Slam. "you son of a bitch" whack. That was the first thing i saw and heard when i got to the scene of the commotion. Immediately nicky and some other police men rushed up to the two men as i saw my dad expressionless body being hurled across the station grounds, inevitably resulting in being beaten to a pulp. Crying softly unto courtney's arm i was able to see nicky seperating the two men, the man unknown since i couldn't see his face from where i stood. The press gathered and the whole place was filled with paparazis of different nature each trying to get a glimpse at the guy, whoever he was he was surely a big hit.
Eventually the commotion died down. It seems they were able to seperate the both of them. The unknown guy dissapeared as soon as everything was over not leaving any traces behind. So the police arrested my dad seemingly charged for two crimes, the first one which was more of an headache than a silly fight. Nicky came over to us yelling above the noisy crowd " lets go, lets go we will come back later its not safe here" courtney and i obliged quietly as we turned to leave, It was as if a rain cloud dropped on my head as i suddenly remembered and shouted at the same time "mom Is still here". Immediately nicky's and courtney's eyes snapped to mine as they stared at me accusingly, of course It was my fault i was the one who left mom alone just so i could feed my curiosity. "spread out find her, jamie where did you leave her" nicky asked "the parking lot, yeah i left her at the parking lot before..............." i was unable to complete my sentence as nicky interrupted me harshly "before you went about poking in others business" " its my business too because he Is my.............. " again i was interupted but this time from courtney." guys this Is not the main point now, we need to find mom and your bickering isn't helping" i think we all understood what courtney meant as we went to find mom. I checked the inside of the station, as nicky went to the parking lot, and courtney checked the side walk.
Moments later we all met at the parking lot with still no sign of mom. Nicky tried phoning her but we got no response. "maybe she went home" courtney suggested. "yeah that Is a probability i think we should head home the next step would be taken from there" he agreed. So we all came to a conclusion that she went home. The air in the car was unusually tense, all of us trying to comprehend the fact that all this happened today. Moreover i still had a lot of questions to ask and my curiosity wasn't satiated yet. Walking through the door we immediately went in search of mom. "did you find her" nicky asked us running his fingers through his hair as courtney and i shook our heads signifying a no. "what are we going to do now" courtney inquired looking as troubled as ever. "don't worry guys we would find her" nicky said trying to be the older one "But failing badly as i can clearly see the worry seeping into his eyes." so what if we find her, are we really going to keep this from her" i asked restlessly. "yes we would do all in our power to keep It from her and by we i mean all of us including you jamie" nicky answered. I sighed uncomfortably the floor suddenly becoming interesting, i had always been bad at keeping secrets. "But guys murder Is a bad thing, what if dad Is sentenced to death, you know he confessed to killing Mr. Knight but still refused to give a valid reason for the murder". Immediately i said that i heard a loud thud behind me. With our mouths agape we turned around to face...............................

Haley was asked to go home, my mom looked like she would pass out at any moment and courtney and i were panicking.
