              jamie's pov We just arrived at the station. Nicky was inside the office talking to the d.p.o. Haley was asked to go home, my mom looked like she would pass out at any moment and courtney and i were panicking. Suddenly nicky came out of the office, my mom rushed up to him asking questions that i couldn't quite comprehend, instead he just replied and gave her a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes saying "mom its nothing you know how dad hates paying for parking tickets so that's why he was arrested, jamie could you please take her home" i saw a look of relief wash over mom's features obviously believing the shady lie nicky just told.
