In a bedroom well furnished and decorated with portrait and murals of a beautiful light-skinned lady, the portrait of this lady was placed on the wall, there were a lot of the murals in the black decorated room.

On the big king size bed, neatly made with two straight back chairs, laid a man lost in thought looking at the big portrait of the lady who was dressed in a black beautiful exposing long dinner gown

The dress brought out her exquisite figure.

The lady on the portrait was well decorated with jewellery. On her neck lay a delicate dazzling heart-shaped diamond pendant. The solid heart-shaped mounting is 14kt Yellow Gold with a strongly defines Heart Shaped. Clean distinct lines! The pendant contains 30 full-cut diamonds with l1 clarity, H-1 colour, summing, 50 cartels total weight. The heart pendant is suspended from a sturdy, 18", 14kt yellow gold link chain  with a 14kt  yellow gold lobster claw clasp.

On the lady's hand laid a diamond tennis bracelet, the brilliant solid 14kt black diamond bracelet has interlocking links containing 38 full-cut diamonds. The brilliant diamond is prong-set, 2.00 carats total weight and have a wonderful clarity of s12-l1. The Diamond colour is H-1 colour ( near colourless).

The man on the bed kept looking at the mural, lost in thought.

But his thoughts were cut short by the constant ringing of his phone. Annoyed by the fact that he was brought back to earth by the caller. Allen Paul answered the phone with a lot of anger and rage. Allen Paul  greeted the caller with an ear-piercing shout. Allen Paul shouted at the caller saying

You of all people should know, I hate being disturbed on the 21st of August, why the call

At the other end of the call, the caller chuckled with amusement not minding Allen Paul cold voice

Aren't you going to her death anniversary? I expected you to go there, you know how sister-in-law is. She will get mad at you for not paying respect to her

But on a serious note, you do not know when next you will be seeing the four walls of this city, you don't even know if you will be able to make it alive. Anyway, I have something important to tell you. It's about Miranda, my sister-in-law if you want to know what it's about to meet me at Nicki bar by 4 pm at our usual seat. I don't want to wait for you. Goodbye bro sees you at 4 pm.

At the bar

  After some hours of waiting for Lucas at the bar, Allen Paul got tired of drinking, smoking and waiting so he stood up to leave but immediately he wanted to leave Lucas walked in and took a seat close to Allen Paul with a smirk on his face. Out of anger Allen Paul gave Lucas a big punch on his face for making him wait too long 

Lucas was caught off guard and fell heavily on the floor with a bloodstain at the corner of his lips

Not satisfied with the results of the punch, Allen Paul strode over to Lucas's side and gave him a bigger punch, not still satisfied Allen Paul kept on hitting him till his heart content.

While hitting Lucas the manager of the bar stepped out to clear the issue but when he met the two people involved in the fight he couldn't do anything because Allen Paul is the young master of Fem corporation.

Fem corporation has some numbers of entities scattered around the world and that includes hospital, textile and fabrics industry construction company and many more. They are also a major shareholder in most of the prestigious company in some cities and also in most of the major economy of the country.

They are well known and respected both in the business world, the world of politics because of their prestige, wealth and power. Their wealth is so vast that it can't be accumulated. Nobody knows their networth. The Paul family are never trifled with whomever they protect or side with is well respected and taken care of around the globe but whomever they ban ends up having a difficult life.

For that reason, the manager of Nicki bar couldn't do anything because of fear of being ban. All he could do was to stand at the side with onlookers and waiters hoping that the war between two best friends will end soon.

After Allen Paul got tired of venting he left Lucas on the floor stained with blood and took a sit. Looking at his hands covered with blood and bruises.

Lucas knew more than anyone what his best friend Allen Paul is going through so he let him hit him without trying to dodge or fight back.

They have been friends right from childhood. And now comrade in arms, they have always had each other's backs even in the war field, both of them has a tactic understanding of each other.

 Both friends grew up knowing each other so he knew just how much pain Allen Paul is going through because of the death of Miranda

He knew how much sadness Miranda's death brought his best friend and to top it all up, it's been four years since her death and the murder has not been brought to justice 

He knew more than anyone how much Allen Paul misses Miranda and wants to visit her at the cemetery but couldn't because he can't face her because the one who murdered her hasn't been brought to justice. He knew very well how much that makes Allen Paul feel, so frustrated and useless Allen Paul hates being defeated but this particular popular mafia, tiger has defeated him time and time again it's been seven years since they began their search for tiger and also evidence to put him behind bars but all their hard work keep going down the drain. Tiger is always a step ahead of them and it makes him useless.

Allen Paul was giving three more years to turn tiger in with strong evidence if not this particular case will be taken away from his team, the A team, with Allen Paul as the leader of the team this is the first case that took them seven whole years to complete and soon if the case is not solved it will be taken away from the A team and this hurts his pride.

Lucas understood all this, he also understood the fact that Allen Paul wanted to vent so he allowed him to hit him till his heart content.

After the hitting, Lucas strode to his seat and got seated not minding his blood-stained face and clothes.

After sitting Lucas brought out two files from his suit jacket and gave it to Allen Paul saying. There is a high chance that sister-in-law is still alive.
