20. How

“Azrael…AZRAEL look at me!” 

     I felt frantic He was unconscious his big fame limp in my arms. Is this even possible he’s the Angel of Death the Alpha Lycian, he heals instantly. Why didn’t his wounds heal, all I could smell was his blood there was so much. It didn’t have that metallic coppery smell it was his smell a  sweet dark chocolate. I could feel my fangs extending I was scared for Azrael but anger filled me.

“ALISTAIR help me get him someplace to lay him down.” 

     He was already standing next to me Grabbed Azrael by his arms and we carried him to a sitting room I didn’t pay much attention earlier to. Laid him down on a dark leather chasse lounge in front of another stone fire place.

“Go get clean towels and water so I can start to clean him up and a needle and thread.”

     I stared at him just laying there hopeless he was the most powerful supernatural I have ever met or heard of except my mother. He was still naked I went to find a blanket to cover him. Alistair was back before me with every thing I asked for.

“Why hasn’t he healed yet? I thought he healed instantly, what or who could of done this to him. Where did he go when he left here?”

“Luna I’m not sure only a few things in this world can harm him. All are very hard to come by unless he came across a powerful witch. Those sneaky bitchs have all kinds of things up there sleeves.”

“ Witches really I thought they was all about nature and whatever what would they gain by hurting him?” 

“I don’t know Luna, but by the looks of those wounds he got lucky. I have never seen him like this.”

     Worry filled me how long as Alistair known Azrael and never seen him hurt this bad. I have been here just a short time I hope I didn’t have anything to do with it. The gashes on his chest are so deep they would of killed a human by now. I got most of the blood cleared way the worst wound was on his abdomen. the gash went past the muscle bearly containing every inside. I stiches the worst of them it didn't look so bad now he had started healing. I tried to think of more I could do but came up blanket.

“You are part angel Luna you should be able to heal him.”

“Heal him how? Tell me I will try anything.”

“Your light! I’m not sure how it works but I have seen it done hold your hand above where he’s hurt and I don’t know think of him being healed. Or you can always try giving him your blood.” 

“My blood how would that help?”

“If you are his true mate you can heal each other through blood.” 

     Holding Azrael’s hand I thought about it I haven’t had any real luck with anything angel in the past. So I can give him my blood. What if it didn’t work would that mean he wasn’t my mate? Where would I go from there? I would give him my blood if it worked I would stay and if not I was going to run maybe Reign could help me get Aurora back. I would force my self to forget everything that happened and the way I have been feeling. Still so many questions I needed answered, but what would be the point of staying if he wasn’t my mate? Right? I bit my wrist and opened his mouth and placed it there and waited as my blood dripped into his throat. For moment nothing happened, then he stirred and sucked hard on my wrist, and brought his hand up and held it tight against his mouth. I watch has his cuts grew smaller it Actually was working I truly was his mate. A smile spread across my face, only to be short lived and I started to see stars.

“Azrael stop please.” 

     He gripped me harder And pierced my skin with his fangs. There was nothing I could do black started to creep around the edges of my vision. I had to do something I pushed against him with every thing I had ln me.

“AZRAEL STOP!” 

     A last effort I pushed against him feeling a warmth leaving my hand and a bright light fill the room. Something hard hit my back and the world around me went dark. I could hear low voices around me one deep and held the sound of my most recent favorite song the other light and husky. 

“Alpha what happened?”

“Balthazar! He betrayed us.” 

“How he doesn't know much you, what would anyone want from him? You have always keep him at distance.”

“Doesn’t  matter he’s my brother and he betrayed me. I had to kill him, but not before he got a few good hits in.”

“How did he even manage that, let alone get one over on you as he did.”

“He knew about Solaris! Alistair  how could he know she’s only been here a few days and even she doesn’t know where here is. "

“Maybe someone has been fallowing her she dose kind of  stick out, her aura screams power. It can’t be hidden from everyone someone has to of noticed her though the years.”

“I thought of that to. He had a celestial blade. And a few witches I could smell them.”

“Where the hell did he get that only Archangels have them, its not like you can just go pick one up?”

“ I don’t know, but If he has one she’s in danger. It disappeared after I killed him with it. How is she going to feel about me now losing control again it’s not like me I almost drained her.”

“Yes, but did you see how she flung your ass across the room your little wolf is a little atomic bomb. You know for sure now she’s your mate her blood healed you. She maybe a little pissed but she’s not going to leave you she's to curious.”

“I hope so we have much to talk about.”

     I finally fell into a deep sleep the voices fading into nothing. I dreamed of Angels and a great battle with demons in the middle glowed a bright light. The light burst sending a wave making everything disappear except one a black wing angel that lifted a dark hair girl from the center tears flowing from his face as the girl turned into shimming dust in his hands.
