Make sure you read our Author's Guidebook first.Here are 3 things you might want to check after you sign the contract with GoodNovel:1. Fill in your payment info so that we'll be able to pay you. Go to your personal page using a DESKTOP and you'll find it. (You can't fill in payment info on your phone)2. Usually, after you have 15 chapters, you can apply for premium. Talk to your editor after you upload 50k words and they will arrange recommendations for your books so that more readers will be able to see it.#Can I edit my book after I sign the contract?
Yes. But if it's a major change, please inform your editor about it first because after you sign the contract. All edits will need to be reviewed by your editor in the system. But don't worry, the unedited version will still be there before the edit gets approved.
#I upload a chapter twice by mistake, now I can't delete it, what should I do?
You can delete the chapters in your signed books. But your editor can, so please talk to them and they can delete for you.
#My book is complete, how do I mark it complete?
Just tell your editor and they can mark it complete for you. Notice: Once it's marked complete, you can't add new chapters to it. But you can edit the existing chapters. Also, you could ask your editor to change the status from complete to ongoing.
#I want to write a sequel for my contracted book, can I get a contract for it?
You can apply for contract for this book, and you'll get a contract if it meets our standards.
#I asked my editor to lock the chapters/delete a chapter/review an edited chapter for me, but it's still not locked/deleted/reviewed when I check them.
It's because you checked using your mobile phone and your own account. Chapters are not locked to their own authors, so you need to log out of your account. Also, If you want to check any changes made to your book, please use a DESKTOP website, or clear your phone cache first!! Becasue the content you opened on your mobile phone before will never change unless you clear cache and reopen it. If it's still not locked, please contact your editor after 24hrs and ask again.
#Why is my attendance bonus showing $0? What does it mean?
"Data concerned...." means that the bonus number may not be correct, as it's based on data 2 days ago. Your current month's payment may show incorrectly because the system is still calculating, or you haven't updated for 20 days a month. The correct number usually shows in the beginning of the next month.

# How do I apply for contract?When uploading a book on our platform, you will need to register an account on our website first and then start uploading your book chapter by chapter. When you create a new book, the synopsis and book cover needs to be reviewed to make sure there's no infringement or anything inappropriate. The reviewing process normally takes a few working days.
