Two days in New Mexico of doing nothing. Alex wanted me to wait to start doing portraits to maximize the amount of time we can stay. I'm almost glad mom and I don't watch TV, because I'm pretty bored with it. I've entertained myself with the occasional reality show or documentary, story telling show but all in all I've found it pretty much a waste of time.

My arms ache. I woke Alex up at seven in the morning with my stuff ready, I wanted to get out and start drawing so I could make as much as possible. While it was slow the first couple hours, business was certainly picking up by ten o'clock and didn't stop until the sun set at around five. Alex could tell how tired I was and offered to carry my stuff. I did ten portraits, most of them tipped, and almost all of them were back to back. Alex and I went and looked at some shops after I finished drawing but honestly I've been so tired all day.

I wake up the next morning, feeling warm and wrapped up. The blanket must have cocooned around me in the night.After I roll over I understand that I'm not wrapped in a blanket, blankets don't breathe. Blankets don't have arms and hands. Blankets most certainly don't have pecks.
