"Tis a boy!""Ay, Maman would be pleased."Theresa sat in the middle of the crowd, gripping tight the hem of her T-shirt which hugged her body in the right places. Her palms were moist and her breathing, rasped as she anticipated the horrific scene that was about to play out in front of her. "Don't kill the baby," she whispered to herself.Margaret had called her that afternoon to the house, posing an emergency. When she got there, in record timing, she dragged her to the theatre, making Sam drive them all the way. It was the opening show, 'Antonius Brood' and she didn't want to go on that interesting voyage alone so, she'd brought them along much to Theresa's liking as she had spent the better part of the day in bed.  Everything about the events of the night before contributed to the sharp pain she'd felt in her head that morning.           Four days had gone by since she moved into the Johnson's house and so far, she's been enjoying her stay: courtesy of Margaret. The only 'difficulty' she presumed she'd encounter: Sam, had barely been around in the past days as he had attended a board meeting, alongside Robert in the outskirts of the city and they'd only just came home yesterday.Sam devoured his pancakes and citrus juice in delight. If there's anything he had missed more than seeing Theresa's face, it would be Margaret's cooking. Due to the location of the meeting, the only five star hotel in the area had been booked. So, he had to stayat a motel and the breakfast they had served made him nauseous.           Robert gulped down what was his ninth shot of tequila, his face crumpled tight as he downed another one almost immediately. He let out a huff at the effect the alcohol was beginning to have on him and yet again, poured himself another shot. This seemed like the only remedy for all the different emotions he was feeling at the moment. After he'd left George Brown's confinement, he'd gone to the bar, not stopping for any pleasantries with the lot who greeted him. He'd finally 'taken care' of the man behind Mary's death, or at least, the executioner. He was supposed to feel some kind of relief right? After he had put a few calls through to him the day before, Charles claimed his schedule was occupied for the next two days but promised to come by the weekend.            Robert threw the duffel bag over his shoulders which eventually landed in the other end of the room. He drew open that cabinet again, scattering it's content all over the floor, unsure if he had searched it properly the last eight times. Frustration washed him when his search came out fruitless. He ran a hand through his hair and began pacing the length of the room, trying to figure out how his manuscript got lost. He remembered tucking into that cabinet had just emptied but now.
