At the Davis Home

Canberra, Australia

"Here, let Charisa help." Said Charisa to her sister-in-law.

The girl was sitting cross-legged on their house’s fur rug with many large boxes surrounding it. The big boxes of cardboard were not boxes containing Charisa's belongings, because Skandar had brought her belongings when the man was caught proposing to Charisa in front of the fence of her house.

It was very simple proposal but full of a lot of commotion because both Yuta and Anna had a hard time not bothering Skandar and Charisa, even though the two humans had been standing far apart.

“No, you can't be tired. Tomorrow you will must be a beautiful bride.” Amanda said.

"Getting married only talk about wearing a white dress and standing while greeting guests. It is just like that, right?" Asked Charisa innocently.

Charisa was going to get some wooden souvenirs belonging to her sister and put them in her sister’s box her sister, but Amanda refused her hand from the side of the box anymore. The boxes were boxes for carrying goods that her brother would bring to New Zealand.

"Who says? Then at night?" asked her sister-in-law, she got excited by her sister-in-law's innocence.

"What shall we do at night? To meet family?” Tanya Charisa not indifferent.

"Probably Skandar will find difficult way to explain ‘that’ to her tomorrow, honey!" Said Amanda who winked spoiled to her husband.

"We'll see, how patient Skandar teaches her." Noah continued, who was across the table, the man had previously only laughed watching his wife's chat with his sister.

As the girl's older brother, Noah actually didn't want her sister to marry so young. The long age gap with Charisa caused him as an older brother who had an adult character than his younger sibling, he was used to his younger sister's spoiled behaviour, and he wanted to be a figure who nurtured the girl since their mother died when Charisa was in fifth grade of elementary school. However, he could not change his father's will at all, especially since it was related to one of the most respected family in Australia.

In addition, his work assignment also made matters worse, even after the girl got married, he and his wife had to leave for New Zealand, to prepare their moving home there. While he also could not carry Charisa to move directly, his life insurance to live there could only cover one more person, namely his wife, Charisa had to also graduate on time at his school this year. For this reason, he agreed to the will, marrying off his younger sister to the eldest grandson of the Hemingway family. So that his younger sister was not alone in Canberra, in order there was someone whom looked after his beloved sister.

"Charisa must be happy to live with Skandar, do you get it? Don't be spoiled and childish again, Charisa will be a wife..." Noah ordered, he was sitting in front of Charisa. The young girl looked at her older brother innocently.

"Yes, but you will pick me up one day, right?" Asked Charisa who had started crying.

"I will pick you up if anything happens to you, if your husband Skandar does something that makes you sad. Because after getting married later, my responsibility as Charisa's guardian will have shifted to your husband, Charisa..." said Noah with concern while smiling.

"Charisa doesn't want to do that... Keep picking up Charisa even though if nothing happens, huh?" Noah only smiled a little, why was this younger sister so good at bargaining.

"Okay, I'll pick you up if you tell there is a baby in your house." Amanda said continuing her husband's words, which already seemed emotional, the woman knew that her husband was having a hard time covering up his feelings as a real brother.

"Do you want to leave your baby at my house?"

"Your baby, Charisa, not our baby..."

Immediately, Amanda's words were able to make Charisa to stop talking. The Davis couple laughed on their sister's response. It seemed true, if Skandar would be very troublesome to face Charisa on their wedding’s first night tomorrow.

At Dominiques Cafe

Canberra, Australia

The cafe door opened slightly suddenly, showing a tall man in his cold and bitchy style. The man took the left side of the road in the cafe to find the person he was looking for. The man didn't care about the gaze of the few young girls. They whispered about him when they were seeing his arrival. Remember, the faces of Hemingway's generation were always deceiving with his behaviour.

Skandar Alexander Hemingway arrived in the middle of the cafe, the man was looking for the presence of a person why it's so nice to bother him, even when he wanted to rest like tonight. Several times the man seemed to his lips, he was a little annoyed to a girl whom he was looking for tonight. It was at table number ten that Skandar finally found the person. Skandar immediately walked to the table he meant without intending to prolong the duration of his time. He had already wanted to rest tonight.

"Skandar... We thought if you wouldn’t come." Said a girl who immediately stood up when she saw Skandar's arrival.

"We?" Repeated Skandar suspiciously.

"Ohh that... They're the ones who told me to send you such a message." Said the girl who a few weeks ago asked Skandar pretending being his beloved girl in front of her mom, though in the end, their meeting with Skandar mom being total failure as a result of the girl's dress style that was very impolite.

The girl pointed to the two men who were already sitting on the sofa behind the table. Skandar's eyebrows fell when he saw the two people. Who else if not the two people should be avoided, his two friends who liked throwing tantrums.

"Don't send messages like that again, and don't use the name anymore, Hannah!" Skandar's message was very serious to the girl. The girl just laughed at that.

"She's still in New York, Skandar. You don't have to be like that. Take relax!” said the girl, but Skandar pretended not to hear it.

"How dare you not invite us, bro?" Exclaimed James immediately when Skandar had taken a seat beside him. The fat man looked annoyed.

“Do you want to get married without us? What do you not need groom men?" Adam added the heat of their table. Yes, he was wrong here.

Skandar let out a low sigh, the Hemingway man knew that this kind of stupid situation would happen sooner or later. The man's eyes were towards on his wedding invitation which was put in the middle of the table, Skandar took it and turned it over, there was the name Hannah Alba there. Skandar knitted his brows and saw Hannah. As far as he could remember, he didn't invite any of his friends, that's why he didn't invite his friends either.

"Your mom invited me don't know why." Hannah answered honestly.

Skandar leaned his shoulders on the cafe sofa. He was getting dizzy. He should have been able to guess his mother's childish idea from yesterday, his mom would be happy to invite all his fake ex-lovers to come to his wedding. Especially if it was not a show event to announce that his son had married and had a wife.

Mom is really jobless

And has silly intention about that!

"I didn't invite you all because this wedding was also sudden for me." Skandar said after the man ordered a cup of warm lemon tea. "I will treat you all to have dinner instead after I got married initially."

"You suddenly got married whether because you have impregnated someone's daughter?" James shouted in disbelief, the man's mouth was immediately smothered by Skandar.

“Lower your voice! I'm still a Skandar Alexander Hemingway here!" Hissed Skandar.

"Why do you suddenly get married then?" Adam asked while he was staring to his friend. Skandar had just removed his hand from James's bucket mouth.

"He will get arranged marriage, won’t he, Skandar?" Interrupted Hannah, Hannah included a group where some people liked to interrupt him such as Charisa and her mom.

"Hem... As Hannah said, I get arranged marriage, my grandfather’s testament with my future wife’s father." Skandar agreed.

"And you take it for granted?" Adam asked, he did not get it. The workaholic Skandar Hemingway decided to get married?

"How beautiful is your wife until you let go of your single life?" Added the jerk James. "Is the girl an artist? Top model? Which crazy rich daughter is your mom dragged away?"

"Not a girl like in your imagination. She's an ordinary girl." Skandar tried patiently to explain to the two people who were very talkative tonight. Hannah just laughed at the incredulous response of the two men.

“You don’t mean that we will believe your story telling easily, right?" Asked James.

"Your family won't accept it then, Skandar!?" Adam asked again.

“But in reality, she is indeed a girl from an ordinary family. My mother who even like marrying her off to me. Well, you two come tomorrow, I suggest, don't be surprised when you see her." Said Skandar in the end.

"Is she so pretty till making us all as getting shocked?" Adam asked himself.

“You must video call her, I wanna know our future sister-in-law quickly. You're not lying, are you?" told James to Skandar.

“Don’t do that, let her rest tonight. She must have slept at this hour." Skandar said looking on his cell phone’s digital clock. Based to his guess, it was his future wife’s break.

"What kind of baby girl is your future wife? It's still nine at night now!" James was still chuckling for telling Skandar to video call his future wife.

"I‘ve told you she's different. Indeed she is still a baby, still young, still seventeen years old." said Skandar obviously.

"WHAT!?" His two friends almost died hearing that. Hannah even choked on her own drinking water. The girl who was a model, even had to bother looking for tissue, however she could not find it. She just got a tissue, when Adam stood up and took the tissue box from the table next to him.

"My ears must be in trouble." Hannah said the first, out of her choking.

"Your ears are healthy, my future wife is a high school student." Said Skandar trying to understand his three friends’ surprised moment.

They were his best friends, Skandar was well-known to ignore many girls whom had intention for closing him, he was cold man, who often stayed at his office until night, suddenly he had to get married, and high school student was his future wife. Skandar just felt lucky that his friends did not have a heart attack when they heard about it.

"She is seventeen years old, what can she do, Skandar?" Hannah said that as she did not understand Skandar’s mom type of favorite girl. If the young girl was only able to be accepted, why did she get rejection when she pretended to be his son’s girlfriend?

"Skandar, since when do you become a paedophile?" Adam said jokingly.

Even though Skandar was a little sore hearing it, he still conveyed himself that marrying a high school student was not shameful and sinful thing. Yesterday when he proposed to Charisa, he had made up his mind, right?

"Absolutely she can serve Skandar on the bed, Hannah..." Said the perverted James.

"What an ambiguous thing you're saying, Mr. James Bloom!!" Skandar slightly raised his tone. His cheeks were flushed red since they discussed how young a Charisa Davis was.

"You will have to tell us tomorrow how the seventeen year old teenager feels, bro!" James teased, nudging Skandar's shoulder. If the man's behaviour was like that, Skandar might think James assumed him getting golden ticket if Skandar had a so young wife as Charisa.

"Your mind is so dirty, James!"

"You didn't mean to ask me for representing you, right?" replied James hopefully.

"Don’t hope it!" pushed a Skandar Hemingway directly, his wife was only for him.
