Chapter 27 ( Rhiannon and the Four Treasures of Tuatha)

The Elohim gathered up the small group all of them and set them upon the shores of Avalon in a brilliant flash of light and the trumpeting of Gabriel. Valudaz and Kerari, stood looking dazed at one another as the other three joined them on the shore. Gabriel led the way to King Valudus's tent blowing his trumpet and awakening the watchmen to bow their shofar in unison with him. Val and Rahnyah  swept the flap of their tent open and looked out and saw the throng coming their way. Valudus shook for a moment and his wings unfurled into brilliant white owl's feathers. Rahnyah looked at her husband trying to register what she was seeing. Her mate was an angel. How could she not know? Gabriel stepped up to them and gestured for Daz to step forward. Val instantly saw the shekinah of Yehovah surrounding his son, and tilted his head a little to the right. He bowed low as his brother came closer to grasp his arm and looked at Rahnyah." Fear not". Daz once again responded," Anytime you say " Fear not" everyone is always scared Gabriel." 

Val smiled and said," Brother! it has been a long time. As you see Father's creations have grown simply amazing. Look how they come together to slay our brother. Why are you here?" Gabriel looked at him and removed a flask of black obsidian with with a golden stopper and said," Val, this is for our brother's soul. Mother and father require it back in the throne room." Val nodded and winced slightly." Where is Brelona, you know she and her sister Hredrona are to lead us into battle. I hear the ark of the covenant has been located. Did Bardiel take it back to the throne room?" Val asked.

Gabriel nodded and spoke quickly," Our sister's will join us on the battle field when the time comes as will Bardiel when the time comes. I am to capture his soul in this flask. The rogue here has been tasked with making him mortal. Father made her special blades and put them in her hands himself." he said ,as Val looked upon his son and said," Daz, son, come here and let me look upon you." His son stepped forward and Val gasped sharply." Y-you." Looking at Gabriel and continued," Father put his armor on you?" Daz looked at his father and smirked, saying," Well apparently my black armor did not suit him and the pain I endured to be fitted properly for this get up was my payment."

Looking up he saw Briesef coming forward and said," Oh beautiful Breisef of glistening beauty, Will you take your band of dragons to the lotus city. We need more weapons and and armies." The dragons said softly, as she sat down on her haunches," If you bring me a fat cow to feed upon I will. We dragons have been flying for some time and require sustenance," Somewhere from along the side of the encampment someone was  bringing a cow for the dragons. When Gabriel said," Oh glorious one of beauty, There are still samurai among the common folk. We need them to march with us. We need the monks of Tibet and the Lotus City .

 There are weapons of indescribable power held by the Samuari." Briesef flicked her claws and Pong came and took the cow to a niche in the rocks and killed it and hid it there for them to come back to. High Queen Madeline came forwards and spoke softly," Gabriel dear, how nice it is to see you. How long has it been? Gabriel Bowed low to his Aunt and raised his eyebrow in thought. " Nigh on fifteen thousand years my queen. I have missed you dearly."  Rahnyah looked questioningly and asked," If Lucifer and Gabriel and Andronus are your brothers, how is she your mother?" Then it dawned on her and she blushed. Gabriel responded," Us Seraphim have many mothers, Bardiel's mother is Astarte, Lucifer and I have the same mother. Valudus and Andronus and Rhiannon have the same mother. All of us are angels and Father is our father. Aunt Madeline is my aunt. Her sister, Ashara ,is mine and Lucifer's mother. Michael, Uriel and Ramiel are triplets and their mother is Jophiel who is also a Seraphim. Raziel's mother is Ahrianrhod, shall I go on?" Rahnyah still blushing, shook her head in the negative." 

Rhiannon and Ambrosious were walking up to the tent when Gabriel turned to her and said," Since you have been bound to the lake for six thousand years, how about you and your husband go get a few things for me?" Rhiannon's eyes lit up and nodded quickly and responded," Where shall we go and what do you need brother?" Gabriel said solemnly," Well, we need all five Arch druids to open to the portal to the Tuatha De Dannan. You must retrieve the Stone of Destiny which is already on this plane . More than likely in Lorthramar. It's a high probability that it rests under the throne in the throne room which is The stone Lia-Fa'il a , The mighty spear of Loo, Nuada's cainnel.  Lastly, the great Cauldron of Dagda and bring them back here. Your mother will use the cauldron for healing vials." Rhiannon looked at her husband and smiled with joy.

She still had not been out of the grove since she emerged from the lake. Gabriel looked at them and said," Quickly now!" Sherari sensing that she was needed walked out of her cottage and knocked on Karogen's door," I think we are needed by the lake." she said and he turned and grabbed his cloak. Karogen barked like a coyote and Andronus popped his head out the window replying," Yooo, yooo, yooo, please don't wake the boy. It took me forever to get that child to sleep. I was about to give him the draught of sleeping from mother's cabinet. What are you howling for? " Karogen nodded and said," Comeon, something is going on at the lake. The boy will be fine. He is in the safest spot in the actual world right now." He said as he gestured towards the surrounding lands of the lake and Tor. Firelit dotted the landscape as far as the eyes could see.

They shifted to animal form and made their way to the lake where they morphed back into elven form. Looking at Ambrosious standing there, chest puffed and joy in his eyes at being tapped for such a quest motioned for the druids to gather close. Gabriel began to speak and They all listened intently to the angel." The portal tree to the Tuatha is just over here. Now, all five of you step forward and do what it is that you do. Because , Even though I am an angel I do not know the incantation." 

"Tabhair duninn go dti nah tailte mora den Tuatha De Danann! Teacht againn, I ngra ,teacht againn, I siochain teacht againn, I ngatar agus ni saint sin a mhuchadh e a bheithn'fheadfadh Se a bheith." They said as they flicked their fingers in a clockwise motion and the portal opened up for them. Val, Sherari, Andronus,Karogen,Ambrosious and Rhiannon filed through the portal to the Summer lands. The portal snapped shut loudly cutting off the rest of the world behind them.

As they entered the realm of the Tuatha, they all formed a ring around Rhiannon. She smiled and nodded at them and said," Morrigan is coming." The mist parted to a tall forest of Birch and Ash trees that spanned what seemed an eternity with only one pathway leading into it. Rhiannon touched her husband's shoulder and gently moved him to the side and walked out from the middle of the circle. The druids fanned out behind her weapons drawn. She held her hand out and stilled them as she felt their tensions mounting.  She walked forward into the forest and stopped, tilting her head to listen to the voices within the trees. They all heard them and Sherari shifted into her tiger form and stalked up beside Rhiannon. The Banshee trailed her hand through the silky fur and motioned for her to go to the right with the fore and middle fingers of her right hand.

 " I can hear the crows." She said as she turned to Ambrosious. He nodded and shifted to raven form and flew above her taking point. Karogen sniffed the air and shifted into Bear form. The raven came back and as he neared his wife, he shifted into human form as his feet hit the ground. " She walks this way about three hundred yards up." Rhiannon placed a hand on Ambrosious's arm and smiled saying," Thank you dear." Turning to her brothers, she said," We are all immortal why do I feel like a child?" Karogen smirked and responded," Well Lass it's because you have been fecking off in the lake for six thousand years. You really aren't used to social interaction. That's a new term they came up with about a thousand years ago. Some spiffy doctor's said ," Oh, make sure your children socially interact." I said," Oh I tell them to socially interact alright, If they tell someone to fuck off, Offs will be fucked." Rhiannon rasied her eye brow at Karogen and nodded curtly.

They walked on and could see Morrigan and her crows coming their way. She was tall and lean with voluptuous breasts. The black dress she wore, accentuated the curves of her body and fell to the ground trailing behind for about two feet. Her black wings were dragging the ground behind her and her long black curls hung in perfect ringlets down to her knees. Her skin was alabaster smooth and her lips bright maroon as if she kissed blood and it had dried. It was a stark contrast to her pale skin. Her eyes were the most brilliant shade of dark green anyone had ever seen. Rhiannon stepped forward and bowed low to Lady Death and waited for her to speak. " Rise Rhiannon of the Grove. What do you seek from Tuatha's trove? Rise." Rhiannon rose and her brothers and Karogen nodded as Sherari padded up behind them and shifted into Elvin form and curtseyed gracefully before the queen of death. 

Rhiannon took a breath, " Our Brother is holding the world hostage we need the treasures. Father has given us tasks. Gabriel sent me here to speak with you since you guard the trove. I know Valudus has possession of the stone, it's in his throne but, We need the spear of Loo, Nuada's sword and Dagda's cauldron. My mother needs the cauldron to make potions for the ones going into battle on a grand scale. Without it we could not hope to all stay alive. We have to make him mortal and then kill him. Gabriel has to take his soul back to father."  Morrigan stayed silent as her sister spoke and then took a deep breath. " Does this mean I get all the dead druids?" They all nodded and Val said," Only if we don't have someone who can resurrect us at the moment of death. Then and only then may you and your gaggle of crows bring them here." Morrigan looked at her brother and sighed then responded," Oh ok, why must you make things so boring for me?" Rhiannon looked at her sister and said," YOU think you are bored," Try being water logged for five thousand years! At least you get to move about and come and go from this realm. I was stuck walking in the mud and the muck dealing with the arguments of water sprites and fish. You know you had the better deal." Morrigan narrowed her eyes to mere slits and then nodded, replying" Yes, you did get the." She tapped her finger on her leg and said," Oh yes the shaft! You can have the items but first you must do somehting for me." Rhiannon looked at her sister with exasperation and said," You do know time is of the essence right?" Lady Death nodded, saying," Yes, so I guess you better listen closely. Gather round all my sweet little siblings and hear my words." 

Present day:

Old Thibideau said," Ok now, it's really getting late. Let's put a marker in this and get back to it after breakfast in the morning the little ones have missed quite alot and some of this is very integral to the story." The older children grumbled a bit and they all got up and hugged the old paladin making him smile. " Don't worry now, I will be here in the morning. I'm not going anywhere till we get to the bottom of this story ok?" The kids all cheered and the mothers and nannies came and put them to bed. He looked up at the adults. Some of them had tears in their eyes from the remembering. Rahnyah was lost in thought as she remembered those days. Thibideau came up and rubbed her back." It's ok Cherie, you know it was the only way to keep him alive. At least you have him for a few hours each night . Think of how long Rhiannon and Ambrosious lived like that." Rahnyah nodded with tears in her eyes.
