"Hello tiger long time no see, why are you here," Miranda asked

"You know!! I am finding it difficult to decide on what to call you, which do you think is suitable Agent C or Miranda. Allen answered with a smirk on his face

"Just call me Miranda my name is Miranda, what do you want from me? you know I am not with the Salem brothers or sisterhood anymore, I left a long time ago'.

 Chkuled, You have got some nerve, coming here to see me alone what if I decide to kill you here, you are in debt to us, your name is in the black book".

I know for a fact you won't kill me, I heard you have been in search for me, for a very long time, besides if you wanted to kill me you would have done that a long time ago, I am pretty sure you need my help on something so let's hear it".

With a chuckle, tiger replied you are still smart and beautiful, just like how I remembered, I got you a gift, a bracelet I know you'd love it.

Tiger reached out to the pocket in his jacket hence he  took out an expensive-looking box, he opened it and behold a black diamond bracelet, laying quietly inside the box. The edges of the bracelet were shiny there was a total of 30 carats diamond on it. The bracelet had a huge diamond rock at the middle of the armlets. On the sides of the huge diamond stone, there are four rows of a diamond.

"What do you want from me tiger, where did you get that I made sure I hid that bracelet properly, that bracelet belongs to the sisterhood". You wouldn't want to get on their bad side, Miranda warned.

 Sure you did, I knew very well you won't help me without anything involved, I did a lot of investigation on you but I couldn't find any loved ones or lover to use in threatening you so I decided to look for this and it gave me the results I wanted, don't you worry I killed the bearer.

Thank goodness I and Allen's relationship is kept a secret, Miranda muttered to herself, before hearing tiger's last word.

"Wait a minute you killed Kainka why did you do that you wanted the bracelet you should have taken it. With fright Miranda went on to ask, did Kainka tell you anything about me".

"No, your friend is quite stubborn that was the reason I killed her, she refused to corporate, anyway, we have exchanged enough pleasantries for an old friend, let's get down to business"

Instantly the smiling face he once had turned to a cold one, his well built handsome face became serious and cold just like the devil he is, everything close to him became cold anyone close to him at that moment would even have to watch there breath because the face he has right now is scary.

The building of the Salem brothers is located far away from the city, to the north, it's located in a deserted area of the north you will have to pass through some series of test before allowed to go in. After dropping those words, Miranda stood up to live, when she was a bit far from the table, she stopped in her steps saying. Tell your men not to trail me, if they do I will kill them all. After dropping those words she left the restaurant to her car, the moment she got in her car she breathed a sigh of relief not looking back she directly drove out of the area to her's and Allen's villa.

When she got back home she saw calls and texts dropped by Allen on her phone telling her he won't be back for some days and that he won't be around on the day of his birthday and that she should go to his parent's mansion in other to be taking proper care of. 

After reading the message she called an unsaved number.

Hello, sister, Let's meet up. Kainka is dead, tiger killed her and he is with the almond black bracelet of the sisterhood. Meet me at flourish bar in an hour. After dropping those words she cut the call, went to get dressed. She wore a short skirt and a sleeveless blouse to match then she put on a dark hideous makeup in other to hide her identity then she wore black sneakers on both feet to match.

 Satisfied with her appearance, she switched off her phone dropped it at the Villa and made her way out of the Villa to hail a taxi to get to the bar. When she got to the bar she showed the security personnel standing at the gate her membership card before she was allowed in the bar.

 When she got in she went straight to her private box, took a seat waiting for the lady she called.

After a while of waiting, a lady on black, black pants and sleeveless black blouse, a black well-styled hair also black makeup to match. When she got in she bowed to Miranda respectfully and took a seat beside Miranda.

"Long time sister, you just disappeared and you also left the sisterhood what's going on". The lady on black asked

"Look sister that's a story for some other day, I called you here for a different reason, where are the things I asked for the hope you brought them alongside you" Miranda questioned.

"Yes I did, what do you want to use all these for, are you going back to the Salem brothers"

I am pregnant, and I know for a fact that if the sisterhood gets to find out they will kill me and my child, the both of us, will be killed, I can't let that happen, so tiger will help me get my freedom from the Salem brothers and sisterhood

"What did you get yourself into why are you pregnant, the sisterhood has been in search for you since you left but they couldn't find you. You sure do know how to hide your self. It's just as if you were dead, what have you been up to, why did you get pregnant,  tiger will help you, what is the catch, because I honestly do not believe that guy will help you for nothing unless the child is his".

Come on stop cutting me short let me finish, in other to get my freedom I will be taking him to the Salem brothers in dangerous Ally he wants to strike a deal with them but I have no idea about the so-called deal, I want you to reach out to Michael, I should have done that myself but if I do the sisterhood and Salem brothers will be able to locate me. Give him this letter and he will know what to do that's the reason I came. When all this is over I will be leaving both y city and W city to start a new life with my child. Time: 3 pm

Ever since the news got to the military telling them,  tiger is in W city they have been looking for his location and the place the meeting will be held, they have been up for the whole day and some hours working in other to bring a tiger to justice.

As the time kept ticking it was already 3 pm without any progress, at 3 pm Allen called all the team members for a  meeting.

"My brothers in arms we have been up all day in other to bring a tiger to justice but we still do not know his location or where the meeting with the Salem brothers will be held, but I think we are searching for him in the wrong place. Where ever the meeting will be held, it will be held at a place far away from the city. Maybe in a forest or a building far away from the city but I am sure of one thing, which is the meeting will be held far away from W city. It won't be held in the city or close to the city. It will be held far away from the street camera so get all the map leading to the City and out of the city. We have got work to do.

After Allen was done addressing his comrades in arms a message came into his phone by an unsaved number telling him the time, location and venue for the meeting.

Stay back Allen shouted. I just got a message telling me the venue, time and location for the meeting. Lucas verifies the authenticity of this message gets everything that is to be known about the place. while the rest keep up the search.

Few minutes after the job was allocated to them Lucas gave Allen the report of his search.

"Judging from the location of the meeting I think this person is telling the truth, dangerous Ally is located far away from the city in the north. There is no civilization there. Based on my research there's a worn-out looking building there. But there's something about this building. The building is located in the heart of the forest. The building looks worn out but the doors, windows of that building looks expensive not worn out and there is this strange sign written on the doors and windows the sign is scary. The building is bigger than a villa, the building is bigger than Fem corporation headquarters, it is so big but worn out there are many webs and grown roots on them. On most of the trees leading to the building,  is an image of a skull on them. That place is really dangerous. There is a high chance that the Salem brothers really stays there and the meeting will be held there. It will be difficult for us to get in there we have to come up with a good plan". Lucas gave his report.

We can't just put all our eggs in one basket, we need a backup plan In case that is a trap, have you investigated the number.

Allen Villa 

Inside the bedroom, Miranda was getting ready for the meeting, she was dressed in black, a black tights pants, black long sleeve blouse, black sneakers and a black mask to cover her face after getting ready she sat down at the side of the king-size bed caressing her stomach gently, scared of hurting the child.

My baby, my beloved you have to be strong today, the mother is sorry for hiding Soo much from your dad but I have to do it to protect us, I have to protect our family and this is the only way. After all, this is over, me you and Dad are going to go far away to leave a good life. I promise you that, so just hold on. Do it for mom, mom and dad loves you so much, we love you okay.

After saying that with tears in her eyes she put on her face mask and she made her way out of the villa to the dangerous Ally. On her way she called tiger telling him that she's ready and that she was on her way.

On getting there she saw tiger standing alone with a smile on his face waiting for her.

Don't tell me you came here alone because it is dangerous. Miranda said

Don't worry I came with a plan. Tiger replied with a smile

No matter what happens in there make sure your face is covered. After dropping those words Miranda headed to the tall building on getting there she swipes the card she was holding and the wall was opened instantly, allowing them to get in. Once they were in the building, the building instantly went dark, no light. After waiting for some time a small passageway with shallow light was opened and both of them went inside, they kept on walking until they found a fingerprinted door, the only standing on the passageway. Miranda fixed in her index finger, after making sure of her identity she and tiger were allowed in, after getting in a robot was waiting, who checked them for any ammunition. After making sure there isn't they were allowed to go into the main building.

As soon as they got in, it was as if they were taking into a new world, the interior decoration is different from the outside, even tiger had no choice but to be amazed. The building is an entirely different Castle, different from what he has seen. Every single thing in the building was made with pure gold.

 Most of the ladies in there were dressed half-naked and some others on black all of them were on mask hiding there faces. The building is Soo big that one can easily get lost.

After some hours of waiting, Tiger ran out of patience. Why aren't you taking me to the meeting room

Patient, I am waiting for someone, any wrong move and we are dead or lost so patient

After a while of waiting for a lady who was dressed half-naked stepped out saying

Hello to you both welcome to the home of the Salem brothers. Someone has been waiting for you, this way please she said demonstrating her hands.

I am sorry for not identifying myself earlier here Is my card, I guess you recognize this. The lady asked

Sure we do Miranda replied looking at tiger saying you are so paranoid.

Are u stupid, you have been here long enough to know that people can be bought you know how this world works, you still act dumb?

Miranda just rolled her eyes at him, continue walking. After walking for some minutes Miranda Sensed something was off with the woman and the trail, she has lived here for the past 10 years so literally she's one of those who knows the in and out of the building and how the place works, that is the reason Tiger choose her amidst every other person. As she kept on going her suspicion kept increasing, unable to bear it she whispered into tiger's ear telling him both the woman and Ally is suspicious but what made her surprised was that tiger was calm as usual. Unable to understand his calmness she wanted to call out to the lady telling her they won't go further but was stopped by a tiger. Let her take us to where she wants to.

"Are you crazy?" Miranda asked feeling surprised

"Keep calm, do you think I'd come here without a plan just leave her be". Tiger returned 

After walking for some hours they were taken to a room heavily guarded by men with arms and a man sitting on a chair like a king. The man on the throne was well decorated with jewellery and a completely black dress with a black mask on his face.

When Miranda saw the man's figure, dress and throne she recognized him. This man brought her to the Salem brothers, he has been a father figure to her for ten complete years. He has done Soo much for her over the years. She is out of the Salem brothers is all thanks to him.

"Agent C you are back", Brother Leo greeted How have you...

Brother Leo statement was cut short by one of his men who whispered something into his ears no one knows what he was told but immediately he heard it his eyes darkened.

Take them to a safe place, Brother Leo uttered before standing to his feet.

"Brother Leo what's going on". Miranda asked feeling frightened

They will show you a place to get out of here, go without looking back okay, look for Michael in W city he would help u with whatever you are looking for. Leo commented

Brother Leo I won't let you go, let's leave here together. Miranda returned remaining adamant.

Show them the way out and make sure she's safe, agent c you have to leave the building is under attack, though our security is the latest version, whoever is attacking it is more modernized than we are, any moment from now they will break in so you have to leave now. 

After saying that without looking back he left.

 Miranda and tiger were taken to the back door to make there way out, after getting a little bit far from the passageway, they were heading to a more chaotic place as they could hear the sound of a gun. On getting to their escape root tiger brought out a gun and single-handedly shot all five men taking them to a safe place.

"Hey tiger what are you doing, those are brother Leo's most trusted men, they are trustworthy. Why did you kill them". Miranda asked feeling enraged

Honestly, I don't know if you became weak and senseless after you left because the agent c I know would have detected my scheme.

I knew it, I did my research and I knew it, if you wanted an agreement with the Salem brothers you wouldn't be needing me, I just never knew what you wanted and I needed my freedom Soo badly, what do you want from me, tiger.

It's bad enough that you know my face and identity yet you are still alive, they said secrets are best kept with a dead man 

Are u seriously saying this tiger I have known your secret for years now but I didn't tell on you I am an agent and I know what loyalty means? Miranda returned

Anyway let's cut to the chase you are right I never came here for any stupid agreement we are far better than the Salem brothers in everything, power, wealth, arms, technology so why would I even need them I am here to get the book of innovation

"Are you wishing for death that book is heavily guarded, that book is more secured than anything in this building. The security technology guarding that book is top-notch you can't break in. if any form of insecurity is sensed the person involved will get killed instantly You can't get in. Miranda warned

"Yes true I can't get in but you can and that's why I choose you out of every other person I know, you are one of those who created that security so you can and will get me the book". Tiger replied.

"You said it yourself the mafias are more modernized than the Salem brothers so why do you need the book"

I don't have to answer your every question just get me the book, go on before I put a bullet through your head, mind you my men are surrounding this building do not think of doing anything foolish, now move before I gun you down

"Alright, I am going but just so you know it may be true that I was among those who built that but I don't know how to break in".

"I don't know about that you would figure that out yourself, all I need is the book. Hurry up with it, I don't like it here".

Holding her hands high Miranda kept walking with tiger behind her. After walking for some couple of hours they kept on getting to the danger zone as they could hear the sounds of the gun. But at each side of the road stood a guy with a gun. 

"So everyone here is your men". Miranda asked

"You got that right so you'd better behave".

After a while of walking a man of tiger's came to tell him the military is in and outside the building and that everywhere is surrounded by them.

"Open fire on them kill them all I can't live without that book". Tiger commanded

Well sir that's the problem they came prepared I don't know how they got in they are almost subduing our men they are well armed I don't think we can hold them off for long we have to leave now.

Before leaving tiger looked back at Miranda saying, expect me I will come back for you I must get that book, after dropping those words he made his way out of the building.

Immediately she got out of sight of tiger she started running. No matter what she has to live for Allen and her unborn child sake after running for a while she decided to catch her breath. When she heard the footsteps of people coming she started running even more without looking back. Having lived here for 10 years she knows some escape root because when she was here many times she has attempted to run away. She got to a wall with the sign of a skull she put in her hands and immediately it opened up when she got out of the building she saw Allen standing ahead. Scared of being noticed by him she ran into the bushes to take another root out of the dangerous Ally.

August 21st in W city 1 pm

After a whole day of fighting with the Salem brothers and the mafias, the military was able to subdue them but wasn't able to get tiger but some of the members of the Salem brothers and mafias were arrested while some killed. 

Knock 

"Come in", Allen said

"Hey Lucas "Allen greeted

Bad news Allen all the people we caught were killed during questioning the only tangible information we got from them is that the Salem brothers here aren't the headquarters and that the headquarters is located in the sea far away from here, the Salem brothers are scattered all around the world. No news on tiger's whereabouts but we are sure he was there. Out of all the people arrested one survived he was rushed to the hospital but only some few members in A team is aware of it.

Ok keep the news to ourselves we will be taking him far away from Y city and W city, nobody must know about this the news shall be kept between the both of us. Send words that he is dead Allen said.

Ok I will, but Allen that was cool of you how you were able to break the Salem brothers security without being noticed, that's one of the most secured places in Y city how did you do it, you did plan this so well

"I didn't do it with my strength alone, there's nothing the black market cannot do but it's still annoying and tiring that I couldn't catch tiger it's been four years now I just hate it, that man keeps outsmarting me I don't like it". Allen said feeling depressed

Just at the minute, Allen picked his phone to call Miranda a man came in to inform them that the mole is on the phone, Allen and Lucas immediately ran to the meeting room.

Tiger was there to get a book called the innovative book not to strike a deal, I and most of us here have never seen his face, but there is a book called THE BLACK BOOK it consists of the names of people tiger wants dead and those tiger already killed and the reason they died or yet to die the book also contains a list of there illegal businesses. The book is well hidden I got to know of its existence from a group called the Salem brothers. I overheard that they are looking for a book. If possible. Find the Salem Brothers headquarters they are dangerous but they are your only way of knowing tiger, one more thing a lady called Miranda lucky will be killed today by one of tigers henchmen. She owes the mafias, her names written in the black book, the henchmen to do the job has already been assigned". After the mole dropped those words he cut the call

Once Allen heard the news that Miranda will be killed, he rushed out of the meeting room to his car and drove straight to his villa.

His villa is located at the outskirts of the city, it takes at least three hours drive to get to the villa. To get there faster, he used the military car, not minding the risk involved he drove at a high speed in other to get to the villa faster.

Not minding the traffic light and speed control he drove so fast. This is the first time he felt this way, in some minutes time his lover and unborn child will be dead, this was his fear, the woman he loves most is about to die.

While driving Allen kept calling and texting Miranda but she was not replying any of his calls or texts.

If there is one thing that can't be rewritten or changed is destiny. Most time we just can't have it our way and above all, we can't always be a superhero.

Shortly after she got into the car, the car exploded right in front of Allen's eyes, he lost his beloved two minutes after he got to her.
