LOGINComing to the house Damien bought for us over a month ago again felt like coming into a totally different place. The place was transformed and looked pretty. Fortunately for me, Damien didn't change anything about the interior of the sitting room because I'd loved the modern yet vintage setting.
And of course, I didn't fail to notice the double security Damien put up. Since the house was by the water side, I think he has this idea that I might be kidnapped again by water and all that shit. I don't even know all the crazy stuffs that go through that guys head. He thinks I'm a baby that need pampering!
"Would you like a feet massage before Mr Forrest get back from work?" The plump lady in front of me asked. She's not Rose. This house has more maids than I could ever imagine. So Rose is like the head of them all. AND NO!.....
"I don't need a foot massage!" I state with a loud and clear voice, hoping she gets the message. "What is wrong with you people. Leave me alone!" I sighed and crossed my leg. Now they're just making me act like a paranoid child.
Beside me, Daniele chuckled. I'm so grateful Damien allowed her to stay. Actually, after I tied him to our bed, he didn't have a choice. She has kept me company since we moved here. And that's just a day.
"Damien sure knows how to pest someone's life with care and love huh? I though he was a jerk who only cared about himself" She sniggered and I wanted to speak up for Damien.
"He's the most caring man I know" I said and she smiled with wide eyes.
"Sure. Sure. Your his wife, you must say that" she grinned at me and I shook my head with a smile.
A relaxing Monday and we were both at the pool side. Daniele looked like a sleek model in her black swim suit and dark shades. Her hair was tied up in a bun. I would've loved the idea of a swimsuit but too bad the store don't have maternity swimsuits.
"Thank you for making me stay here" Elle said and then sat up a bit. "Last night the way my brother was looking at you, I knew you'd be making the final decision" she winked and my cheeks flamed red. Who else noticed the flirting going on between me and Damien for the rest of the night?..I sure hope Bethany did!...
"I always used to dream of times where I could spend some time with Damien" Elle looked dreamy as she spoke and I had to remind myself that she's his sister.
"What happened?" I asked Elle and she shrugged as if it was nothing but it's got to be something.
The maid came back again with an pitcher full of orange juice.
"Freshly squeezed ma'am. Rose said to bring it to you" She said and dropped the tray down. I stared at Danielle and she bursted into a fit of laughter.
"I bet..Damien...sent her to do that" Elle said between hiccups of laughter. And she wasn't wrong. I know Damien is behind the orange juice. It's a great idea but he didn't have to.
"Thank you...um..."
"Judy ma'am" She said and I smiled at her before she exited. I poured myself a glass of juice and sipped on it. Elle did the same.
"Hmmm... this is good" Elle hummed and I chuckled. I arranged my sunny dress down a bit and relaxed against the lounge chair.
"Tell me about you, Jay. I really want to know more about you." Elle smiled. "I want to know the woman that stole my brothers heart" she said but there was no grudge in there. Only pride. She lowered her glasses to her nose and peered at me.
"That's classic of you"
"That's me. Classic Elle. Now go on" she urged and I chuckled.
"Well, my parents are in London and I'm an only child.." I started saying but Elle groaned and flopped against her seat.
"Something more personal. I know I sound like a creep asking about your life and all" Elle said and I was full on laughing. Of course it's weird but I won't mind telling her anything.
"It's alright Elle. Hit me"
"I don't think that's a good idea." She said staring at my stomach and I rolled my eyes. "Besides, Damien would paralyze me" she chuckled.
"You know what I mean"
"Ok ok...a girl makes a bad joke around here and she's condemned" Elle said rasing both hands up. I giggled. She's nothing like Damien. She's more free, she's a talkative and dare I say more fun to be with.
"Your first boyfriend was when?"
....
The Sun was already going down and I could see the orange sun fade into the moon and the reflection hit the water causing a perfect glow. Nature is life. Nature is beautiful.
I and Elle were still sitting by the pool talking about embarrassing stuffs that happened in high school and recently. It was becoming chilly but I was having so much fun to stop talking.
"The worst part of wearing heels to a conference meeting is when the fear of tripping on your face comes to you" Elle said and almost choked on her orange drink. I gripped the sides of the chair as I I rumbled with laughter.
*****
"So your first kiss was during prom" Elle looked interested as she leaned on the sides of her chair and gazed at me with a twinkle in her eyes.
"Yes. He was the schools quarter back then. Last I heard, he owns his own football field now" I said.
"And how does Damien feel about you keeping tabs on your ex?" Elle teased. I won't really say ex. We just kissed at prom cause he was my date.
"He doesn't have to know" I said with a wink and we both chuckled until a voice startled us.
"What don't I have to know?"
I turned behind us Immediately so see Damien with his hands in his pocket. His tie was gone and two buttons were opened up. He had a deep scowl on his face and as he stood there, he looked handsome than ever. The sun setting, was also casting a perfect glow on him. How lucky I am.
I stretched my hands out for him to come to me.
"Welcome home brother" Elle grinned.
"Oh you're still here?" Damien said with a frown.
"Oh your still being a jerk?" Elle retaliated with a smirk and I chuckled. Good thing I never had siblings, though sometimes it could be fun.
Damien came to squat in front of me.
"I didn't see you in the room so I got worried"
"She's not your prisoner Damien. Of course she was spending time with me" Elle chuckled and then stopped when she noticed someone else walk through the glass doors. That was Joseph. Damiens friend and I'm guessing Elle is about to hook him.
"I brought guest" Damien said apologetically to me and I brushed my hands through his hair.
"I'm sure Rose won't mind making extra dinner. How many people?" I asked him.
"Just Joseph" Damien said and sat next to me.
"Hi Jay...it's been a while" Joseph said and shook my hand. He took Elle's hand and kissed it. She blushed deeply and I rolled my eyes.
"Aren't you cold?" Damien asked but his eyes were shooting daggers at Elle.
"Hey. It was her choice to be out here. Let her have some freedom. We're going golfing tomorrow by the way" Elle said and got up from her chair.
I could feel Damiens eyes on me but I refused to look at him. I just bit on my knuckle trying to hide my smile. Yeah! I'm so getting it.
The sun was already going down and I've given Damien many kisses than I can count. We didn't only golf but barbecued. Rose came over and helped us with steaks. We found a shady spot with a wooden table and trunks like stools round the table. It looked man-made though but it was pretty."Thanks for the steaks, Rose"Rose smiled at me and nodded before going back to the grill. Everyone was much too hungry after the games to even talk. Chloe of all people was stuffing her face with potatoes and steak at the same time."We should do this every weekday Dammy" Elle said. I cringed at the name she called him because once upon a time, Bethany had called him that and it annoyed the hell out of me. Still annoys me."Are you planing to stay here much longer?" Damien frowned and I hit his leg under the table. He stared at me and I mouthed be nice. He rolled his eyes at me and dug his fork into his steak.
Danielle hit the ball so hard, we couldn't find where it flew to. It's a warm Wednesday and we're both playing golf and bonding over food and makeup."Do you think it ran into the trees?" Elle asked. She bent down and picked another golf ball."Guess so"I placed my hand to shield my eyes from the sun. Elle had told me to take a cap with him but I'd blantanly refused. I thought it'd be weird wearing a summer dress, tennis shoes and a cap. Oh and let me not fail to mention that I'm pregnant. Now I see she had a point."Do you hear that?" I asked Elle. There was a humming sound coming toward us. Like a truck but it didn't have that rugged sound. Elle dropped her ball down next to a hole and gave it a tiny tud. The ball rolled slowly along the well trimmed grass until it entered into the hole.I clapped my hands as Elle jumped up and down. That's her first win today.

The moment we stepped back into the ballroom, Bethany's eyes zeroed on me and I gave her a little, tight smirk. She rolled her eyes and looked away. Haha sucker! Damien pulled out my seat and then excused himself. I was left with Bethany and some others at the table.I wish I had brought my phone so I didn't have to stare at her stupid face all the time. I dragged my hands over my tummy as the blonde by my side smiled at me. I smiled at her. She wasn't here before so I guess she just arrived."Hello. I guess your here with Damien" she said and I nodded."He's my husband" I smiled and she chuckled."Why, it's nice to meet you" her voice sounded English. Her thick accent also complimented her tight blonde bun and black Versache gown. I bet she has a black or silver sandal to go with it. Her eyes were also masked with thick mascara and smoky eyes. She's pretty and I'll hate to think she was one of Da
As I sat in the Limo, I tried not to remember the last time I and Damien were together in this same Limo. I had gone over myself that night.Damien squeezed my hands and I stared up at him. There's no telling what would transpire at this event. We might meet Alberto and we might not meet him. We might find out that he was the one who sent those kidnappers and we might learn that he's not the one. And even if he told us what we needed to know, how would we know that he was telling the truth??."Just remember to smile always and if you feel nauseous or sick at any moment, just tell me and I'd get you out of there" Damien went over the note of the night."Alright. You've told me that like seventy times now" I sighed and he chuckled.."I just want you to be happy and safe at the same time."The Limo came to a stop and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. This wasn't one of chloes fa
I woke up with movement above me. I opened one eye slowly so I don't go blind from the brightness of the room. Damien smiled when he saw I was awake."Good morning, beautiful" he hummed and then planted a kiss to my lips. "I made you breakfast""Hmm...I like the sound of that" I grinned."Sure you do. Come" he took my hand and helped me seat up. I relax against the head board and he fetched a tray of what smelled like chocolate chilli tart. There was a rose by the side ."Damien. You're incredible" I brushed my nose against his. "I love you""I love you. Now eat before I loose my patience" he smirked."Pervert!" I called out and he shrugged. I found myself digging into the tarte and boy, was it good. Yes it was. I dipped my finger into the Marple syrup by the side and stuck it in front of Damien."Have a syrup" I teased."Are you kidding m
