CHAPTER 7

(Laya P.O.V)

  I hate myself when I put other's life in danger for my own goods.

  "Sorry brothers, I know what I make you go through. I don't know how I am going to repay you; But you are my brothers."

  "Don't mention that again, you have told us and we have decided to be with you in this journey." Tarek says.

  "No one is going to be blamed or regret. We are here for you." Samy states.

  "We are by your side no matter what. You have no idea how you changed our life. Because of you, we are somebody, there is a meaning to our life." David states.

  "My brothers are right, we are here and we choose to be here, to be with you with our own willing." Tony says.

  "A bunch of thanks brothers. Your words really help me and give me strength and support. I'll find a way to contact you as soon as possible. Have a good night and take care of each other."

  "Lyly, Nana has health problems and she doesn't want you to know. She is not well." Tarek says.

  "Thank you for informing me."

  I decide that tomorrow, after the arrival of Aly, I will go to see Nana's doctor. I hope nothing serious happens to her.

  Nana left the house in the early morning and Jenny still sleeps in her room. The breakfast is ready on the table and Lou is no where to be seen. After taking my breakfast, I check on Jenny then I go for a short run.

  By 11:00 a.m, Aly was here with all his stuff. Happy to see him after a long time.

  "How was your trip?" I ask.

  "It was long and tirring, I didn't get enough sleep."

  "Well, here the keys of the house."

  "Back to work again huh?" He says.

  "Laziness not allowed, mistakes not allowed and secrets not allowed as well." I state.

  "Any thing else Master?"

  "Nothing for now. Well, as I told you Aly. I need a thorough investigation about these three guys, as possible as you can. And this phone, chech all the numbers, the emails and the messages, please."

  "Ok, take it easy, you are nervous. The calmer you are, the better you think. Go and practice yoga, it is good for you."

  "I can't move freely, I feel threatened when I leave the house, and the worst thing, Nana and Jenny, their life are in danger because of me."

  "Look Laya, as you told me, you didn't make any wrong step that makes them alert or even fight you. Right?"

  "As I know, it is right."

  "Then, it must be something you don't know about. Something done by another person who has a relation with your family and Marcus."

  "Do you mean that...Is Nana hiding something from me? No, she will not do it."

  "Have you ever asked about your parents' accident?"

  "Once or twice, and the answer is the same."

  "Rethink about what I said, I am taking my leave, see you later."

  Aly has a point, whenever I ask her, she changes the subject or loses her temper, so we don't discuss it any more. Why she keeps me in the dark, I hate that, after all they are parent and I have the right to know what happened and why it happened. Since she is not here, I go to here bedroom. Maybe, I can find something helpful.

  I check everything and I find nothing. Today, I'll talk to her about the accident and it is related to mine. So many whys in my life without answers. And all of them are the keys. Whatever she is hiding from me, I must find it out. but Nana is ill, she may get worse if I insist, I know that she is afraid to take my revenge. Did that mean, she risks her life and do it herself to protect me? Does she knows Mr.Finn? There is only one way to figure this out. I try to make all her things the way she puts before leaving her room.

  "Lyly, what are you doing in Nana's room." Jenny asks. Oh shit! what shall I say?

  "I have lost my bracelet that she gave it to me last time. I have looked everywhere but I didn't find it, except your room."

  "I don't think that it is in my room."

  "I'll check it though."

 As I open the door of her room, I find it messy.

  "Jenny! What is that?"

  "Sorry, I will clean it later."

  "How can I find my bracelet in this mess? Come here. Make your bed and open the window. I will prepare a chocolate cake for today."

  "Okay."

  "And check for my bracelet."

  "I will."

 "Jenny, when you were talking to Adam, what did he tell you?"

 "He asked me so many questions."

 "He asks about what excatly?"

 "He asks about my age, my class, my friends, and about you and Nana."

 "What did he say exactly?"

 "He asked me if I have friends, I said no..."

 "What did he ask about me and Nana?"

 "What do you work. Do you love her? Does she treats you good? Does she love you? and the samething about Nana."

 "And?"

 "That is all?"

 "Listen, don't speak with strangers ok?"

 "But he is your friend."

 "No, he is not. If he is a friend of Peter, it doesn't mean that he is my friend."

 "But, you also talked to him."
