The blast's shockwave sent her flying, and as she fell, she broke two ribs. When she was getting up, she saw Merlin. She realized that he commanded the monsters. But then she also saw Zeldrys, and was even more worried. She concealed her presence, trying to protect the village from the shadows... But there wasn't much she could do. At the beginning of our story, the group of heroes first got together to rescue Rachel, a White wizard that was kidnapped because of a specific aura that she emits called "essence of divinity". That is why Richard, Legend and Meg went to a town in the dessert called Salvation. There they met Nimrod, a scoundrel that mainly cared about money, but in the end became an ally. Our heroes faced a powerful Dark wizard called Merlin, who was attempting to bring Adramellech of destruction from the Dark dimension. When he was about to kill our heroes, he was interrupted by the voice of a woman, presumably an ally of his. After the ordeal, it was decided that to protect the world from the evil that was trying to destroy it, they needed to find the arsenal of light. So far, we heard of the Sword of Light, which is in Legend's possession; Titan, Kohrr's shapeshifting weapon; and the Staff of Zoe, the "Life Bringer" according to Meg. There was a violent explosion. After that everything went blank... ~ Three hours earlier~Everything in Dalmacia seemed to be covered with layer upon layer of tension. There weren't any birds singing. The wind wasn't blowing. Even sunlight seemed dim. It was as if everyone knew. But no one dared to come out and say it. Over at a local tavern, we find Cid (Richard's swdtech teacher who also taught Legend) and a couple regulars. Other than them, things are pretty much dead. The first line of defense was forced to withdraw due to the massive number of enemies they faced.
