“Hi there Ms, can I see your boss” Evette said to the receptionist in front of her. Three days later, the boss as he is mostly called in the office, made up his mind about the executive position that was still open. He had a pending project that needed the expertise of a high end Interior designer and he couldn’t delay anymore. He picked up the phone and made the call himself.“Hello” a female voice sounded from the other side. He cringed. “Hello, may I speak with Ms Scott please?” a male voice beamed. “Which Ms Scott? There are three of them. Is it Bianca, Leah or Evette?” the female voice interrogated deliberately saying Evette’s name last though it’s her cellphone she answered. She arrived home and took a shower soon her back hitting the softness of her mattress easing the tension in her muscles further. She woke up to a curious face of her very obnoxiously nosy baby sister Leah. She was busy staring at her while she slept and it felt creepy. Evette was startled and jumped while saying “Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Leah what are you doing creeping up on me like that? You nearly gave me a heartattack. The day for presentation was finally at hand and the department was busy fixing up the last touches to make a smooth one in order to impress their new bosslady. Through out each small departmental presentation, Evette made a mental note of each presentation that she liked and also highlighted areas which needed to be either removed, improved or changed. Each small department managed to impress her one way or the other but she was still nervous because all these need to impress the big boss. She had mixed emotions because that guy is hard to predict and she is yet to figure out how he reacts to things.After all the presentations were made, Eve got the department working hard.
