THE DANCING WARRIORS

Third person POV

“That’s so unfair for Stone. Shifting should not be allowed”, Jacob complained.

“Don’t worry Kyle will not need to shift”, John smirked.

“Let’s see about that”, Michael chuckled.

“You wanna bet ?”, Ian smugged. “Loser pays $50 to the winner.”

“$500”, raised Lee.

“Done”, Xavier chuckled.

“We get 1 month of clubbing free”, the Green Smoke Gang cried out in excitement.

“You can still run back home, baby girl”, Kyle taunted.

However, Niyah simply turned her back towards him and faced the audience with closed eyes.

She slowly swept her left foot just above her right knee and gracefully swung her hands in a circular motion and folded her hands just above her head .

It looked like she was praying to the Moon Goddess for divine energy.

She bowed her head and let her forehead touch the ground as if withdrawing to her own world.

She stood up gracefully, oblivious to her surroundings as a calm breeze broke the almost deathly silence that enveloped the audience.

The crowd could feel her energy as if under a spell.

Even Kyle seemed to have got lost in the beauty of her movements and continued to stare at her back.

The speakers suddenly blared out shaking Kyle out of the trance as he advanced towards the gracefully still figure in front of him with huge strides and his fist tightly pumped, ready to knock out his easy prey.

“You should’ve listened to my warning, baby girl”, he said as he approached his female opponent and directed a punch in her direction.

However, to everyone’s surprise Kyle only managed to hit thin air.

Reflexively, he shot up his head to see the lithe dancing figure of his opponent back flip over his head in a perfect arch and land softly on her toes as she twirled around, again facing the crowd with closed eyes and her back towards Kyle.

Every move she made, fit to the beat of the music. It seemed like her soul had entered into a far away musical world.

Wasting no time, Kyle soon reached to the opposite side, his perfectly toned muscles flexing as he danced his way and prepared to launch himself yet again on the heavenly beauty.

It was hard to imagine a man with such a rippling physique to contort to dance styles that demanded such high flexibility for flexibility was usually sacrificed by the body at the altar of strength.  

However dancing was something that Kyle knew as well as warfare.

 This time he reached out for her legs but was soon sent crashing to the opposite side as his adversary launched multiple leg kicks on him while amazing the audience with her effortless body rolls in mid air.

“You are good”, Kyle smirked as he wiped off the blood from his mouth and gave an evil side smile to his attacker.

Eyes now open, Stone stood in the middle of the arena while executing a series of pirouettes as if she was just meant to dance to the music that set her soul on fire.

Kyle glided towards his challenger but this time jumped over her and launched an attack behind her.

When he was just a few inches far from her, Stone suddenly lowered her core and executed a smooth dance split and attacked the man’s sensitive crotch area with her strong elbow as she stood up to continue her dance as if nothing happened.  

“YOU LITTLE BITCH”, Kyle fumed as he fell on his knees due to the stinging pain he felt bolt up in his body. 

It was surprising that such a delicate creature could give such strong blows.

As the music drew to its end, Kyle bolted one last time towards Niyah as he shifted into his wolf mid-air.

However, Stone did not stand still this time and instead, picking up on the fast beat of the dying down music, Niyah jumped up high and leveraging on Kyle’s shoulders, struck the back of his skull with a forceful blow.

The two landed on opposite sides but the huge grey wolf fell on the ground unconscious as it started to transition back to his human form.
