kuteesa Frank
Tsote has grown up in Marakusha under the care of Thalko the village chief and commander of the king’s armies.
Thousands of years ago the Yakunko seized the Tonyam throne from its rightful rulers unleashing an era of unrest among their sister clans. With the help of an extra-ordinary black stone known as the Inka seed, the Yakunko Transformed into a monstrous form known as the Krota feared and dreaded by all non-Yakunko clans.
At the age of ten, the krota is expected to manifest in every male Yakunko but in three days, Tsote will turn fifteen without having felt his Krota. The Krota defined a Yakunko male a true warrior but the same Krota was the root cause of the differences amongst the Yakunko and their sister clans, which he wished he could change, had he the opportunity and ability to.
The lack of his Krota attracted him despise and bullies from the best trainees leaving him just one friend, Makita! When he learns he is a Yakunko Prince raised far away from the magnificent King’s palace in Sambura city, and that his father is the said-to-be-mad king suffering from the haunt of a legendary ghost Krota, something inside him changes.
Having been raised Tsote in secret; he too turns to secretly breaking several of the rules given to him from birth by Thalko his caretaker. From Mama Elsa, a blind storyteller, he learns that his mother left him an inheritance of Magical Olko beads with a promise that the beads will guide him to all the answers, he needed.
