I pull up in front of Coastal Ink., where my boss waited for me by the booking desk. When I walk through the door, its jingle signaling my arrival. The familiar dark eyes of my boss fly my way. They light up but avert to the long line of customers.I take the next client, who most likely waited for a while. I walk to my station when I hear my boss yell, "Love, help Travis set up his table!"

"Hey, Travis!" I hear Anthony's voice.I do everything I can to ignore him. I knew he would either: make me go on break or pull me into his office for a talk. I'm not very fond of either option. I buzz around the shop, setting up each station when the door jingles. I ignore it, thinking that had to be Anthony or one of the other workers. I continue to work on the last station when I hear a familiar voice say, "Travis? You're here early."I turn around and lock eyes with Abbey's smiling blue ones. My heart practically leaps at the sight of her but I tell myself to cool it. "Hey, Ab! What are you doing here?"
