CHAPTER 7 : PAINFUL DECISION

While walking slowly, he can’t help but cry and he just let his tears cover his face. Sophie called him but he’s not looking back and he never stops even for a while. Her girlfriend runs after him and hugged him from his back but he never looked at her even just a glimpse.

He continued walking while Sophie started to bent her knees and pleaded. “Kingsley! Please don’t do this to me, you promised me that you’ll never leave me. Why are you doing this to me, huh! She said emotionally. Please, honey don’t leave me. Tell me you didn’t love me and I will let you go, she added while crying.

Kingsley took off her hands and looked back, Sophie, please try to understand my decision. I’m leaving for good, for our future.

She brings back her hands round him very tight. I will not take off my hands on you unless you tell me, you didn’t love me anymore that’s why you are doing this to me, she uttered bravely. Tell me, do you still love me, Kingsley? She asked in an unsure tone.

Kingsley decided to tell Sophie the words he doesn’t want to say. The words he knows he will regret but to assure that Sophie will have a good life, he said it trying to hide his real emotion.

Sophie, this is the truth! I didn’t love you anymore. So, please don’t be desperate. Come on, take off your hands on me, he said in high tone.

No! I don’t believe you, Kingsley. I can feel how much you love me and how much you hurt yourself by telling a lie to me, she shouted at him.

Kingsley left her alone at the middle of the park. The sky turns to gray and approaching to give sympathy on the two lovers who are forcedly separated by fate.

And… Cuuuuttt! The director declared.

Pack up guys! The rain is about to fall. All of you did a very good job today! Let’s just wait for the rain to stop so we can continue the last scene. You rest for a while. I will call you if everything is set. Thank you for all your effort especially to our lead characters and supporting characters who really exerted their effort for this! Direct Ysa generally said.

There are designated rooms for all the casts where you can stay there. Just get the key of your room to your managers. Enjoy! Direct Ysa told them. Be prepared for the last scene. Once I called you, please go to the set as fast as you can, she added.

Thank you so much, direct! We will go to our rooms now, please excuse us, Ms. Tanya uttered. Come on, Mianne! Let get the key of our room to our manager, she put her hand around Mianne’s hand and invited her to come with her.

Oh yeah! Let’s go, Ms. Tanya. I think I really need to take a rest. My head is aching, she held her head’s temple and walked together with Ms. Tanya. Bye, direct! See you later, she looked back and said.

When Ms. Tanya and Mianne almost turn to the right path where their rooms are located, Florence and Chant followed them saying, “See you later” giving them a sweet smile. Florence signed that he will call Tanya while Chant gave Mianne a flying kiss, then the two men turned left where their rooms are located and the women turned right.

Mngr. Trixie and Mngr. Iniego noticed what the two couples did, they just smiled at each other when they saw the couples happy with each other even in just simple gestures.

Ms. Trixie Ruiz manages Mianne and Tanya’s career since the day Tanya entered the showbiz industry but she took a 5-year break from handling Tanya when she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. That 5 years, Tanya was under Ms. Connie Torres, the years when (Tanya/Florence) YaRence love team bloomed. She came back after she recovered from stage 3 cancer and that was the year when Mianne Mendez decided to enter in the world of showbiz.

When Tanya got the news that her former manager is back, she decided to get back to Ms. Trixie’s management, the year when her contract to Ms. Connie ended. Now, It’s Tanya’s 10^th year in showbiz and Mianne is in her 2^nd year.

On the other hand, Mr. Iniego Chavez manages the career of Chant and Florence who really gave them a good break in showbiz since the day they entered in showbiz industry. Florence is now on his 12^th year in the industry while Chant is on his 5^th year in showbiz.

Both of their managers are competitive and very considerate. Mngr. Trixie loves Mianne and Tanya among the actresses she’s handling because of their good personality, she knew that the two will have a good career if they will explore and will not stay in just one leading man and in just one love team.

Same as Mngr. Trixie, Mngr. Iniego believes that the two actors under his management will be more productive if they will be paired in different actresses in showbiz. They support the couples in every decision-making they are doing because they knew that they can trust them with that. They are like parents to the both couples who are always reminding them to be careful on and off cam to prevent issues and controversies.

Both of their managers after giving the keys of their rooms decided to go outside to breath in some fresh air though it’s raining outside. Mngr. Iniego noticed Mngr. Trixie sitting on a bench with a shed while looking at the rain drops. He sat beside her and talk to her about the two couples.

Hi! I thought I was just the only person who wants to breath in fresh air while raining. What are you doing here Trixie?

Well, just like you, I just want to breath in fresh air while raining, I just want to think about Mianne and Tanya’s career. We didn’t have time to talk to one another about Tanya and Florence career 5 years ago. Though she’s with me again for 2 years she still remained silent about her career 5 years ago, Ms. Trixie said in a worried tone.

Yes, you are right, Trixie! There’s a lot of controversies happened after you left. When Tanya was under Ms. Connie, she was forced to create new social media accounts which are not connected to you. I don’t know if she had a contact to you with that of 5 years, Mr. Iniego said.
