(Jason POV)Here I was still at the alpha's mate's house investiating since something seems very wrong. I was debating with my wolf whether or not we should sneak in, but my wolf highly disagreed because he was stubborn but if something happens to the pack's luna and the alpha finds out then I will be responsible and I wouldn't live to see my pups being born.After arguing with my wolf and finally getting him under control, I swiftly got up from my sitting position before searching the house for open access. I growled as I began to get frustrated until I found an opening at the back of the house.As I entered the house, the scent got much stronger to the point where my wolf started whimpering. "I don't like this, Jason, let's get out of here," my wolf whined as we got closer to the stairs. "Relax, we need to find out if the alpha's mate is in here," I said as I began to slowly climb the stairs. "Then call, Mason," he said trying convinc

Previously… "The alpha and luna is dying, and if we don't save them in time then our pack will be doomed."  

(Jason POV)I stared at her in confusion before it completely changed into horror. "Y-You want the luna's heart, b-but-I was cut off by the sound of her laughter that sent chills down my spine. "What's wrong, delta, it's a simply task, I heal your alpha and I get his mate's heart, see very simple," she said in a mocking tone earning a growl. "Are you out of your mind, I can't let you kill the luna, it will be as if you killed the alpha as well," I said getting ready to leave. The hut fell silent, a very terrifed and creepy silent, my back was turned to the witch until I turned to met his hard, dark eyes. I frozed, her face was dead serious and her eyes held nothing but darkness.I immediately start regretting my decision on coming here. I couldn't seem to move as she slowly started walking towards me. My body shook in terror and before everything went dark I quickly mind link my brother."Mason! H-Help me!" 

The pack gathered around for the funeral of Mason’s mate. Her close family and friends were a mess as they said goodbye. As for Mason, he felt absolutely nothing, all his emotions disappeared the moment his love took her last breath. His wolf was no longer responsive and neither was Mason.  

Previously...Layla struggled to breathe as she stared at the dagger in her chest. She was constantly coughed up blood as both Jason and Mason rushed to her side.  They both were in shock as they stared at their luna. Silences filled the area with the only thing being heard was Layla struggling to breathe. The alpha snapped out of his rage as he immediately rushed to his mate's side. Tears immediately filled his eyes as he tried to hold her. Layla's eyes soften as she met Drake's brown teary eyes. Her bloody hand touched his as he flinched.
