Act 1 : Chapter 6

“AEIRA! I SAW ALL OF IT AT YOUR COMPUTER!” I exclaimed

“Holy!! This is why I was hesitant to let you enter my room!” She quickly replied in a panicky voice.

“My phone is already old sister. This is already six years old my dear sister.”

“WHAT DO YOU WANT!? DON’T YOU DARE POST IT ON ANYTHING!!” She angrily told me. I also heard Dad telling Aeira to calm down.

“Aeira. I want the midnight green. I want to tomorrow after you arrived. I’ll be waiting for it.”

“Okay you get what you want with me! Just don’t tell Dad about it or Mom! And don’t you dare post it on any social media sites! PLEASE AEINA!” she said on a very commanding voice that will cry any moment.

“I’ll send you the proofs now.” I heard Dad again talking to Aeira telling her to calm down.

“Aeina! You got your phone okay! Now get out of there! Now!”

“Holyshit sister. How to marry your dad? Really?”

“Can you just please fuck off and be a goner Aeina!?” Her voice became shaky and about to burst.

I told her good bye and sent the pictures for proofs. I texted her that “I won’t accept 256 or the 128gb. I want the 512 with the iCloud storage for a year subscription. What I got was a middle finger. I sent her a picture of me crying due to laughter she gave. Mom then messaged me where I was and told her that I was only at home. I told her also what has happened and what I saw at Aeira’s computer. She didn’t reply. All she sent was a video of them laughing hard while Mom was rolling on the floor laughing.

After an hour, I returned at the Decal Shop and I parked at the empty slot. More people came at the decal shop when Aeira’s car was parked. I talked to Uncle Lanzelot about the car. He suggested that if I entered the car show event I should be the one who model my own car. Of all the categories my car can enter the showcase. He also said that this Eclipse is the most beaut among all the cars he handled. He even said to me that he will be the one who’ll engineer the audio system and all of the accessories that will be needed. Uncle Lanz then proceed to put his own logo at the windshield and at the rear. He also put the logo I wanted at the driver’s side. While the other doors were a bar code with our birthday.

I entered their house and I heard an intense laughing coming from the room of Aunt Mavis. As I entered the room I saw both of them laughing hard and loud again.

“Mom?” I greeted them.

“Hello! Hahaha! I still cannot believe Aeira!” she said as she wipes her tears from laughing.

“Hi godchild of mine that’s beautiful but Aunt is more beautiful than you!” Aunt Mavis greeted me as she hugged me as always. She’s that fond of us.

“Mom. Please give Aeira some checkups. Her head is kinda messed up. Better call a mental institution for her.” I told mom with irritated voice.

“Right! I already suggested it to your Mom earlier but she just laughed at me.” Aunt Mavis told me while mom was still recovering.

“I have to go Mom. I need to buy something at the Mall.” I told Mom and waved goodbye at her. She then gives me the thumbs up sign.

I rode my old car as I returned home. I asked Uncle Lanz if he wanted something at the Mall but he said none. I quickly drove as I drive I noticed that I was only wearing a tank top and a cargo pants but I was wearing rubber shoes. I think I made myself looked like an Uber Driver. But it’s okay. There’s no one will ride with me anyway. It was a miracle that our small town had traffic. I took a detour route which is by the way was a small intersection with smelly garbage. I arrived at the mall without the traffic. I quickly entered the known sportswear brand and grabbed a new helmet, air jacket refills, and some gloves.

I also bought new sunglasses. I also purchased some RAM/Memory sticks for my pc. There’s no queue at the bank so I deposited my money quite fast. I was on the road going home when the hologram flashed “You’ve Obtained “Fragments of Memory of the First Date.” “New Key Location found!!” “New Event can be seen in Ethereal Form!!” “New Phrases can be inserted!!”

Dominique also texted me if we can meet and I told him yes about it. I told him that I will be waiting at the Coffee Shop near the parking area. I returned to my car to put all the things I purchased at the trunk. As I entered the said Coffee Shop I quickly saw Dominique.

“Hey!” I greeted him.

“Hello. So, how was the “machine”? He quickly asked me.

“I’ve unlocked companions and some memories and the rules were updated”

“So you’ve got already two companions. I’m hoping its at least Very Rare. They help a lot.”

“I’ve got Ultra and Mega though.”

“Wow! That’s great! Who’s the ultra?” He excitingly asked.

“Hikari’s Ghost. And the Dog was called “Beck”.

“That’s good. My companion is also a ghost and a cat.”

“How they can help though?” I innocently asked.

“Well if you bring them at certain places they will always tell you what to do in that event. Sometimes they also can change something to correct the flow of time.”

“How can we do that? I can show you my Companions.”

“Sure.” He answered.

I shake the ring and then the hologram opened. The interface was updated, the old was only full of dialogue box but this one got now a new option at the hologram. I tapped on the “Companion” option and checked Hikari’s Ghost and Beck’s Ghost. In an instant Aunt Hikari and Beck came out.

“WHAT! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED!” Aunt Hikari exclaimed and then Beck barked at her. Aunt Hikari then gave Beck a pat in the head. I asked Dominique if he can see them and he only answered by moving his head upward.

“Yours are a lot cooler. Seems to be they are Master and Slave type.” He mumbled.

“Hey! Beck is not a slave! Take it back you dummy!” Aunt Hikari told Dominique.

“Whoa there miss ghost. I’m sorry. Just chill okay?” Said by Dominique in a calm voice.

“Sorry my ass! I don’t like you one bit!”

“Chill! He’s not an enemy.” I told the ghost who I think is mad.

“She’s a Master Type Companion. The dog is the slave. You can now recall them back.” Dominique instructed me.

“Nah. Let them be there. Can’t you see that they’re happy? I think it’s a Reunion.”

“It’s been a long long long time Beck!” Aunt Hikari exclaimed as she gently stroke the mammal.

Dominique explained all the types of Companions. What I got was the Master and Slave type. I can command them to anything especially if they are alive on that timeline; it’s one of the traits. After 30 minutes they’ve instantly vanished. Dominique also noted that they can appear anytime if I found a place that they frequent when they are alive or they have “memories” that they knew. I asked Dominique about what ifs. I told him that; what  if I entered my companion’s old house? What would I see on that? He just answered me confidently that most of their “memories” will be unlocked. I also let Dominique peak at the memories I have. He was shocked that I already had almost half of the memories. He then copied all of it and then thought me the arrangements on how to watch it.

I tried to watch the “Fragments of Memory of First Date.” I was hoping that I will see Mom but I was gravely mistaken. It was another woman with Dad. She sure has the height. She stands about 5’8, tanned, and almost as the same body as Aeira. Mom’s figure is different, it was just plain straight but with the woman with Dad? It was like seeing a a bottle of a 500 ML coke. Her legs are also quite long. The woman then smiled at Dad; what I saw is she exactly looked like Aeira just tanned.

It was like a time lapsed video. They entered the cinema then after 3 seconds they are now in the exit line smiling at each other. After they exited the cinema the hologram flashed a warning “File is incomplete. File is now exiting.”

Dominique and I wondered about what we just saw. He even said that it wasn’t the one he expected it to be. His file was different he told me. He bid good bye and then vanished into thin air. He warped back to his “present” whilst it’s my “future”. Mom called me to let me know that Aunt Mavis’ son who was named Maverick or Mavs arrived. If Dad wasn’t available to meddle with, Maverick is the favorite of Aeira. Maverick loved Aeira. Maverick confessed as early as we entered Grade 7.
