Chapter 11

Jeez, is that really a crazy, annoying guy? I never thought that he would be attractive too ~ Cheryl smiled at Jeff.

A pinch on Cheryl's arm broke her imagination and admiration for Jeff a little.

"Be careful, your eyes are almost off," Vero whispered in Cheryl's ear. "Don't tell me you like Jessy's cousin." Vero teased again, which made Cheryl even more embarrassed. But as usual Cheryl tried to deny it. "Like? There's no way I like a crazy guy like him" Cheryl whispered in Vero's ear.

"Ehm! .." Mike cleared his throat, startling Cheryl and Vero. 

"Come in, please!" Invite James as the oldest among them.

Jessy and Jeff immediately went inside following Chiko, James and David. While Cheryl and Vero were still in their place, this time not only Cheryl who was mesmerized by Jeff, but also Veronica, Jeff's smile managed to make Vero silent.

And of course Vero's behavior made her husband jealous and upset, by holding back his emotions Mike approached the two women he loved very much, namely Vero the wife and his cousin Cheryl.

Mike immediately took over the place in the middle between Vero and Cheryl who was still quiet like a statue, then with annoyance Mike pulled Cheryl's earlobe as well as Vero's in his right and left hand.

"Aakhhh!" Cheryl screamed in pain.

"Ouch!" Vero replied, not wanting to lose.

"You two are just embarrassing me, can't you see a handsome people? See your eyes almost out! Are we at home not handsome huh!" Mike snapped angrily.

"Ouch! My ears hurt" While grimacing Cheryl complaining in pain. "Anyway, who saw the guy, not me, but Vero who saw, she said she was tired of seeing your face all the time." Cheryl slyly turned the facts around and accused Vero.

Vero, who seemed to be a suspect because of Cheryl's act, immediately tried to seduce her husband.

"Darling, don't listen to Cheryl .. she's lying, for me only you are the most handsome and attractive man in my life, there's no other" Vero replied again.

It's better to be safe first, this is all because of Cheryl, it could be dangerous if my husband gets angry and jealous ~ Vero thought.

"You lie Vero, you said that Jessy's cousin is really handsome" Again, Cheryl deliberately provokes jealousy for her cousin Mike, because Cheryl think that if Mike jealous it will be very funny for her. 

"Cheryl!" snapped Vero annoyed that her friend's actions could endanger her later.

She can't get out of her room if her husband is jealous and angry ~ thought Vero in fear.

"No, dear!" Vero is still trying to defend herself.

"You, you can't leave your room for 2 days, I will lock you up in our room, I will punish you, for 2 days I won't let you walk properly dear!" Mike threatens with a smirk, Mike's threat suddenly makes 2 people react differently, if Vero gets very upset, but it's different with Cheryl who seems to enjoy the punishment her best friend received.

"Why are you still here?" Said David suddenly come. "Get in quickly, we are about to start dinner" David reminded the three of them.

As a substitute for the tug on their ear, Mike replaced by pulling Vero and Cheryl's hands softly.

They enjoyed dinner time quietly, there was no conversation at the dinner table, only the sound of clinking between plates and other cutlery.

"Thanks for the dinner" Jeff said politely. "I represent Jessy, thank you very much for the invitation to this dinner," Jeff said friendly again.

"I represent Mike and the Salim family wanna say thank you for you two for coming tonight" replied James wisely.

"We'd better go back to the living room inside, we can relax for a while" said Mike.

They all left the dining table and headed for the family room which had been decorated in such a fine way.

Cheryl kept watching Jeff, even though her lips said no, but her heart could not lie that Cheryl began start to attracted to Jeff.

Jeff also realized that he was always being watched by Cheryl and that made him happy as soon as the plan began to work. After being satisfied talking, 

Chiko began to express his intention to propose to Jessy that night.

Instantly the lights in the room turned off.

And not long after that, the sound beautiful melody from piano and violin start, the perfect mix of music.

Now the lights began to turn on again and all eyes were on Chiko who was already in front of Jessy, Chiko guided Jessy to stand with him and they danced together. 

This pair of happy people had managed to attract the attention of all the eyes in the room, except for Jeff, this time Jeff kept staring at Cheryl's face. He knew that Cheryl must be holding back all her emotions that she could bear to see the scene infront of her.

After finishing dancing, Chiko knelt in front of Jessy.

Without wasting any more time, Chiko immediately proposed to Jessy.

"Baby, will you marry me ??"

As the time was running fast, Jessy did not take long, she firmly replied "Yes, I want .."

The applause from everyone in the room indicated that Chiko's mission was successful, even though Cheryl had received it, but it was still hard for her, without a word Cheryl left the living room and heading back to the garden.

Vero, who originally wanted to chase Cheryl, immediately gave up her mind, when she saw that Jeff was already chasing Cheryl.

Looking at the night sky seemed to be a medicine for Cheryl's heart, she was very happy to see her brothee, but she was also afraid that her brother would not love her anymore..

"Can I sit here?"

"You?" what are you doing here .. just go, don't bother me! "Said Cheryl after knowing that it was Jeff's voice.

Stubborn girl! be patient Jeff, you can make her fall for your charm~ Jeff thought.

"I don't want to bother you, I just want to sit here," he replied indifferently.

"Why you always bothering me?" Still feeling annoyed Cheryl talking to Jeff.

"Maybe this is what we call destiny, you and i!" Said Jeff.

"What? destiny? I'm Match with you? Do not expect I'll like you" replied Cheryl. But again her heart and mouth seemed unfriendly to her. 

I also don't want to be with rude and fierce girls like you, you are not my type, even to enter the circle of my friends you are not appropriate ~ Jeff thought irritably.
