The girls had settled into a comfortable routine, Anna would make breakfast, while Nicole prepared for work. Nicole mostly left her on her own in the mornings, but by noon her friend would leave her workplace and the two girls would go exploring.It was sundown, and the girls were sharing a large tub of ice cream in front of Nicole's large TV, watching crappy romcoms and giggling like schoolgirls. They ended their movie marathon by watching the notebook and even although the two friends watched it together, Anna was almost in tears as the movie credits rolled in.They settled into a comfortable silence as laid down, side by side on the flo

      The unknown lady stared at the expression on their faces, noticing the confused glance they sent each other before the conclusion that settled on both their faces.    She laughed hysterically; it was so unexpected that it prompted the two girls to join in.

  The next day, Anna woke up feeling feverish. Her head was pounding and her mouth felt like sandpaper. She felt very nauseous and lightheaded, and not to mention dizzy.     Something was definitely wrong with her. She dreaded pills and hospitals but it looked like she didn't have a choice because immediately Nicole saw her; she got her car keys and drove her straight to the hospital.

        "I don't understand why you can't stay here." Frustration laced her voice as she dutifully helped her friend to pack her clothes.       Anna sighed closing her box, "I have a life to get back to Nicole, I can't put my life on hold forever plus I have a job, you don't expect me to stay here and twiddle my thumbs forever."
