THE BETRAYAL

 "I can't believe we're actually getting married" Beverly squilled with delight as she jumped into Gabriel's arms. Beverly Jones is the girl Gabriel met through his best friend in his final year in college and the have been together ever since. She had stood by him when his father died three years ago and he felt she was the right woman to make the new lady of the Beau manor.

Beverly is a petit twent-two year old blond bombshell, with green eyes and cherry pink lips, she was five foot five inches tall and from New York. She didn't have any family, she grew up in an orphanage. She had been working at a local bar in New York, when she met Gabriel Beau, he had come into the bar with his friends and one of them had been an old friend of Beverly's, and the rest as they say is history.

"Well you better believe it, cause you mon cher will soon be my wife, and mother to our baby" Gabriel said with a loving smile as he placed a loving hand on Beverly's flat tummy. She let out a soft laugh and replied before kissing him lovingly

"And neither can i"

"Come on on, i have something to show you" he said breaking off the kiss, and taking her by the hand he said, "close your eyes" which she did obediently, then he slowly led her out of their small apartment off the cost of Lyon. When they where outside Beverly asked

"So? can i open my eyes now?"

with a laugh Gabriel replied

"Yes mon cher"

"Oh my God" Beverly squealed "i love it" she threw her arms around his neck kissing his face all over, before grabbing the keys Gabriel was dangling over her head. Gabriel had gifted his soon to be bride a cherry red Ferarri, right from the moment they had met she had always said the first tihing she would buy for herself when she had enough money would be a cherry red Ferarri, and now she had one of her very own.

Just as she was about to get into the car her phone rang, she took it out of her jeans pocket  looked at display and quickly cut the call, she put the phone back into her pocket then she got into the car and said to Gabriel 

"Get in, we're going for a test drive."

"Sure" Gabriel said with a slow smile as he wondered who could have been calling, "so who was that calling you just now?" he asked casually

"Mitchell, she called me last night saying she was in a tight spot and she needed a little loan, i already told her that i don't have any money but she begged me to ask you and i refused. She was probably calling to beg me again"

Gabriel was quiet for a bit then said, "how much?"

"What?"

"i said how much?"

looking stunned Beverly said "a million"

Without saying a word he took out his phone and transfered some money into her account.

"Done"

Beverly's phone beeped, and she took it out to see that she had just recieved five million Euros, she gasped and turned to look at him wide eyed

"You want me to give her five million?"

"Give her what she needs and keep the rest, i never want to hear you say you don't have money ever again, is that understood?"

Beverly couldn't speak instead she just nodded. Gaberiel smiled and said

"Good, now let's go for that drive".

A month had passed since the proposal and it was a few days to the wedding. Gabriel had been away in London on business and wouldn't be back until the day before the wedding. Beverly had stayed back in Lyon, saying she needed to be around to go over some last minute details with the wedding planner. 

Gabriel smiled as he got out of the Limo and saw the Ferarri in the drive way, he knew Beverly was home, he picked up the bouquet of flowers he had bough on his way home and quickly rushed in. In his hurry he did not notice the sleek black Mercedes that was parked in the garage. As he got closer to their bedroom he could hear soft music coming from the room, and he smiled, but just as he was about to open the door, he heared something else, he heard Beverly's soft laugh as she said 

"i really can't wait for this whole charade to be over, and you and i can go back to our lives"

"Soon enough love, soon. We just need to see this wedding through and our plan will almost be complete, once you're Mrs Beau, you will have access to all his accounts, we will be rich, and then you can divorce him and still get a lot from the divorce as long as he thinks the baby is his" 

"And how are you so sure it's yours?" 

On hearing this the man greabbed her and puuled her closer to him, giving her a deep kiss,the two on the bed were so deeply into each other and what they where saying that they didn't notice that Gariel had entered the room until he spoke.

"A good plan, but there is a problem with that plan" 

the couple on the bed jummped apart when they heard the Gabriel's voice

"You see, no matter how in love you think i am i would never give her access to my accounts, and also there won't be a divorce if there is no wedding, and to think you where my best friend and my would be best man, i never would have guessed that you where the one she was cheating on me with. What? you think i didn't know she was unfaithul? i've always known, i just wasn't smart enough to know who she was cheating on me with."

"Gabriel i can explain..." Chad Swift Gariels best friend for the past eight years said

"Save it. i should have you both arrested but i don't have time for petty nonsense, so i will give you both thirty minutes to vacate my premises and never come back or else..." 

Gariel left the rest hanging and walked out of the house. He came back much later to find the Ferarri still in the driveway, but Beverly and Chad where gone along with all of Beverly's belongings.

That day the wall around his heart doubbled, he was never going to trust anyone ever again let alone let anyone get this close to him to hurt him like this ever again.
