It took me by surprise that Gareth had fainted once I finished! Was what I told him really that big of a shocker? Wilder hadn’t had that reaction. Did his father truly have some knowledge on what an elemental was? Luckily he woke up not to long after that.“D-d-did you say e-e-elemental lass?” His ashen face and stuttering confused me. Was it a bad thing then? “Yes?”“I cant believe this. This…..they were gone. He was one? How?”“Hey, Old man! Your muttering to yourself again. Is it really that big of a deal?”

“You should take a quick shower. I think the meditation is definitely doing something. I’ll have some food ready when you get back out.”With that assurance I quickly went to take a shower and grabbed some of Wilder’s clean clothes to wear. We really need to get me some of my own clothes soon. When I hopped into the shower I realized what Wilder must have meant. As I started scrubbing the water had quickly turned murky. Like I had a layer of mud on me. I took the loofah brush and started scrubbing every inch of myself more thoroughly and a bit rougher. *Snap* the brush broke mid scrub. How did that happen? Was it weak or old? I would have to let Wilder know we would need a new one.

The gravity of responsibility to being Wilder’s mate hits me. It wouldn’t be about just being together with him. It would mean taking care of this pack. Being their leader. Would they really accept an outsider like me? I don’t want to let all these people down. I haven’t met many people here but if Wilder cared about them wouldn’t that mean that they had to be good people as well?“Wilder….” I can see the anxiety written on her face. Was she worrying about being luna? Was this a deal breaker to my mate?

It had been a few weeks since my mother’s projection. After seeing her I doubled my efforts to become stronger. As my meditation continued to make my body stronger and more agile I asked Wilder for training. He hadn’t wanted to at first. When I reasoned with him that it would allow me to better protect myself if attacked with those people after me he finally agreed. I had started training with the pack warriors. Wilder’s reassurances that I would be accepted as luna despite being human turned out to be true. He hadn’t told the warriors that my strength and reflexes were far better than a humans though so they took it easy on me at first. Until I wiped the floor with 3 warriors who were treating me as a normal human. Since then they no longer treated me as a simple human.
