"Hey, It's Lexi." I say into the phone, the next morning. I only have to be at work in an hour. It's seven o'clock, so I have a tiny bit of time to do what I want to. "Hello Lexi. I need you at the office." Diether orders. Never mind then. "Alright. I'll be there in fifteen minutes." I say. He ends the call, but I look down at my clothing. Damn. I'm in sweat pants and a shirt. I run up the stairs, I throw on black chinos and a white blouse, and finally, I put on my leather jacket and motorcycle boots, and I leave my hair in its curls, and rush down to the office on my motorbike. I arrive there, and check my watch. I'm two minutes early. I breathe a sigh of relief  and run quickly to my office. I throw off my motorcycle boots, swapping them for sandals, I take off my leather jacket, leaving only the white blouse, and I fluff my hair a little, and run back to Diether's office.&n

I check my watch. Dylan and I had a really nice lunch. I would now call us friends. I learnt a lot more about him that I didn't know before, and he learnt a lot about me, and the life of a medical student. Diether dropped himself off at the office again and then gave me my keys back to my car. I have to get ready for tonight, as I am going on a date with my boyfriend, Kevin. We met in a Varsity, when he was studying an engineering degree, and I was studying medicine. I smile as I walk into my bedroom, and look at the framed pictures of him and I. There is a picture of us sharing ice cream, where our noses are both dotted with chocolate ice cream. Another   captures the moment of us kissing on New Year's Eve. However, my all time favourite, is one with me and him when we are playing in the snow. I am on his back and he is looking up and me, laughing, while I am looking at the camera with a wide smile. It captures one my most precious memories of him.

The next morning, i get changed into running shorts, a sports bra and nikes. I tie my hair back, and plug my earphones in. I grab my water bottle, and head out for a jog. I pass the park where I grew up and run to my parents house. I reach their house in an hour. I ring the doorbell breathless. The gate opens and I run quickly inside. "Hey Kiddo!" My Dad waves. He is working on his car again. He loves his cars a lot. "Hey Dad." I run up to him and give him a hug. "Working on Firsty again?" I ask referring to the car. He smiles. "Yup." He takes a spanner and winds it around. "Mom's is in the kitchen. She wanted to make muffins for our favourite doctor." "Sweet. Thanks Dad." "So what about my job at the hospital?" I inquire. "I've thought about that, and I think that it would be a good idea if you quit your job and move with me in England. We are getting pretty serious. After all, we are going to start a family one day. You won't have to work then, as the job offers good pay, good enough for us to live in luxury. Lexi,  we are raising a family. What more could you need?" He squeezes my hand again. Hurt and disbelief rush through me. "I haven't worked my butt off for seven years for nothing! How can you just expect me to just gather up my things and rush out after you? Yes, I want a family. I want kids of my own, but I'm still young. I have worked like a freaking dog this year, trying to pass my exams, I have had to get a bloody second job to pay of my student loan for goodness sake. I can't just up and leave all this!
