I was lying with my back against the floor, staring at the ceiling blankly. The room stenched of sweat, smoke and cigarettes. I was surrounded by a dozen bottles around me. I couldn't remember the last time I showered since I was too drunk to move my ass. I sat up and reached my hand up to the cupboard to fetch another bottle. I flicked the cap open and gulped the contents till I fell unconscious again. The pain of rejection was too much to handle and alcohol was the only way I could keep the pain locked deep within my heart. I thought I wasn't the one to give into my feelings but I guess I was wrong. I felt my heart tighten against my chest each time her words repeated on my mind. 'She fucking wanted me out of her life.'
