"Well, technically you know my name, but I dont know yours. So, I should know."
"Then technically, I know Barrack Obama's name, but he doesn't know mine." Oh, nice comparison. But I'm sure, he doesn't know what he said.
"Thanks for the comparison." I exclaimed.
Oh, god, you seriously should have seen his face. A five seconds show, of realization and regret.
"Oh, no, dont let your ego fly. I was just saying. You know example." He tried to convince, with his full potential. With full of hand gestures.
"Sure." I smirked.
After a moment, or two, he sighed deeply. "Asher."
I nodded. "Asher." I let the name roll off my tongue. And instantly a smile took place on my face. I turned to look at him, and found him already looking at me. So, I raised my eyebrows, and asked him. "What?"
He shook his head, and looked outside the window. "Nothing. So, where are we going?"
"Oh, right. I don't know where you live. Where should I drop you?" I was just heading towards my house, completely ignoring the fact, that he lives somewhere else.
"Um, I guess you can, leave me here. I'll walk myself the rest of the way." He said.
"Are you sure? Like, it's fine, I can drop you." I asked him. I dont have anything to do right now, so it wouldn't kill me to spend a few more minutes, admiring his face. But it didn't take him a second to answer.
"Positive."

"I like me better when I'm with you..." I and Violet sang along while watching the last scene of To all the boys I've loved before."You want pancakes with chocolate syrup, or Maple syrup?" Violet asked."Chocolate.""Okay." With that, she made her exit. Confused? Well, what happened is that when we heard that loud thud, something unbelievable happened. You know, the most unpredictable. Being the two most strong women, I admire in my life, my aunt and my mom appeared out of nowhere.*Flashback*I was going to answer but was cut off with a loud thud. Some cartons flew in the air and a window came into view. Not only a window but two creatures, who looked like women."Mom? Helena? How did you guys know-" My mom interrupted my question, and said, "We'll talk about that later, we have more important things to do right now."
After I got that call from the kidnappers, probably Verinos, because they didn't ask for any money, I called Charles. We both made our way to the given address. We several times tried calling Kevin, to make sure is he actually kidnapped, or it is just a bait to get to us.We tried to track his mobile phone, but we were not able to, because it was switched off.Helena is at home with my mom. She herself is a good attacker and defender, as my mom. But Charles preferred them being at home. So, here we are, at the entrance of 64D, hiding behind a wall. I am standing behind Charles, with my knees slightly ducked, gun pressed against my outer right thigh, as we slowly moved towards our left. Two bouncers were standing at the gate, with rifles in their hands. They were facing their back towards us.We know what to do.We walked towards them s
"Rrrriiiinnngggg!!!" the bell rung signaling the end of the class. Only One class left before lunch. You can survive it Rose.I rushed out of the class, hanging my bag on my shoulder. I reached my locker and switched my economics books with history. History. My consciousness can betray me anytime. I can already feel my eyes drooping. Who the hell has history early in the morning? I practically dragged my legs to the second floor, holding on the railing as if I would pass out if I don't. Violet had already left for chemistry. I exhaled when I reached the second last stair, and lost my balance and tripped on the last stair. Clumsy Rose.My toe hurts like anything now. This led to me walking to the class, slower than a tortoise. After several sunlit days, I finally reached my class. It had already started, so when I stepped into the room, all the heads whipped toward me. Yeah, y

We all had our breakfast and headed towards our own businesses. This is one of the things of my family, I like the most. No matter what, our entire family has the breakfast together in the morning. The weather was even cooler today, as the sky seemed darker and colder. The floor was chilled against my bare foot, but my palms were warmer which I often use to rub over my arm, in order to calm the chills. When I entered my study room after lingering around the house for a while, I found uncle Charles sitting on a chair, on the opposite side of my desk. Studying some photographs, which I wasn't getting a clear vision of. The glass window of the room was fogged, which gave a blurred view of snowy white scenery in the unroofed yard.I sat on my revolving chair, giving him a curious look and waiting for him look up at me and tell me, what is it. As in cue, he whipped his head towards me and gave a how-is-this-possible look. I con
