“For my mother,

your love is truly extraordinary

Also my father,

who and wherever he is, because of him, I exist”

______________

PRELIMINARY

Dear readers,

First of all, I will say, "Forgive me profusely."

You must be wondering, why? That's because this is my first story in English. I'm trembling! So, I expect your kindness to scold me a little when I make mistakes like ... mistaken grammar, for example.

Please don't hesitate to warn me if there is something wrong with the sentences in this novel. Your help means a lot to me. I mean, really a lot!

A little story if you allow.

I started writing since I was in middle school and it was a bit chaotic. I mean, my story is really incomprehensible. I really feel fascinated by the new writers lately. Their abilities are truly impressive.

Talk about stories; This is one of the drafts that I have kept quiet all this time. I hope you like it. Just say what is lacking, okay?

This story focuses on a character named Quan Durbysch. She is a girl who comes from the Black nation. Don't get me wrong, Guys.

You will know this isn't about stories about skin color and so on. I guess you already knew when you read the title of this book. Right?

Yep, blood. Blood color, for more details.

Are you curious? I will be very happy if you want to click the + button and wait for it to continue.

Or are you not interested? You know you are free to not read this story, right?

Finally, stay healthy and don't forget to apply health protocols! Hopefully this pandemic will end soon.

________

Orda Rudochfie stopped on his dark horse with a cautious look. The trees around him looked violet under the bluish moonlight. After trying to listen something for a while, Orda ordered his horse again to walk without haste. Occasionally his eyes glanced at the edge of the path he was going through.

The movement in the bushes made Orda stop again. The horse snorted and neighed softly. Orda pulled a double-edged ax that he put on his back. The handle of the object was quite long and silvery in color. Each of the blades had a tiger's horn mark.

"Whoever you are, just get out." Orda said, his voice was steady and calm. But a drop of sweat seemed to drip on his forehead.

The bushes flatten again. A branch broke and a few seconds later the plant parted, revealing a big man in a black robe and blue mask. People of the same appearance began to appear one by one from behind shrubs or trees, some jumped down from the trees themselves.

There are about a dozen of them. Each of them held a weapon similar to a black cone with a handle. Orda knows what that weapon is. The Sword of the Stake, people called it.

The black gang surrounded Orda, while the horse neighed nervously. A look of understanding was evident in the beleaguered eyes.

"What makes you think that I deserve to be followed and surrounded like this?" Orda said stiffly while staring at one of the conspirators who first appeared.

"What makes you think that we can't intercept you here?" The big man asked in a deep voice that was so cold.

Orda's eyes narrowed. His horse was anxiously grunting and he tried to calm that animal.

"You, Lor people, have never felt enough misery for others," hissed the fierce Orda. "For whatever sake, get out of your way!"

A giggling and mocking voice. "Or what, coward?"

The big man took a step forward, looking like the leader of the gang. He put his left hand in his pants pocket. His right hand reached out like he was going to ask for something.

"We know you brought something, Vocaship's Helper," said the man. His voice was still as cold as the Sea of Death. "Give me that thing, and you're free to go. Alive."

"As you can see, Black Chief," scoffed Orda. "I only carry the ax, clothes and robe that I wear. Why do you want these petty things too?"

"Zanxer." The enemy calls an object furiously. "You know very well what it is, damn White Man! Give it to me, or you will die!"

"I don't want to die." Orda grinned, her expression looking strange under the blue moonlight. "And I'm sorry, I don't have the thing you're talking about. Just go to hell, man!"

The big man jumped towards Orda and struck his strange Stake Sword. His movements are very fast and so sudden. Orda parried with his ax and made a strange clanking sound. However, the sudden attack was too shocking Orda. He fell from his horse.

He snorted in pain, but immediately stood up even though he was a little unsteady. The horse jumped, then ran off somewhere.

"I think I know where the hell you mean, coward," said the enemy mercilessly. He turned to his other friends. "What about the idea of searching for hell in the heart of this White?"

Eleven people armed with Stake Swords were dusting simultaneously, accompanied by compact cheers that sounded oddly amidst the silence of the jungle. Orda parried several attacks from them in fast motion. The strange sensation caused by the collision of the two weapons caused Orda arm to ache from time to time.

In the third minute, Orda struggled to swing his ax again. But the ax stopped in the middle of the road as he suddenly jerked forward.

White blood rushed out through his mouth. He looked down and could witness the tip of a black cone that pierced his chest. The Stake Sword was forcibly drawn and Orda fell down. The hole left by the weapon hissed like burning.

The plot searched the dead Orda's body. When finished, one of them shook his head at the big man. The man said nothing, but the look in his eyes hardened and his hands clenched.

"They changed plans, apparently," hissed the big man irritated.

"But our Argas say that Daga will pass through the Moa Forest to Rovega," said one of them.

The big man looked down and looked at Daga who had died below him, as if he were just a caterpillar that had been accidentally stumbled.

"That's true," the man said slowly. His blue and white-patterned eyes flashed furiously. "Too bad the stupid Argas didn't say that there would be 'two' Dagas sent by the Vocaship."

The big man colleagues knew that the poor Argas' life would stop shortly. They have failed to get what they are looking for. However, as many people already know about the reputation of this organization; they will never stop.
