Detention and Grounding was great

Sunday.

Kevin and Keliah give me a surprise visit  when I was in my room. I was surprised because they were always afraid to come to my house because of my stepmom.

Where did they gather soo much courage from?

Keliah could be considered because her parents and my family are family friends. Fauzia did not want any of my female friends visiting.

Worst of it all, Kevin is here too and he is a male.

I can see anger on her face but she fakes a smile and tries to be nice to my friends when I come down to welcome them.

I join them after changing my clothes into more decent ones. Keliah and Kevin made my day as they helped me skip chores;yesterday's and today.

My dad offered to take us for a ride and also to a restaurant as  part of my birthday celebration. I can see Fauzia angry as we take leave of her.

She smiles when Keliah waves at her saying we will be right back. I just like the expression on her face. She looks like a ninety year old woman who just saw maggots in her food.

The drive to the restaurant and the park was so good as we all spoke about interesting things, places and stuff. 

We ordered enough food and we were done we headed to the park Kevin is sitting behind me,  during the drive he passes his around the seat to touch me and  every time I turn to look at him he smiles revealing his white teeth. I stare at Kevin through the window and smile.

My father sees me when I am happily playing with him. Or should I say it was something romantic. My dad smiles at what we did. I guess this made him remember my mom. He loved her soo much and I am he was expecting to lose her like that.

My dad doesn't know the woman he got married to is the cause of my mother's death. I wanted to cry as it made me remember her,but I didn't want to make my dad feel sad or make Kevin cry. He is an emotional person and he cries when he is hurt or when you are hurt.

Keliah is very sad as she has no one to play with as all the attention has been get me. I bet she wished Allen, her first boyfriend was with her in the car to keep her company.

We arrive at the park  and surprisingly we met someone and guess who it is. Allen is sitting on one of the benches in the park. A smile appears on her face but immediately she sees us staring at her the smile disappears

She goes to sit with Allen and I can see that they are happily chatting. My dad as he goes to play games with some of his friends in the park.

Kevin and I move to a more quiet place away from Allen and Keliah and my dad. We sit on a mat when we got to the beautiful and small garden.We sit as we share out or differences, memories and personal life and experiences.

I find Kevin a very interesting person and I think l will choose him as my first boyfriend. We sit for some time staring at each other and not realizing  that the weather has changed from sunny to  cloudy.

We are about to share a kiss when all of a sudden the rain starts. I am disappointed as I really wanted to have his pink lips on mine. My dad calls me to get  back to the car because of the rain. We had a great time though but the rain spoilt it right. These were the words Kevin said once we got back into the car,i let out smile making him blush.

I stare at him  for sometime until my father spoils this lovely moment by saying all seatbealts on..My dress were soaked up due to the rain making me shiver. Kevin notices and passes his hoodie which he left in the car before we went out to me. I smile through out the whole drive as Kevin was only making me smile and blush. We arrived at home and the rain hasn't stopped so we all moved to my room to watch movies. When the movie started getting boring we put on some music and we started dancing.

I never knew Kevin was a good dancer. The rain stopped a few minutes later. Kevin left before Keliah left. But before Keliah was about to leave she told her she wanted to have a word with her. I wanted to eavesdrop but then I went away, but then something kept on telling me to go back. I went back only to hear Fauzia saying just do it for a few notes and I hear  Keliah saying I can't she is my best friend.

Keliah if  you don't do this you are not going to survive middle school and high school. Okay I will. I leave as I think they are almost done with their conversation. What on earth could she be asking Keliah for.

She left after a few minutes  and then Fauzia starts making a call which I assume is a female. I can hear her saying I got her to do it meaning she got Keliah to aid in her plan. Who  oulf she be talking to?

Can you believe that Fauzia is soo angry I went for the party and also because I went to hangout with my friends. She said I had chores to do and guess what they were ;cleaning of MacKenzie's  room, feeding her puppy and preparing smoothies for her. Who the hell does these for a twelve year old whi is not physically impaired.

She wanted me to miss Keliah's birthday party  or the outing just for her  spoilt daughter's need.

Kevin called me at around 9pm and while we spoke I could tell that Fauzia was  eavesdropping, but then I didn't mind. He told me he was sending me out today. I was soo excited to go out with him. We spoke for about two hours.

Monday

7:00 am

I am done dressing up and I am getting ready to go to school. Fauzia storms into my room and tells me to give my phone to her. I  tell her I am not giving my phone to her.I  also tell her that MacKenzie sends her phone to school so  why can't I send mine. I  walked past and she told me I was going to regret this moment but I just banged the door in her face.

7:29am

This morning as I went to my locker to remove my books, I saw Keliah standing with Clara, Michelle and Sasha. So I went over to greet her as I didn't hear from her last night. She just chuckled and just left me confused. Why would my best friend be acting cold towards me?

Guess the subject I have. I have Science, 8 have hated this subject since childhood but guess what I still make the highest grade.

The class was boring so I decided to chat with Kevin who was in a different class

While I was  chatting with Kevin I heard the science teacher yell, Ms Alisha would you please pay attention to what I am teaching.

At that time Kevin had told me to meet him in the school's Park. 8 left the class and this shocked almost all the students in the class. I and Kevin spent the whole class period in the park.

We went back to our classes a period to the closing time. We were in the class when the prefect came to call Kevin and I that we were wanted by the principal. I knew what I did wrong and this was the first time I was violating the rules and regulation of the school.

We went into the principals office hand in hand(Kevin and I ). Mrs Chuks     was our principal. She was strict and also good. She had asked us to explain our reasons for carrying out those mischievous acts. We could not explain ourselves so she gave us a two hour suspension after detention in the old library.

2:00pm

Detention starts...

We enter the room as it is been locked by Mrs. Chucks and we can hear I forming our parents on our detention. I should have thought about the consequences of that. Kevin sees am sad and he tells me he is sorry.

We start playing with the books and also start learning to know each other well. Kevin starts looking into my eyes with his magnetic eyes and this sent a chill through my spine. He pulls me closer so we can share a kiss. At that moment we hear footsteps and we are so excited to leave the place.Detention was really good as it would have given me another opportunity to kiss Kevin. Mrs Chuks opens the room to find us in  a messed room with books on the floor. She tells us to pack all the books in the shelves.

I got to the ice cream shop to work for an hour before going home with Kevin. I enter the room only to find my parents angry.

My father announces that I am grounded for two weeks of the summer vacation before I can even explain myself. I was grounded because I spoke in a disrespectful way to both my stepmom and teacher and also skipping and using my phone in class. My father seized my phone that very moment.

That evening Kevin came knocking on my window and I allowed him into my room. He has been coming into my room almost every day until one time we shared a deep kiss. One time as we were in the room we heard someone coming,so I made him hide under my bed. It was Fauzia who entered  and I think she felt someone was here.

So she came to search and she didn't find anyone. Immediately she left, Kevin came out and jumped through the window. I think Fauzia heard the sound and camo into my room to check. She went to look through the window and found nothing. She asked me what it was but I told her I had no idea what it was.
