Jennie stared at Rose with pity in her eyes. They had been sitting in silence for the past twenty minutes, and her mother-in-law had not changed her position. Rose kept her gaze on the light from the window. Suddenly the glow faded away, and Rose remembered how she felt like a dying light when she stood at the building with her baby boy and wondered what was behind its doors.  "What happened next, mom? Jennie asked. She couldn't stop herself from inquiring. Rose did not move a muscle as she continues with the story.  The building had the name "Divine lovers hotel" in pink letters written on a billboard attached to the front of the building. "Mom, come on! Chloe watches as the taxi stops in front of her home. It was the last place she desired to be, but losing Steven's affection had made her realize that he was her everything. After this morning's incident, Chloe now knows how important the eight years she took as a joke were to her. Standing now at a house that makes her feel alone, Chloe finally saw how exciting Steven made her life. Those green eyes Chloe forgot to admire every day were now the eyes she craved to stare into with every passing second. Jackson pushed open the bakeshop door and entered inside. He saw his mother's mad expression and knew that this situation would not be a pleasant one for him or the others. Steven walked in after Jackson and stood next to him. At that moment, his gaze locks on Julie, and she murmurs some words to him. He focused his mind on reading her lips to understand what she was saying. When Steven finally understood her, "I am sorry" was what she tried to tell him. 'I'm sorry? What does that even mean?' he wondered to himself. Jennie steps in and shuts the door. Her eye caught Mr. Harper's gaze as she took her place next to Steven, and his expression seemed gloomy when he saw her. Everyone was in the room, and now there were so many awkward vibes going around. Between Steven, Jackson, and Jennie, none of them wanted to be the first to speak out since they did not know why Mr. Harper and Rose summon them inside.
