(Lucas)Healey was coming twice per week, as I asked her. The moment I snapped when I received the divorce papers had put her in a bit of defense mood which didn't bother me much. I wasn't in any mood of bonding, friendly or any other kind.  

(Lucas) After Gio left I sat back in my office chair and took another sip of my drink. I know, my mom was worried about my drinking habit lately but fuck it, I hopped the burning liquid would surpass my constantly working mind on how I am going to get Becca back. And I still didn't contact Benito to find out Salvatore's intentions over Becca. Gio filled me up with details just as I woke up from comma and it didn't look good. Salvatore was rooted to get Becca and it seemed Marciano believed it was better if she was away with Enzo.

(Becca)It was the time for me to return to NY. Mike has told me that everything was done, my office was rearranged the way I wanted and besides, there was a reception in the coming week. Start-up-ers financed with rich people's money were celebrated and I was one of the financiers (well, not me directly but the Downhill Inc.) and I was supposed to attend. 

(Becca)Mike and I got in his car and he drove us back home in a heavy silence, none of us daring to look at each other. Why do I feel like a teenager taken home by her father after a night out where she gracefully managed to make a full of herself? Mike was so pissed off that I could feel the vibrations of his anger all through the space of the car. 

(Becca)I jerk and try to get out of Salvatore's grip and push him away with my back but he is too strong. One of his hands holds my neck steady while the other searches for my legs but before he has the chance to reach any bare skin a loud voice bounces on the walls of the room filling the void space and a wave of relieve crosses me.
