The next day, Willow had been working alone on her combat techniques with a martial arts mannequin. Stone walked up to the mat watching her quietly. Willow was so focused she didn’t notice he had walked in. Hands crossed behind him as he silently watched in amazement of her skilled fighting ability. The Evolve team was waiting for Willow to come down from the guest room. They waited patiently in the foyer in the house they rented near Richard's mansion. It was almost time for the party, and the guys were in tuxedos, and black masquerade masks. Gloria was radiant in a peacock inspired mask with a matching sequin gown. Her lovely blond hair had streaks of color to match. Stone was pacing the floor, while everyone just stood around watching him acting like a nervous teenager. Micheal shook his head knowing that his warnings to not get close to the subject feel on deaf ears. Stone was acting like a man in love. It was noticeable to everyone how overly sensitive he had become regarding Willow. How protective he was and the extra time he spent with her over the past couple weeks. 

Later that evening, everyone was having a great time dancing and enjoying the great food. Richard was known for his amazing parties and tonight was no different. Stone and Willow we're talking with Micheal when they heard a loud blast from the back of the house near the patio entrance. Screaming and chaos followed as the Evolve teams pulled their guns. Micheal and Stone shielded Willow with their bodies while trying to figure out what was happening. Willow closed her eyes trying to see people's minds. "Mick! He's been shot! Willow sat in the bunker in Stones quarters worrying about his return. She hadn't seen him since the party. It had been days, and she worried he was never coming back for her. Gloria and Dave were the ones who brought her back to the bunker but failed to comfort her.Gloria came in holding a stack of comic books. "Hey, Willow! I've been looking all over for you. Check it out. Have you ever read comic books?”"Nope, not really. Mick got me one, and Monroe threw it away. She said it was childish."
