All Chapters of THE WRONG WEDDING: Chapter 1 - Chapter 10

Looking down at the laptop screen; brooding and sighing while scrolling down the webpages, occasionally switching to phone to check for messages. This was my current activity. Mind you, it was late at midnight when everyone was fast asleep, safe for the owls, maybe. The reason as to why I was up this late? Well it's simple. I am getting married. 

While Mum and Dad went along to see them off, I stood in my place, awaiting their return. Sorta unsure of my feelings; kinda numb I guess. Before I could snap out of it, Mum and Dad came back into the room and became silent. I watched them as they glared at me. Sensing my retreat, they began. "What was the meaning of that? Would you mind explaining?" Dad seethed, his eyes blazing coals. I stopped myself from taking the step which I had almost taken and let go of the big dress which I was holding with my both hands; hoping to not trip over it in my 6 inches h

I nuzzled his neck, tightening my grip on his jacket. I heard him inhale deeply as he held me in his embrace, making my heart beat faster with every passing second. I could feel the heat rising up my cheeks.  Bloody hell. I am falling in love.

I could see her body shaking with rage as she glared at me with a murderous intent. My eyes didn't leave her face. Even as she stomped towards me. Or when she pushed me down with a single shove. My eyes followed her, with every breath in me. 

"—Now we have to listen to these driver maids slander us as well."  I paused at the voice, outside the drawing room. My finger hovering over the message screen, as I blankly stared at my phone. "They are just servants. This is what they do. You don't need to pay any mind to these small people." Her dad interjected and I looked up from my phone to the door, wondering whether to wait here outside the door or quietly leave from the main door.
