CHAPTER 4 : HIS PERFECT-SHAPED BODY ATTRACTS HER

Don’t deny it, hon. Ms. Tanya and Mr. Florence told us to be honest with each other, remember? Chant reminds her about the engaged couple’s advice. And so, she said admitted that she has a crush on him before.

They have been together until the sun rises. They didn’t sleep the whole night just to reminisce everything about them before they finally put label on their relationship as a couple. Though they have mutual understanding before, being called as girlfriend and boyfriend leveled up.

That morning, far from showbiz world, they enjoyed the place for the last moment. They walked around and feel the fresh air coming from the trees and plants, the gift of nature. They looked at the mountain once again and appreciate the beauty of it even if it’s very far from them. Then, Chant held Mianne’s hand and gave his promise.

I’ll make you happy every single day you are with me. I promised to love you today, tomorrow and for a life time. He noticed that Mianne looked so sad, Chant asked the lady why.

Why are you sad, hon? Is there something wrong? Chant asked her with a concern tone.

It’s just that, we are about to go back to the world where we have to be careful to all our actions, Mianne took a deep breath. The world of lies, she said in a low energy tone. Now that we are officially in a relationship, we can’t tell the world our real status according to Ms. Tanya and Mr. Florence it’s better to keep it private so, no one can ruin us, Mianne added and showed a glimpse of smile.

Don’t worry, hon. We just have to choose to be quiet and keep our relationship private. Not telling them the truth is not a sin. Also, it doesn’t mean we are not proud with our relationship, Chant said while touching Mianne’s hair and putting it around her ears. Always remember, hon, choosing to be careful is not telling a lie, it’s protecting our relationship for some situations that might ruin us, our careers, Chant explained he put his finger on near her lips to make her smile.

Yes, hon. I think this will not be hard for us. We are actress and actor, we can pretend we are not a real couple, we can hide our relationship, Mianne assured him. Let’s keep it a secret. Ms. Tanya and Mr. Florence can be trusted they will not tell something about our real status just like what they did when they are in our situation now, she uttered in a serious tone.

They walk while holding each other’s hand towards the direction of the car where they left it. They started to wonder why Mr. Florence proposal got delayed. When they finally get inside the car, they asked each other about the possible reasons of the delayed proposal.

Hon, what do you think is the cause Mr. Florence delayed proposal? Mianne curiously asked her boyfriend.

Well, with that we didn’t know. Maybe because of their careers, hon, Chant uttered in an unsure tone. What important now is, they were engaged after a long time of waiting, Chant added.

You are right, hon. Come on, let’s go. I need to go home to get some things needed for our taping. It’s our last day, our movie is about to end and according to Direct Ysa, we should finish it today, Mianne said.

Chant starts the car but it’s not working, the car machine started to produce a cracking sound like its machine started to fail operating. He takes off the key and he get outside the car, Mianne followed him. Chant opened the car hood and he put a stand on it so, he can check what’s the real problem of the car why it’s not working.

Oh no! Hon, my car won’t work, it’s out of gas, Chant explained.

Is that the only problem, hon? Mianne asked.

It runs out of gas. We just need to fill it with gas to work, Chant explained. Hon, can you search where is the nearest gasoline station here? Chant asked her a favor.

And Mianne did. She searched for the nearest gasoline station and she found out that the near gasoline station will take 15 minutes of walking and she discussed it to Chant.

Chant runs to the nearest gasoline station Mianne told him to buy gas for his car. He took 15 minutes from running before he reached the gasoline station and another 15 minutes going back where he left his girlfriend.

Chant, you are back! She hugged her boyfriend panting…

Hmmmm… Ahh! Fa-fa-finally, a-a-I bo-bo-bought it. Sorry to keep you waiting, hon, he gasped while holding his knees.

The sweat flows into his face and in his different body parts like arms, legs and chest. His shirt was wet because of the perspiration he released from 30 minutes of running. It’s like he went to the gym to work out.

Mianne wiped his sweat and she checked Chant’s back, it’s wet. She asked Chant to take off his shirt and replace it with another shirt if he has extra shirt in the car.

Chant, I think you need to take off your shirt and wear new. So, you’ll not get sick. Did you bring an extra shirt? I will get it for you, Mianne asked him with a concern tone.

Yes, I have an extra shirt there in my black backpack. 30 minutes of running under the sun really made me release fats, I guess. I think you should try it, hon. So, you can release your fats too, he is about to laugh but he wasn’t able to continue when Mianne widened her eyes on him. I mean, it’s a good exercise hon, he refused in a sweet kidding tone.

Mianne went inside the car to get an extra shirt. After getting the shirt, she saw her boyfriend taking off his shirt in front of her and everything goes in a slow motion. The sweat flowing adds a little bit sexy to his body going down to his abs that made Mianne startled. In fact, her saliva almost fell.

Chant tried to get his shirt but it seems like Mianne don’t want to take her hands off the shirt, she freezes like a mannequin

Hey! Hon! Are you alright? What’s happening to you? He tapped her shoulder and whispered into her ear, “Hon, can I get my shirt?”

Yeah! Yeah! Here is your shirt, she widened her eyes and she turned back covering her face. Hey! Wear your shirt faster and fill the tank with gas so, we can go out of here, she said in a soft sweet but shy tone.
