It was scary. He put a hand under my chin and lifted it. He was pretty big. I felt like a tiny crab next to a huge lobster. His eyes were dark brown. Did I mention that I have a thing for guys with dark eyes? What The young Tanz leaned down to me and kissed me gently on the mouth. Very easily. Quite different from Jona always. I forbade myself any further thought. That didn't really matter now. I hadn't even noticed that I had closed my eyes. When he got up I opened it again. We looked deep into each other's eyes, deeply, deeper than I had ever done with anyone. Well, he was grinning, which made it a little unromantic. And the laughter from his father and brother wasn't really pleasant either, but it could have been worse. Vengeance is sweet.
