21. Scared

I woke up on the same chasse lounge we had laid Azrael on. He was sitting on the floor next to me head on my stomach facing me holding my hand the other wrapped around my waist. He was sleeping I ran my fingers threw his hair admiring how peaceful he looked. My mind flashing back to him covered in blood he looked fine now not wearing shirt he managed to put shorts on. My wrist was wrapped in bandages remembering how he wouldn’t stop. How did I get him to stop?

“Little wolf are you alright? I’m so sorry.”

His eyes looked so pathetic this big powerful man look wretched with pain and sadness. What can I do to make this look leave his face I wanted his smile.

“Come here!”

I put my hand on his cheek and pulled with the other to bring him closer to my face.

“Don’t you ever do that again. Never come back to me like that I felt like I was losing my world.”

I started crying. I have never wept this much as I have this these past few days.

“None of that Little Wolf we are both okay. Let me see your wrist. I tried to get you to drink my blood, but you was out cold.”

Before he could look at my wrist, overwrought with emotion I started kissing him. He kissed me back with the same frantic movement hands lips tongues moving anywhere they could find skin. It was reassurance he was still here and in one piece, I have already look passed his over zealous drinking.

“I know Solaris, I feel it to. But please let me see your wrist.”

He slowly pushed me away and began removing the bandages it stung when he reached the last wrap. I gasped in horror it wasn’t just fang marks there was a chunk missing. He literally took a bite out of me I felt sick my stomach started rolling I was going to throw up. I got up and ran to the kitchen sink and it all just poured out on me. He was there holding back my hair I pushed his hands away from me and backed away till my back hit the counter.

“Solaris please calm down I didn’t mean to hurt you I was weak and your so intoxicating I lost control, please for give me!”

He had his hand up in surrender I was going to forgive until I realized he almost ate me. I was scared now what the hell do I do now every part of my body said run, but my heart was breaking at the thought of being away from him.

“I was ready to forgive you when I thought it was just a bit of blood, but you literally tried to eat me. And before you took blood from with out asking. What am I supposed to think of you!”

I was yelling he tried to speak I hushed him with a wave of my hand.

“I have been here what almost a week I think cause I don’t really know. And in that time you have made me feel things I didn’t know I could feel, took my body to places I have never could of imagined and we haven’t even had sex. Put my life in danger twice when you say the only thing you wish to do is protect me. Made me do things I never pictured my self doing like forcing me to blood share with you. You saved me once now I have saved you we are even.”

He was taking hesitant steps towards me. I put out my hand to stop him when he made contact with my palm the same warm electric current shot through me.

“I can’t say anything to make you realize how sorry I truly am, I am feeling the same things you are Little Wolf it just seems I’m am weaker then you when it comes to holding my self back.”

Even with my arm fully extend he could still reach my hips with his hands . Using his strength he pull his self against me, my breath cached his Campfire scent filling my senses. I can’t fight him my body just won’t do it when my brain tells it to. when my body wants to run my heart refuse to let go. I’m his in just this short time I can’t walk away I think It will break me.

“Why is your bite taking so long to heal I may not heal as fast as you do but a day or two usually there’s nothing to see.”

“Well I’m not your average Lycian or Angel for that matter most die after I bite them human and supernatural alike. I knew you wouldn’t cause of what you are and you had my blood.”

“So you bit me with out even knowing if I would live, the blood isn’t a guaranty unless we are mates you didn’t know if I was at that point in time.”

Anger filled me what the hell he could of killed me and he knew it he didn’t care he just wanted to see if I was his mate regardless if I died or not. Wait or did he know there's a possibility he is the angel of death.

“Did you know for sure I wouldn’t die from it?"

He stepped back and released me I was still so pissed my hands balled into fists.

“Look I can see many different scenarios but I’m never sure which one will happen so no I didn’t know for sure.”

I saw red the next thing I know I was punching him square in the jaw. He fumbled back a bit rubbing his face spiting some blood on the floor.

“You ever play with my life like that again. The only death you will see coming is your own.”

I stomped my way outside I wanted to shift and run but I couldn’t I didn’t even know where I was the woods didn’t even smell the same around here.

“Soul please let me explain, and take some of my blood so you can heal.”

“Is that your answer for Everything blood? Your not a fucking leech you’re a Lycian. I have seen those soulless blood suckers there relentless you are not that.”

“No I’m not but everything starts from somewhere there is much you don’t know about the world just give me a chance to explain it to you.”

“That’s all I have wanted sence I tried to find you. ANSWERS!”

“I will answer any questions you have just come back inside where it’s safe and let me heal you.”

I had no where else to go I had to get Aurora back if I was going to ever get out of here whole.

“Fine but put it in a glass I can’t touch you and talk.”
