CHAPTER 14 : A ROMANTIC KISS

I am so proud of you, darling. Finally, you realized everything. Now, you are the one who’s planning for the most awaited part, seeing each other again. Thank you, darling, Tanya hugged Florence and she kissed him in the lips. Direct Ysa was alarmed because that kiss is not written in the script but somehow, she was satisfied with it, that kiss adds real chemistry as husband and wife in their role.

Wow! Tanya and Florence, you did a very good job! Direct Ysa praised them for a very promising act.

Chant? Mianne? the director shouted. Where are you? It’s your turn. Chant and Mianne showed up with in a formal attire. Their attire fits to them not just because of their role but to their personality.

Mianne showed up wearing a white sleeveless classy dress 2 inches above the knee. She’s wearing a black long sleeve blazer with pearl elastic belt. Her dress was partnered with black wedge sandals. Her hair was curled, her eyelashes was curled too, her lipstick and blush on is pink. She entered holding a black hand bag and carrying folders as documents props.

On the other hand, Chant entered the set wearing white long sleeve inside the black suit. The long sleeve was tacked in with black decent pants with black leather belt. He’s also wearing a black neck tie and black shoes. He went there holding an Engineer cap on his left hand and his right hand holding suit case and blueprints.

Everyone in the set including Direct Ysa startled at them. They were all amazed seeing them wearing their real-life professional attire. Yes, Chant is a Civil Engineer before he entered in acting career and Mianne graduated from her course Business Management.

Everyone! Let’s take the second to the last part of the scene. Chant, Mianne stop talking to each other, listen to me first. Your scene is Sophie and Kingsley meet each other again after 4 years not seeing each other personally. Please do your best to give us the appropriate scene we are expecting, Direct Ysa told them strictly. I know you already memorized your lines but please stick to your script, okay? This is an intimate scene. I mean, not a bed scene but something heart-touching moment you’ll kiss each other at the end of this part.

Mianne and Chant can’t help but looked at each other’s eyes having the same thinking on their minds.

Are you ready? Remember this is just the second to the last part of the episode. There is another scene left to be done after this, Direct Ysa reminds them. Mr. Florence and Ms. Tanya please prepare yourself for the last scene, the director commanded.

Let’s do this! Mianne, Chant stop staring at each other. We are about to start you go to your proper position, come on! Direct Ysa shouted at them. Camera men, Lights men what are you doing? I said, let’s start.

Hi miss, may I ask where is the board meeting room? I am Engr. Kingsley Reyes, Chant started the scene.

Hi sir, come and follow me I will take you there, the extra character said.

They walk for 10 minutes around the building until they reached the Board Meeting Room.

We are here sir. Please enter, and just wait for the other board members, she opened the BMR’s door.

Thank you so much for your help, miss. Okay, I will wait for the others here, Chant put down his things on the table and sat down. While waiting for the board members of the company Chant walked around the room to ease his boredom that moment.

On the other hand, Mianne is in hurry that moment. OMG! I’m late. What time is it now? She looked at her watch and reacted, Oh my gosh, I’m 5 minutes late! She opened the door of the Board Meeting room in hurry caused her things fell down on the floor. Chant rescued, he picked up all the things fell down on the floor until their hands met picking up Mianne’s to do list notebook.

While picking it up, a rectangular shape piece of paper was dropped from the notebook down to the floor. Chant gave the notebook but he didn’t look at Mianne’s face yet because his attention was caught by the dropped piece of paper. He picked it up and he saw his picture. He slowly gets up looking at the lady in front of him.

Sophie? Chant uttered in a soft sweet voice staring at Mianne.

Kingsley? Is that you? Mianne asked the man in front of him. She hugged Kingsley very tight making the man feel that she really missed him. Thank God you are back! You don’t know how happy I am right now, she whispered.

Yes, it’s me, Sophie. I’m here because of my love for you. I promised you that I will come back as soon as I achieved my dreams. I will prove to your parents that I am the only man who deserves to have you for a life time, Chant uttered the words coming from his heart.

Chant fixed Mianne’s hair putting it around her ear until his hand reached her cheeks down to her chin. He moved closer to Mianne’s face and held her waist moved her body closer to him.

The lady kissed him romantically, a torrid kiss for about 3 minutes. That moment, they felt how much they love each other before and how much their love gets stronger and stronger until now.

So, you mean you went here to surprise me? Mianne asked him seeing in her eyes how happy she was that moment.

No, the CEO of this company told my company that they want to coordinate with me in the new building construction. You are working here? Where are the board of directors of this company? Chant asked the lady in front of her curiously.

So, you didn’t plan this meet up? Mianne asked him.

No, I didn’t. I am here for a meeting but luckily, I found you. It seems that this is our fate.
