Epsd 14

Teased to what had just happened. I returned to my table, finished my lunch and headed back to class.

As I was busy consoling myself, james came and sat just next to me. I was curious though to what he was doing there. Gazed at Kat's seat but she wasn't there. So I turned to the chubby boy and at him I sneered.

"What do you want?"

"To apologise to you about how Kat behaved earlier." Said he with a genuine look of regret.

"She can't apologise herself so she sends her puppet to do it for her."

"Oh Angela.... don't call me a puppet and no. She doesn't know a thing about me being here. But if you want her to apologise to you, then she will." His eyebrows raised as he spoke.

"Oh really... haha... if you think you can get her to apologise to me, then here is the deal. Drop her at my house tonight and I will bring her home later. If you do that, maybe I will consider stop calling you her puppet." Said I will glow in my eyes hoping he could possibly bring her to my place.

"That's not a deal I can make. It's silly but either ways. I will have her at your door by tonight. Be ready to receive her." He said raising from the seat after he gazed at Kat enter the room.

Though I doubted he could fulfill his promise, I still hoped he would. When school ended, I headed back home. Found mom and dad where not around which excited my heart. Rushed to my bedroom and tried to clean up every mess I had there.

Picked up my pyjamas from the floor, vacuumed the carpet. As I felt the silliness in me, I was eager to have Kat take stairs up to my bed. Though the evening was too slow due to my impatience, I kept hopeful.

It was eight thirty p.m and I had already taken my post by the entrance veranda waiting for James's car to Beep infront of me.

Not any sooner did he really get her to my door step. I had my head down in prayer when I heard a car beep and on the right side seat sat Kat.

She turned a gaze at me in surprise trying to stay locked in when I saw James say something to her that got her unlock the car door.

She came out looking gorgeous as ever in brown jeans and a jade blouse. Her hair was set in a ponytail and her boots drizzled that I weirdly gazed at.

Immediately after she had stepped out of the car, james took off, and when she tried to stop him, she strained her ankle. I rushed close to help her up her feet but she stop me. Then again, I forcefully took her arm and sat her to my veranda. I went in to get the aid kit and there I found mom making dinner for two. Obviously her and dad. I went to the kitchen drawer and there I picked the kit and headed out again to help Kat.

When I reach her, she was set to question my care as she went.

"Why are you so helpful? Like? Why are you helping me?"

"Well because your silly.... delicate and i like you." I honestly replied as I watched her turn a face.

I was able to tell her that I really did like her which was the only thing I always wanted to do.

"You like me? Why?"

"I told you dummy. Do I need to explain why I like people. That's silly." I jokingly said to cover up what I really meant.

"Sorry about earlier today." She apologised with a smile that I sent away without knowing.

"Oh... no offense taken thou. Your're just this silly know it all girl who doesn't bother me at all."

"I could take back the apology you know that right?"

"I never asked you to apologise in the first place dummy." I said in my pride.

"But seriously. Thank you for helping me out there. It was alot to take in." She sighed.

"Its alot to take in Kathryn. And you can't lie to me. I know it still hurts. The humiliation, the voices of those idiots laughing. " i shove myself to the feeling of pity. "You wanna come in?"

"Sure. Thank you." She said as I help get her to her feet. Took her inside the house, there she saw mom and dad, said hello and up the stairs to my bedroom.

She lightened up to the sight of my room. I completely saw how it mesmerized her. Tried to stroll around but I stopped and sat her on a couch where I immediately caught an eye at the book that had her drawing in that I hurriedly covered and went out to get us both coffee.

When I headed back, I noticed she was caught by my work

"So you love art..huh " she chuckled

"No. I love what I draw. Not art."

"Your not that good at being in a conversation, are you?" She revised.

"Yeah."

Handing her the cup of coffee.

"Why are you not with your parents down stairs?" She asked

"They don't think am their daughter. But can't send me out of there house."

"What? Why? Aren't they?"

"Because am a lesbian. And they are my parents. Does it bother you?" I gazed in her eyes.

And there I watched how bothered she was with the word lesbian. So I asked her if she was in anyway bothered by my sexually.

"No. No! Not at all. I always thought you people are dope." Looking in her cup of coffee. I really was not taking the attitude in.

"I know. You can't even say it right? Let's get you home already. It's late." I tuned in my bitter mood.

"Sure." She growled at my request.

Picked up my car keys and we headed down stairs. Took mý jacket off the hook and pulled the door open.

"Get in the car." I ordered.

"You don't have to take me home Angela." She proposed.

"Well that's very silly of you if you think I won't take you home. Your puppet made me promise I would. So get in the damn car dummy." I insisted.

Drove hurriedly and in a snap, we were at her house. Watched her get out of the car and after a thought, she silently Said.

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight to you too DUMMY." I replied chuckling

Then i raced my car and headed to my warehouse where I usually spent my time.
